Polycystic ovarian syndrome can be completely cured with homoeopathic medicines. No side effects in homoeopathic medicines. We can prevent further recurrence. Avoid non veg and bakery items. Reduce intake of oily and fatty foods. Drink plenty of water. Daily walk about 45 mins. While taking homoeopathic medicines please avoid coffee and soft drinks for fast and better action of medicines. Nothing to worry.

I have gone sleep at afternoon for almost 3 hrs when I woke up I was getting sever head ace and my body heats up and getting body pains fever . It was happened almost for every time when I go for sleep at afternoon. But next day it was normal . Suggest me how to get out of it.

It is at all not a good habit to sleep for 2_3 hrs in the afternoon. One should take rest or a small nap for 15 to 20 minutes or so. This gives you freshness and energy for post lunch session.

Hello Shagoon, Yes Primolut N will help you get normal periods even if you have some kind of infection. However I would suggest you to solve the infection. In that case, you will get periods even without taking Primolut N. At the age of 19 yrs, it is not good to take such hormonal pills regularly.

First of all you need to change your eating habits and life style... Do not eat spicy, fried, fatty, high protein and junk foods... Avoid eating anything atleast two hours before you  sleep.. Eat lots of high Fibre diet like salad... For acute problem you can take tab pantocid DSR once daily empty stomach for two weeks .. also take syrup sucral-O 4 teaspoon before taking food three times daily ... If you are not relieved with this treatment after two weeks then get a upper GI endoscopy done...

It is more important to deal with Chronic anxiety as it can have other serious health issues. Please get immediate medical help from a qualified doctor. Regarding losing weight, have a balanced and healthy diet. Yoga and meditation will help deal with chronic anxiety. Have a sound sleep of atleast 87 -8 hours daily.

If your are bleeding then you are not pregnant, sometimes the OCP's (oral contraceptive pills) may not work. Please try to avoid OCP's they will have several side effects, instead you try to do that 1 week before and after your periods so that you will not get pregnant. This period is called safe period.

I am 31 year old male. I have problem of frequent urination. But it's not occurring always. If I drink less water frequency will be less. If I went to my home town frequency is less. Hello, as per your details, it is normal to have frequent urination in air condition and rainy season. Because our body tries to maintain the body temprature normal. So if you visit your town, according to that climate, you pass less urine .so do not worry about your health. There is no problem at all. After mastrubation, your body temprature rises causing more urination. Regards.

Circumcision and semen discharge are not corelated and are not dependent on each other and it is only when you stroke your erect penis inside your wife s vagina you will release the sperms inside.

Doctor I am a chain smoker and I wanna know foods which will help my lungs to counter smoke effect. As I am trying to quit.

There is no foods specific to helping you counter the tobacco smoke effect on your lungs. You may however take the following measures to improving your lungs and as well as quitting smoking: When you smoke you damage your lungs: when you smoke more you damage your lungs more: and if you smoke less you damage your lungs no less – well may be a little less. Your desire to smoke less is most welcome but it is not enough. You must quit your smoking completely and you must do it now, seriously. The tobacco tar in cigarette smoke lines your lung with huge patches that make that portion dysfunctional. Your oxygen carrying capacity is jeopardized, and breathing is impinged. But don’t be discouraged because it is not too late even now to reverse all the ill-effects of smoking. I don’t know what other organs could be damaged but do go for a thorough medical check up to assess the effects of your abuse. Regarding improving your lungs, do a lot of aerobic exercise breathing through your nostrils only. Then there are a lot of deep breathing exercises in Yoga which you can learn too. Deep breathing cleanses your system and lungs and restores it to good health. Deep breathing uses the 80% of the lungs which are not normally used in normal breathing and even when exerting yourself. The greatest effect is in the lungs because this substance is processed through the respiratory system directly through the lung surface. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine gums and nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. At least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest. But don’t fool yourself any smoking is harmful, and you need to seriously get on with quitting it completely and immediately.

The screeming and inability to sleep, together they indicate you have some suppressed feelings/desires of the day time activity. So do not be thinking of things which are beyond your controle, take life as it comes. For you to easily fall asleep you need to have some physical exercises. What is your normal day to day activity? let me know for further evaluation. Meanwhile go for morning walk, jogging, learn some dancing, learn some yoga. All these you should complete before 6 pm. Have dinner at 7/7.30 pm go to bed by 9.30-10 pm. Morning and evening practice some meditation. All these things will help you to relax and make you easily fall asleep and have peaceful sleep. Without knowing your day to day work etc. I suggested these things, if I know your daily activities I will be able to give better suggestion.

High cholesterol increases your risk of heart disease and heart attacks. You can improve cholesterol with medications, but if you'd rather first make lifestyle changes to improve your cholesterol, try these five healthy changes. If you already take medications, these changes can improve their cholesterol-lowering effect. Even if you have years of unhealthy eating under your belt, making a few changes in your diet can reduce cholesterol and improve your heart health. Choose healthier fats. Saturated fats, found primarily in red meat and dairy products, raise your total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, the "bad" cholesterol. As a rule, you should get less than 7 percent of your daily calories from saturated fat. Choose leaner cuts of meat, low-fat dairy and monounsaturated fats — found in olive and canola oils — for healthier options. Eliminate trans fats. Trans fats affect cholesterol levels by increasing the "bad" cholesterol and lowering the "good" cholesterol. This bad combination increases the risk of heart attacks. Trans fats can be found in fried foods and many commercial products, such as cookies, crackers and snack cakes. But don't rely on packages that are labeled "trans fat-free. In the United States, if a food contains less than 0.5 grams of trans fat in a serving, it can be labeled "trans fat-free. Follow the package directions for how to use them. Exercise can improve cholesterol. Moderate physical activity can help raise high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, the "good" cholesterol. With your doctor's OK, work up to at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. Adding physical activity, even in 10-minute intervals several times a day, can help you begin to lose weight. Just be sure that you can keep up the changes you decide to make. Consider: Taking a brisk daily walk during your lunch hour Riding your bike to work Swimming laps Playing a favorite sport To stay motivated, find an exercise buddy or join an exercise group. And remember, any activity is helpful. Even taking the stairs instead of the elevator or doing a few situps while watching television can make a difference. If you smoke, stop. Quitting might improve your HDL cholesterol level. And the benefits don't end there. Within 20 minutes of quitting, your blood pressure and heart rate decrease. Within one year, your risk of heart disease is half that of a smoker. Within 15 years, your risk of heart disease is similar to someone who never smoked. Carrying even a few extra pounds contributes to high cholesterol. Losing as little as 5 to 10 percent of your weight can improve cholesterol levels. Start by evaluating your eating habits and daily routine. Consider your challenges to weight loss and ways to overcome them. Small changes add up. If you eat when you're bored or frustrated, take a walk instead. If you pick up fast food for lunch every day, pack something healthier from home. For snacks, munch on carrot sticks or air-popped popcorn instead of potato chips. Don't eat mindlessly. And look for ways to incorporate more activity into your daily routine, such as using the stairs instead of taking the elevator or parking farther from your office. Moderate use of alcohol has been linked with higher levels of HDL cholesterol — but the benefits aren't strong enough to recommend alcohol for anyone who doesn't already drink. If you drink alcohol, do so in moderation. For healthy adults, that means up to one drink a day for women of all ages and men older than age 65, and up to two drinks a day for men age 65 and younger. Too much alcohol can lead to serious health problems, including high blood pressure, heart failure and stroke. Sometimes healthy lifestyle changes aren't enough to lower cholesterol levels. Make sure the changes you make are ones you can continue to do, and don't be disappointed if you don't see results immediately. If your doctor recommends medication to help lower your cholesterol, take it as prescribed, but continue your lifestyle changes. Lifestyle changes can help you keep your medication dose low.
