Mesotherapy: 7 Benefits Associated With it

Body molding and contouring is one of the ways in which one can tweak and create a more pleasant appearance. There are several cosmetic and other types of procedures that can help in this regard. Mesotherapy is one of the few non-invasive, body molding techniques that includes infusing greasy tissues with extraordinary mixes and combinations. This comprises of plant concentrates, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and catalysts that work together to separate fat cells and dispense with the cells from the body actually. The infusion additionally contains sedatives and solutions to diminish any pain that may be experienced during the procedure.

Procedure: With mesotherapy, a series of injections are administered just underneath the surface of the skin. These injections can be administered to the thighs, hindquarters, knees and guts. Within a matter of days, the fat cells start to separate and dissipate. These injections have homeopathic and other pharmaceutical properties and qualities built into them for a winning combination.

Advantages

This procedure has a number of benefits in terms of the way it is carried out. Mesotherapy offers a few advantages for individuals that would prefer not to experience surgery to lose a couple ""vanity"" pounds.

  1. It is a non-invasive surgery that does not require hospitalization or painful incisions and cuts on the body for administration of the elements.
  2. It does not require general anesthesia, which makes it a simpler process in terms of recovery.
  3. This procedure can easily be performed on an outpatient basis so that the patient is able to go back home soon after the procedure.
  4. It delivers even results throughout the body due to proper distribution of the medication.
  5. It gives rise to better dissemination and blood flow in the treated territory.
  6. It also prevents muscle fits.
  7. Offers dependable results depending on the whether or not the individual maintains a proper diet and lifestyle.

Things you should remember before opting for it

Mesotherapy too has some risks associated with it, so it is imperative to cast a glance on them and discuss the same with the doctor.

  1. Smoldering sensation can be experienced during and after the technique.
  2. Redness and swelling for a few days after the system
  3. It can become an expensive affair.
  4. Some wounds may be expected.
  5. One may experience allergic reactions to the chemicals and mixes infused.
  6. Danger of disease at the infusion site.
  7. Probability of perpetual swelling and irregularities under the skin.
  8. Unnecessary disturbance and irritation of the skin and its tissues.

All about Menorrhagia

Fellowship In Minimal Access Surgery, MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology, MBBS

All about Menorrhagia

Menorrhagia is menstrual condition characterized by an abnormal loss of blood or heavy, prolonged bleeding. Although heavy bleeding is not uncommon in premenopausal women, menorrhagia is a severe condition which generally interferes with your daily activities. If your vagina bleeds irregularly or between periods, in addition to such heavy bleeding that at least one pad or tampon gets soaked every few hours, it is highly recommended that you seek medical attention.

Symptoms
Signs and symptoms of menorrhagia include:

  1. Soaking through more than one tampon or sanitary pad for every few hours
  2. The need to use double sanitary protection
  3. Heavy bleeding for weeks on end
  4. The need to wake up at night to change your sanitary protection
  5. Restriction of daily activities due to heavy menstrual flow
  6. Symptoms of fatigue, such as excessive tiredness as well as shortness of breath

Causes
Although the exact causes are unknown, here are a few causes that may be responsible:

  1. Hormonal imbalance is when there is an hormone imbalance, the endometrium develops in excess and sheds away with menstruation
  2. In Ovary dysfunction, if your ovaries do not ovulate, your body won't be able to produce the hormone progesterone resulting in a hormonal imbalance problem which may lead to menorrhagia
  3. Uterine fibroids are benign tumors which start appearing in your childbearing years
  4. Polyps are small benign growths found on the uterine lining
  5. Adenomyosis occurs when your glands from the endometrium becomes embedded in the uterine muscle
  6. By using Intrauterine device (IUD) menorrhagia may occur as a side-effect
  7. Pregnancy complications, for instance, an ectopic pregnancy can cause it
  8. Inherited bleeding disorders, such as von Willebrand disease
  9. Certain medications like anti-inflammatory drugs
  10. Other medical conditions, like pelvic inflammatory disease or endometriosis

Treatment
Treatment for menorrhagia depends on a number of factors like the cause and severity of the condition, or your tolerance for specific therapies or medications.
Some drug therapies for menorrhagia include:

  1. Iron supplements
  2. Tranexamic acid
  3. Oral progesterone
  4. Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
  5. Oral contraceptives
  6. Hormonal IUD

If drug therapy is ineffective, other treatment options may include:

  1. Dilation and curettage
  2. Focused ultrasound ablation
  3. Uterine artery embolization
  4. Endometrial ablation
  5. Myomectomy
  6. Endometrial resection
  7. Hysterectomy

7 Anti-Beauty Habits That Kill Your Looks the Most!

You might be spending a lot to add to your beauty. But there are many bad habits which affect your beauty. Here is the list of the most common terrible habits which might be damaging your skin and health.

1. Squeezing pimples: When you pop a pimple, clogged pore is burst open releasing bacteria. These bacteria come in contact with your rest of the skin and increase the acne. Moreover, habit of squeezing pimples may also leave scars and pock marks. The best way to get rid of pimples is to use medicated/ antibacterial soap and let it heal itself.

2. Licking/ chewing your lips: Chewing your lips make them even drier and chapped. It makes you to lick and chew your lips more often. Excessive lip biting also results into bleeding and infection. To avoid this, get yourself a good lip balm and apply regularly to moisturize and protect your lips.

3. Nail biting: Nail biting result in ugly hands, fingers and nails due to cuticle biting. It can also result in infections of nails, mouth, finger and dental problems affecting your smile too. Work upon triggers to prevent these issues by yoga, manicure etc.

4. Smoking: Smoking affects your skin making it dry and rough. It decreases the blood flow to the skin and damages your collagen and elastic which result into saggy and loose skin. Quit smoking.

5. Sleeping with makeup on: Make up clog your skin pores and oil glands, making it difficult to breathe and prone to acne. To avoid this, spare sometime before going to sleep to cleanse your makeup and moisturize the skin well.

6. Ignoring the sunscreen: Ignoring sunscreen in summer is exposing your skin to UV rays. UV rays cause wrinkles and dry your skin giving you the older look. To protect your skin from UV rays, use sunscreen before half n hour of going out.

7. Inadequate sleep: Inadequate sleep releases the stress hormone in the body. It also ages your skin by decreasing collagen from skin. Hence try getting enough sleep.

The eruption of pimples, acne, black heads, black spots, scars, pores and oily face are due to excessive sebum secreted by sebaceous glands and hair follicles especially on the face. Precautions- * Don't scratch or pinch your pimples. This will cause more damage---scars and black spots. * Avoid fried and oily foods. * Prefer fruits and green vegetables. * When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. *For your information, many skin creams (mostly fairness cream brands) are considered harmful and banned by Central Govt, Health ministry during March, 2016. The Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) supported the ban. *Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. Blocking pores by creams may cause more pimples. HOMOEOPATHIC medicines are taken internally. Hence, NO DIRECT CONTACT with your delicate and sensitive skin, thereby no problem of skin allergy. Homoeopathy has good treatment without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root of the problem unlike face cream which is a surface treatment. Take Antim crd 200—once daily in the morning.

Hi. Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Use Bakson's Apricot scrub at least once a week and Papaya pack.

I am a 34 years old male & have piles & fissure for last 2 years. What should I do ?

Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered Dietitian (RD), PGDD, Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (B.U.M.S), General Physician
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Mumbai
If your piles produce only mild discomfort, I may suggest over-the-counter creams, ointments, suppositories or pads based on your medical history. These products contain ingredients, that can relieve pain and itching, at least temporarily. Don't use an over-the-counter cream or other product for more than a week unless directed by doctor. These products can cause side effects, such as skin rash, inflammation and skin thinning.

With all its moisturizing action, aloe vera is one of the most effective skin soothing agents. When you rub the gel over an itchy spot, it helps reduce the skin irritation in that area and provides quick relief from itching. Just break a leaf from the plant, cut it lengthwise using a knife and using a spoon, scoop out the jelly-like substance inside. Apply a little of this gel to the itchy area and leave it on for a few minutes.

Whenever I drink alcohol (occasionally 1-2 time per month), after 2-3 hours I find red spots like rashes on my body and it stings so much especially in summer and when my body comes in contact to heat. What is the reason, solution. What should I do? should I quit drinking completely?

Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL), Fellowship in Dermatosurgery
Dermatologist, Belgaum
Sir it probably is urticaria. It may be due to alcohol. It could also be due to the side dishes like peanuts which are eaten along with it. You need to figure it out. When you have the rash take tablet recline 5 mg at bedtime and rantac tablet also. It may cause drowsiness so please avoid handling machinery.

I am having dark circles below my eyes don't suggests to sleep other than tat wat should I do.
Hello, Common reasons for dark circle are aging, genetics, nutritional deficiency (of vitamin A, C, K, E), sleep deprivation, worm-infestation, anemia, smoking & drinking, dehydration, sun exposure, allergies, stress/ tension and hormonal changes. Dark circles are linked to anemia, and liver diseases. So, in case of dark circles which are there due to some underlying cause can be get rid rid of once the causative factor is rectified. But the dark circles which are inherited from our genes can't be removed completely, to some extent can make slightly better. Diet and Management: Always take a balanced diet rich in green leafy vegetable, dairy products and all types of fruits to keep your body healthy. It is advisable to have at least 10-12 glasses of water and include fresh fruit daily. It is also advisable to restrict the intake of caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee, alcohol and other caffeinated drinks as it aggravates dehydration. Take enough of 7-8 hrs. Of sleep. Home Remedies: -To use cucumbers on your eyes, refrigerate a large cucumber until it is very cold, and then cut it into 1⁄2 inch (1.3 cm) slices. Lie down with your head back and place one slice of cucumber over each of your eyes. Let the cucumber sit there for 10-15 minutes, and then remove. -Crush some mint leaves into a paste. Add juice from half of a lemon to the paste. Apply this mixture to the area under your eyes. Leave for 15 minutes, then rinse off with cold water. Repeat this application twice daily. -Pour hot water over two green tea bags and let them steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and place them in the freezer. Remove when the tea bags are very cold. Lie down and press the tea bags onto your eyes. Hold them there for about 15 minutes. Rinse your eyes with cold water and pat dry.
