Kidney stones treatment depends on the types and size of stone, most kidney stones won't require invasive treatment. You may be able to pass a small stone by: drinking water. Drinking as much as 2 to 3 quarts (1.9 to 2.8 liters) a day may help flush out your urinary system. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, drink enough fluid mostly water to produce clear or nearly clear urine. Pain relievers. Passing a small stone can cause some discomfort. To relieve mild pain, according to your medical history I may prescribe pain relievers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen or naproxen sodium. Medical therapy. I am a doctor and renal (kidney) dietitian who will aslo prescribe a customized diet plan and medications to help pass your kidney stone quickly and with less pain. Do reply back for private consultation for a detailed treatment plan including dietary therapy.

Dear Lybrate User, All you need is love and support in life. I think you do not have very happy and satisfying relations with your closed ones. May be your childhood was not very happy. I think, you have a disturbed mind because of which you have lost sleep. When negative feelings do not get a healthy outlet, they get internalised and start affecting our body. We feel hungry and also have good digestion when we are feeling good. Since you are not in a happy state of mind, all your problems are showing up. Please see a Counsellor, who will help you to get out of this negative thoughts. Once your feelings are sorted out, you will start enjoying life. All the best.

Usually breast feeding need not be stopped if the mother is on antibiotics. Also 11 month old baby is already eating from the family pot. So breast milk is more for pacification at night. Do give him 3 major and 2-3 minor meals contain dal, chaval, veges, soups, mashed roti, banana, mango, dahi etc. Proper complementary feeding takes care of 80% dietary requirements.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, you are overweight and need to reduce it. Do brisk walk and exercise. Avoid tea, spicy and fatty meal. Acid suppression medications may help for a while. If symptoms does not improve over few days, get yourself checked my Gastroenterologist. I hope these symptoms are not related to exertions or radiation to left arm. If same is present then ECG and cardiologist opinions is to be taken.
