Hello, Postponement can be practiced from day 22 of your cycle till as long as you wish to delay your menses with progesterone pills. For prescription, you need to contact through paid query.

My girlfriend was suppose to have her periods last month June 24th but till 16/7/2016 she has not got .and secondly she has thyroid problem and she takes 75 mg thyronorm tablet daily. Kindly let us know what might be the problem.

Hi lybrate-user, please get a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. If negative then it could be due to hormonal imbalance or stress. Please check for tsh.

Hii mam gud morning. My gf periods over 30th July I had sex with my gf 31yh july after 1 hr she tool #Unwanted 72 pill then today she told me little bit bleeding came after then bleeding stopped. There is any chance of pregnancy? What should I do mam please reply me.

No already it was in safe period and also she already has took the pill so there are almost no chances of pregnancy.. My personal advise to you is to use condoms... as the pills have many side effects... and you don't want to harm your gf if you care for her..

First thing you should do once you miss your periods is to take pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. If negative, repeat the test in weeks time.

Healthy Meal Ideas To Beat The Summer Heat

When the temperature soars to extremes in the summer, all you want to do is switch on the air conditioner and stake out in a room during the day. Alas! That's not a real world option. In reality, we have to work in the kitchen, step outside to reach office and do our daily chores bearing the heat. In some places, the added humidity becomes an even worse problem with sweat draining us out of our energy. While we can blame it on global warming and other problems, it really isn't going to solve our problem. To do that, we need to look inside and not outside. Nature's bounty is infinite and there are several foods in nature that helps our body stay cool form the inside. That's because nature likes to maintain balance and has all the solutions we need. We only need to look.

Here are a few options on summer friendly meals that can help you beat the heat. 

  1. Summer salads: Fresh and healthy summer salads are one of the sure shot ways to make you feel light and full and keep your body cool while keeping your taste buds super happy. Fill it with the goodness of cucumber, beetroot, cherry tomatoes, carrots and cottage cheese and flavour it with salt, pepper and a dash of homemade cream cheese and pomegranate. We've seen this salad being gobbled up in a record time of 7 seconds. You just have to give it a try. 
  2. Cool drinks: From buttermilk to lemon mint coolers to variants made from fennel seeds (saunf) cooling drinks are a must have in any home. You can stock these up on a Sunday to have them through the week. Also, you can consume many of these with honey instead of added sugar to keep your health and calories in check. 
  3. Fresh fruit salads with ice cream: Fruit salads can actually be a wonderful breakfast or meal option. Using a mix of locally available fresh fruits and topping it with fresh custard or ice cream can be a delightful summer coolant
  4. Summer vegetable saute: Want some freshness on the side. A fresh vegetable saute can just become a full meal. Filled with the goodness of vegetables sauteed in virgin olive oil and very little seasoning, the crunchy texture and colourful mix can work wonders in keeping you healthy during the summer. Try a mix of corn, spicy jalapenos, onions and lettuce and tofu to make it a full meal. 

Summer heat can sometimes really take its toll. Be careful if you experience unusual symptoms like excessive sweating or faintness.

Your developing baby is protected by the amniotic fluid in your uterus, as well as the strong muscles of the uterus itself. Sexual activity won't affect your baby. So it is completely safe to sex during pregnancy.

आजकल की अस्त-व्यस्त जीवनशैली के कारण अनेक पुरुष शुक्राणुओं की कमी की समस्या का सामना कर रहे हैं. साथ हीं उनके शुक्राणुओं ( स्पर्म ) की क्षमता भी कम हो रही है. इसके कारण पुरुषों को पिता बनने में परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है. तो आइए जानते हैं कि आपको अपने शुक्राणुओं की संख्या और क्षमता बढ़ाने के लिए आपको क्या-क्या करना चाहिए और क्या-क्या नहीं करना चाहिए. और हम यह भी जानेंगे कि कौन-कौन सी आदतें अपनाकर आप इस समस्या से बच सकते हैं.

स्पर्म काउंट बढ़ाने और शुक्राणुओं की गुणवत्ता बरकरार रखने के टिप्स :
 

  • शराब और सिगरेट न पिएँ. ये आपकी सेक्स क्षमता को बुरी तरह करेंगे.
  • हर दिन व्यायाम करें. ज्यादा भारी-भरकम व्यायाम करने से बचें.
  • अपने शरीर का वजन संतुलित रखें. आपका वजन न तो बहुत अधिक होना चाहिए और न बहुत कम.
  • स्‍टीम बाथ से बचें.
  • लैपटॉप का उपयोग अपनी जांघ पर रखकर न करें.
  • मोबाइल को हमेशा अपने पैंट के पॉकेट में न रखें.
  • रात में जींस पहनकर न सोएँ, इसके बदले आपको रात में सोते समय पायजामा ( Trousers ) पहनना चाहिए.
  • कसी हुई अंडरवियर न पहनें.
  • रात में सोने से पहले अंडरवियर खोल लें, केवल पायजामा पहनकर सोएँ.
  • अत्यधिक लूब्रकन्ट का उपयोग न करें.
  • ज्यादा कॉफी न पिएँ.
  • हर दिन दो अन्डे खाएँ.
  • रोज लहसून की 3-4 कलियाँ खाएँ.
  • हर दिन 75 ग्राम अखरोट खाने से स्पर्म काउंट बढ़ती है.
  • गाजर का जूस नियमित रूप से पीने से शुक्राणुओं की संख्या बढ़ती है.
  • हर दिन एक ग्लास अनार का जूस पीने से भी शुक्राणुओं की संख्या बढ़ती है.
  • हर दिन टमाटर खाना भी आपके लिए फायदेमंद रहेगा.
  • लगातार पालक साग खाने से भी स्पर्म काउंट बढ़ता है.
  • डब्बाबंद खाना, खाना बंद करें.
  • सोया मिल्क का सेवन न करें, ये शुक्राणुओं को नुकसान पहुँचाता है.
  • ज्यादा कोल्ड ड्रिंक्स का सेवन न करें, ऐसा करना भी नुकसानदायक है.
  • घोंघा का मांस खाने से स्पर्म काउंट चमत्कारी ढंग से बढ़ता है.
  • केले का नियमित सेवन भी स्पर्म काउंट बढ़ाता है.
  • हर दिन अपने भोजन में थोड़ी मात्रा में कद्दू के बीज को शामिल करें, यह भी आपको लाभ पहुँचायेगा.
