Apple is a miracle fruit for the skin. The alpha hydroxy acids or AHA’s present in apples improves skin color and elasticity of the skin.Soak peeled apple slices in milk for 20 minutes and then blend to form a creamy paste.Place in the freezer for 10 minutes, and then mix a tsp of lemon juice, apply all over your face and neck.Rinse off after 15 minutes with cool water and massage an ice cube. The skin looks baby soft, smooth with a rosy white glow.Follow this for a week to get fair skin naturally. or All the natural ingredients (Tretinoin, Hydroquinone and Cortisone) inlcuded in Melamet have only one goal: to improve your skin tone. Tretinoin helps prevent and treat acne and wrinkles by peeling off dead skin cells. Hydroquinone is the skin lightener agent in this equation that improves the overall tone of your skin. Cortisone is an anti-allergy ingredient that reduces inflammation and/or itching.' How to Use: Use the Melamet Cream just before bedtime. Wash it off in the morning, and apply some sunscreen if you intend to go outdoors. Failure to do so will cause significant damage and even result in your skin turning black.

Hi one of the simplest and most effective ways to induce sleep is to rub some oil on the scalp and the soles of the feet before going to bed. Use sesame oil, brahmi oil, jasmine oil, or coconut oil and massage gently for a few minutes. Slightly warming the oil before applying is helpful. Put 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep.

Hello Sudhanshu, First of all Skin therapy is a very broad term and many treatments are included in Skin therapy. However I would like to tell you that both pimples and sun burn can be treated with medicines and creams. If you can send a picture of your face, I will be able to suggest the most appropriate medication for you. Medicines will also be cost effective than other therapies like Laser or chemical peeling.

Amazing Herbs That Keep your Skin Healthy and Glowing

Amazing Herbs That Keep your Skin Healthy and Glowing

Summer's scorching heat can burn skin and one can keep skin healthy with Ayurveda. The powerful rays of the sun leads to severe sunburn, rashes, irritation, redness and acne outbreaks. As per Ayurveda, one need to use the right herbs and Ayurvedic remedies to ensure the skin remains healthy in the scorching heat along with proper diet and routine planning.

According to Ayurveda, there are seven layers in skin and doshas vitiating one or more of these layers, gives rise to different skin diseases. The depth of the vitiation determines the seriousness as well as the prognostic value of the disease.

  1. Acne and pimples are encountered the first layer of skin Avabhasini
  2. Moles dark circles and black pigmentation denotes issues pertaining to the second layer Lohita
  3. Eczema and allergic rashes determine the vitiation in the third layer Shweta
  4. Serious skin diseases like chronic eczemas, psoriasis etc normally affect the fourth layer Tamra
  5. Herpes and painful blisters are seen the fifth layer Vedini
  6. Cancers, Elephantiasis and other Tumors affects the sixth layer of skin Rohini
  7. Fistula and Abscess affects the seventh and the last layer Mamsadhara

Skin derives its nutrition from blood, which is often vitiated by Pitta dosha mainly due to improper diet and exposure to the Sun and to harsh chemicals. So external treatment needs to be complemented well by using internal medicines which identify the source of the pathogenesis and then devise the treatment If the skin in unhealthy, then no amount of bleaching and facial massage or application of makeup can hide the shallow look.

Skin is also the largest organ of the body and it is exposed to the external environment. Sun, Cold, Heat, UV light, Chemicals, Fumes constantly attack the same from outside and improper diet, vitiated doshas and blood attack it from inside. Thus, it needs a treatment and constant care from both the sides. Skin also retains water and is a largest excretory organ excreting sweat so there is need to moisturise and cleanse it regularly.

Aloe Vera gels, and other body lotions help the skin to regain its hydration. Soaps, chemical agents like bleaches, makeup just enhance the looks temporarily but these things in a long run damage the skin. One must switch over to mild cleansers or herbal decoctions and powders to prevent drying of skin.

Regular application of face packs composing of turmeric, sandalwood, tulsi and multani mitti are helpful. The skin should be cleansed properly using rose water. Air pollutants like smoke and dirt clog the pores of the skin and cause pre-aging of skin, eczema and allergies. This can be prevented by applying a good herbal moisturiser which act as a barrier between the skin and pollutants.

For wrinkles, papaya pulp can be massaged gently which helps reduce the collagen built up. Unhealthy dietary habits and stressful lifestyles results in Pitta and vata aggravation leading to diminished glow of skin, dark circles, wrinkles and acne.

Ayurveda recommends that by establishing a regular bedtime, morning routine and regular exercise improves the circulation of blood and ensures that your vital body organs get ample Oxygen. Oily and spicy foods, tobacco, drugs and alcohol aggravate Pitta dosha.

There are deep rooted causes to most skin problems and the use of local creams or antibiotics can only cover the symptoms and give temporary relief. Ayurvedic therapy comprising the right diet, lifestyle and specialized herbal formulations is the easiest way to eliminate such diseases from their roots. So, for glowing skin all summer, adopt Ayurveda therapy today.

Hii, as you are suffering from psoriasis. Psoriasis is a manageable disease, generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurvedic external application give very quick results with sun exposure in clearing the scales and internal treatment does not allow the disease to re appear. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk helps in psoriasis patients. Red meat, alcohol n stress should be avoided in psoriasis.

With all its moisturizing action, aloe vera is one of the most effective skin soothing agents. When you rub the gel over an itchy spot, it helps reduce the skin irritation in that area and provides quick relief from itching. Just break a leaf from the plant, cut it lengthwise using a knife and using a spoon, scoop out the jelly-like substance inside. Apply a little of this gel to the itchy area and leave it on for a few minutes.

Just as your overall health will benefit from eating a balanced diet, so too should the health of your hair. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, so don’t put foods in your body that speed up hair loss. You may be experiencing a thinning on top already, but you can counteract this (or at least slow it down) by eating from every food group daily -- concentrating on foods that are rich in protein, iron, silica, and zinc.

Dark spots, patches and other marks on the face may be due to excess secretion of melanin on the skin. It is important that you address the root cause of the problem. The leading cause of dark spots on face is sun damage. If you are often exposed to the sun and you do not have any form of protection against it, you are inviting damage to your skin. Dark spots on face can also be due to genetics, stress, and improper skin care. Take homeopathic treatment for dark spots on skin. Along with follow this tips - * Do not exfoliate skin if you have an open wounds, lesions. * Protect your skin from sun's harmful ultraviolet rays by applying sunscreen lotion. * Drink plenty of water and keep your body hydrated. * Take a balanced and healthy diet which contains essential vitamins and minerals to maintain healthy skin. * Apply a good moisturizer regularly on your skin to prevent dryness. Hair fall, dandruff and tendency for gray hair are dependent on several factors. From stress anaemia to thyroid We have good treatment in homeopathy without causing any side effects. Homoeo medicines are given internally to restore healthy growth of hair and prevent hair fall. precautions for care of your hair -take nutritious healthy high protin food -have regular vigorous physical exercise so that blood circulation reaches hair follicles and nourishes the hair. -avoid mental stress and smoking and such unhealthy habits. -use warm or cold water for bath and not very hot water. - hard water is harmful. Boiling and cooling will reduce hardness. - when the hair is wet, it is weaker and don't rub too much with towel. - use wide toothed comb so that there is no pulling pressure on the hair.

Homoeopathic treatment HAIR SERUM ( WOLFE DIETRI) Apply on hairs 2 hour before bath twice a week JABORANDI OIL ( WHEEZAL) Apply twice weekly esp. in the hair roots ,leave overnight and wash with a good shampoo Report after 2 months Omega-3 Fatty Acids Good for more than your brain, omega-3 fatty acids nourish your whole body. The essential nutrient reaches both the hair shaft and the cell membranes in your scalp, nourishing the follicles and promoting healthy hair growth, Plus, they add elasticity to your hair, preventing it from breaking off and ending up in your shower drain. But get this—the body can't produce omega 3-fatty acids on its own; whatever you eat is what your body gets. So dig in! The foods to eat: Flaxseeds, walnuts, salmon, tuna, kale, Brussels sprouts, rapeseed oil. Zinc Boosting tissue growth and repair, zinc helps keep your scalp and hair stay healthy. It also regulates hormones (testosterone included) in the body and helps maintain production of oil-secreting glands on the scalp that help your hair grow. There's no need to go overboard, though. High levels of testosterone are actually linked to hair loss, 11 mg a day is all you need. While it's not proven your body will go on a T rampage if you consume too much zinc, there's no need to tempt hair follicle fate. The foods to eat: Chickpeas, wheat germ, oysters, beef, veal liver, roast beef. Protein Your hair is pretty much pure protein. So if you don't eat enough for both your muscles and hair, you'll have bulging biceps—but a bald head. And even if you do hang onto your hair, eating too little protein can turn it gray. Eat a diet rich in high-quality, naturally occurring protein. Wait, you're a veg or a vegan? No worries. As any good meatless eater knows, protein abounds in more than just animal sources. The foods to eat: Greek yogurt, egg yolks, kale, peanuts, beans, peas, lentils, tofu, chicken, turkey. Iron When it comes to healthy circulation, eating enough iron is clutch. Iron helps deliver blood to the body's cells. Neglect the nutrient and your blood can't carry enough oxygen to your scalp for good hair growth. Many doctors have seen a correlation between treatment for iron-deficient anemia and an increase in hair growth. The foods to eat: Dark leafy greens, whole grains, beans, red meat, turkey, egg yolks, clams, mussels, oysters. Vitamins A and C Both vitamins contribute to the production of sebum, the oily substance that your hair follicles spit out. Nature's hair conditioner, it keeps your hair from breaking off. Plus, vitamin C increases the amount of blood-boosting iron that your body can put to use. While some vitamin A is good for your scalp, more than 15,000 IU a day can actually spur hair loss The recommended daily allowance of the vitamin for men is 5,000 IU a day. The foods to eat: Swiss chard, spinach, broccoli, sweet potatoes, pumpkin. Magnesium Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body and is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions—hair growth included. Magnesium deficiencies have been linked to hair loss in both men and women. The foods to eat: Almonds, spinach, cashews, lentils, brown rice, halibut. Selenium A trace element that helps the body make selenoproteins, which regulate reproduction, metabolism, DNA synthesis, and immunity, selenium also stimulates hair follicles to encourage new growth. Scrimp on selenium and your body will churn out way too much selenoproteins, leading to hair follicle abnormalities, reduced growth, and hair loss.
