Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Sir im 19 as far as I concerned my growth its ok. Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Lie down on bed on your back without pillow. Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

I have a regular pain behind my heels. Whenever I walk continuously the pain goes away but once I take a break, And then start walking again I feel pain on back of my heels which do not let me walk properly for few minutes (5-20 min). When I press on it I can feel pain in my heel bone that is at back side of my heel. Please tell me why it is happening? And suggest me what could I do for this?

This condition is known as heel or calcaneum spur. Contrast bath faradic under pressure ultrasonic therapy and lesser therapy part of physiotherapy will give you permanent relief. And you can also use heel cushion in your shoes.

I have severe arthritis. N so hv terrible insomnia. I do not want steroids for this. Now I am on secondary stage. Its unbearable. Now continuously hv knee pain. M flares also frequently. Please suggest me diet and non steroidal tabs if there are so. And so I am addicted to benadryl from last 3 yrs. Is there any side effects if I intake so long. I also suffering from hyper tension.

Dear friend in such type situation if it's chronic one. Better get done a mri screening of dorsolumber spine region. So exact reason can be established. Asking from unauthorized source can badly affect your life. Because you are younger one.

You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your back pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias ( electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold). Ankle stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation.

My wife often complains pain in her elbows and knee joints. I had her ASO test done and the result was 1050 IU/ml. She is 28. Her parents and one of her sibling have history of joint pain, rheumatism. My wife has not taken any kind of medication or therapy regarding this in her life. Please help.

Please dont treat her for rheumatic heart disease. Aso is a misused test and patients are treated long term for no reasons. If she has pain and swelling in the elbow and knee joints, I would suggest you visit a rheumatologist and get it sorted out. Dont go on pencillin.

My dad is having cervical myelopathy, neurogenic bladder, severe constipation, are on catheter, numbness in arms and other problems. And also now they are in severe depression and tried to attempt suicide 2 times. What to do? Doctors said operate for cervical but dad fear from operate, and also mentally he can't able to think about it. They only talk about their present problems and wanna have suicide. What to do doctors? Clinical depression in any neurological patient is common. Since your father tried to attempt suicide also, it is severe depression. He needs antidepressant treatment. It will take around 3 weeks for him to improve and agree for surgery. The surgeons will wait since they want your dad to improve after operation. With depression even after operation, the improvement will be slow. Please request your neurosurgeon only to find a psychiatrist for your dad at the earliest. Otherwise you can also find one in online site. Please don't leave him alone at any time. Remove all objects which he can take to attempt like tablets, knife, etc.

I am 30 years old, my left leg was fractured at ankle joint two years before. Now it swells & pain regularly please give me the solution.

Pain& swelling in leg is a common after fracture rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do ankle/foot & toe exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.
