It is quite normal for some men to have bumps on the shaft of the penis and/or at the base of the penis head. However, it is important to keep in mind that various sexually transmitted diseases can cause changes to the appearance of your penis. That is why it is best to have them evaluated by a doctor to rule out any STD. A common type of STD that presents as small bumps and is sometimes mistaken for pimples is genital herpes. Herpes lesions can appear on the shaft of the penis as round blisters with clear fluid that sit on top of a red base. When the blisters break, they usually cause quite painful sores or have a burning sensation. Another common cause of pimple-like bumps on the penis is genital warts (HPV). They are transmitted sexually and usually painless but can be painful depending on the size and anatomic location. You can only be diagnosed after your doctor examines your bumps closely and gets a detailed history. After a physical examination, these STDs are typically confirmed with a swap test. If a STD has been ruled out, you probably don't need toworry about your pimple-like bumps. The most common tiny bumps circling the neck or middle area of the penis that can either be white, pink, or sometimes red are known as pearly penile papules. They may also be another harmless condition known as Fordyce's spots. These Fordyce's spots usually appear as numerous small pale or white bumps under the skin. Or, they may be just pimples, which do occur from time to time on the penis. Again, I advise speaking with a doctor. Only your doctor can distinguish the different types of penis bumps. Only then you can be diagnosed and treated.

Do you take vitamins?
Do you think taking supplements increases weight?

Myths and facts about vitamin supplementation!

Misconceptions about vitamins and their proper functions are understandable. Let's clear up some of these misconceptions:

Myth: vitamins give you" energy" and" pep.
Fact: vitamins yield no calories. They provide no extra pep or vitality beyond normal expectations, nor do they provide unusual levels of well -being.

Myth: timing of vitamin is crucial.
Fact: there is no medical or scientific basis for this contention.

Myth: some people need very high intake of vitamins to be healthy.
Fact: a multitude of studies have shown that it is rare for anyone to need amounts higher than the rda.

Myth: vitamin supplements are necessary because today the soil is so depleted.
Fact: crops can't grow in depleted soil. If a nutrient is low, the yield will be low, but the vitamin content will be normal.

Myth: the more vitamin the better.
Fact: taking excess vitamins is a complete waste, both in money and effect. Infact, excess amounts of any several different vitamins can be harmful.

Myth: you cannot get enough vitamins from the conventional foods you eat.
Fact: anyone who eats a reasonably varied diet that includes animal products should normally not need supplemental vitamins.

Myth: vitamin supplements are needed to protect against harmful chemicals and pollution.
Fact: vitamin supplements do not have special abilities to ward off harmful agents.

I had intercourse with my husband on 16th april. And I finished my periods on 5th april. After intercourse I feel symptoms like- upset stomach. Pain in legs. Although we used condom while intercourse and it was of only 5 to 10 min. So is there a chance of pregnancy.

LCPS, BAM&S
General Physician, Pune
Between 11th day and 18th day of beginning of bleeding, chances of conception are highest. Since you were using good quality of condom, then nothing to worry. But go for intrauterine devise like loop which gives 100% protection and worry free sex life.

Few things related to headache so that we can plan the treatment accordingly - if pain is associated with blurred or decreased vision than check your eye sight for refractive error - if the pain is associated with cold and fever than we have to rule out sinusitis as the cause and if the pain is pulsatile in nature and with a throbbing pain usually with an aura than we have to rule out migrane as the cause - if the pain is associated with neck problems than we have to rule out cervical spondylosis as the cause - if the pain is associated with either low or high bp or due to hyperacidity than we have to treat the cause after examination.
