Hello, You can take phytolacca berry tablets (wsi), 2 tablets with warm water, three times a day, half an hour before meals. Take 1 glass of luke warm water with lemon juice and honey in the morning for 15 days in a month. Take 1 cup of green tea in the evening daily.

Hello,take homoeopathic medicines 1.Thuja 1M (4 drops in little water) only one dose (on 1st day) After that ( on 2nd day) 2.Baryta Carb 200 (4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days. Asthma is thought to be caused by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Medication: Bronchitis/ Asthma can be treated with homoeopathic medicines completely, only need to be regular with the medication and avoid those foods/ things to which you are allergic to for the time being. This is regurgitation, not vomiting. Its normal after each feeding. Burp properly after feeding. No need for any medicine. Distended stomach is due to excessive gas passed by baby. Its normal.

5 great tips for getting rid of winter phlegm

We all hate having snotty noses, sore throats, and winter bugs that inevitably get into our systems, as the weather turns colder, but have you ever considered that there might be easy ways to clear up all the phlegm that’s obstructing your airways and making life uncomfortable? worry no more – here are five solutions for you to get rid of any offending mucus build-up in your airways as soon as possible:

 

1. Spice up your diet

 

Adding spices to your diet doesn’t only boost your immune system – it also helps your body with clearing out all the nasty stuff, not least any congestion in your nasal passages in your lungs. Add small amounts of garlic, oregano, turmeric, onions, and ginger, to your regular diet. Seeing as christmas is just around the corner, you can also try spicing some apple sauce with cloves, nutmeg or cinnamon.

All the foods i’ve just mentioned contain strong antibacterial properties, which help keep the winter bugs well away. If you have children, you might want to consider temporarily cutting out dairy from their diet and giving them multivitamins or immune boosters for a few days until the phlegm clears up.

2. Sleep well

 

Note that a blocked nose is always much worse at night-time, making it difficult to breathe and causing you to snore. Consider a saline spray and/or nose aspirators in order to keep your airways clear of phlegm. Another soothing way of clearing your airways is to inhale steam from a bowl of boiling water. You could even add a warm bath at the end of the day to your routine if you find that you’re consistently congested.

 

3. Get loads of fresh air

 

The colder air of the winter months tends to make all of us spend a lot more time indoors, but the reality is that for the sake of our health, we still need to ensure we get enough fresh air. Regardless of how cold it is outside, you’ll be fine if you wrap up in suitably warm clothing. In fact, taking a brisk walk is one of the best ways of drying out mucus and phlegm.

Fresh air opens up your lungs and increases blood flow, and this means that any bugs lurking in your system can be flushed out much more quickly than if you were to spend nine hours a day indoors.

4. Keep your bowels moving!

 

Many people don’t actually realize this, but constipation can hinder your immune function, thus leaving you more susceptible to illness. The usual cause of a sluggish digestive system is food stagnating in the intestines, which in turn can lead to toxic build-up, poor elimination and increased mucus formation.

These symptoms can be alleviated by drinking more water and eating foods which contain plenty of natural fiber, such as seasonal greens and fresh fruit.

 

 

5. Make your own phlegm-busting cordial

 

Here's how:

1. Place a few sprigs of thyme in a teapot.

2. Add a pint of boiling water.

3. Throw in a few sticks of cinnamon bark and several slices of freshly-chopped ginger.

4. Leave to infuse for about 10-15 minutes.

5. Once the water has cooled, strain and mix with a jar of good-quality honey.

6. Add roughly half a bag of brown sugar.

7. Heat the mixture in a saucepan until it begins to thicken.

8. Leave the resulting syrup to cool and store in the refrigerator.

Take a teaspoon of this syrup every morning, or add it to warm water infused with lemon juice for a delicious bedtime drink.

Hi lybrate-user, Eat more quality calories: While traditional advice encourages you to take in cheap and easy carbs and calories, the food that those calories come from has impact beyond just their caloric value. Different foods contain different nutrients, antioxidants, and types of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats that have different characteristic and different effects on hormones and processes in your body. Gaining quality weight is a slow process. I don’t want to add an insane number of calories from the start, as this will just result in excessive fat gain—clearly not the kind of weight you want to put on your frame. Instead add just 300 calories to your daily intake and increase from there. Three hundred calories might not do it for you, you might need 600 or maybe even 900 extra calories per day, but start at 300 calories and move up to 600 calories after two weeks if you aren’t gaining weight.

I don't understand the masala smoking bit. Whoever it is, this much is clear, whoever has the smoking habit has to want to stop the habit himself, first. Anybody else that wants to stop someone else’s habit, even if you use force, cannot succeed in the long run until the person himself wants to stop it. Now the person will want to stop the habit as soon as he has ‘Hit Rock Bottom’ when he is really ready to give it up and wants help and support. You can keep encouraging and warning him about the damage he is causing to himself and that the effects may be visible much later. Initially he needs to meet with a counselor who will encourage him to give up the habit by pointing out the imminence of ‘Hitting Rock Bottom’, and some responsive candidates respond with a serious motivation. Once that has been achieved he can be taken for detoxification either to a hospital or to a rehabilitation center and he can then follow their schedule for complete cessation. If it is not too serious, he can cope with counseling itself to sufficiently give it up. If you want to help him you can keep the following considerations in mind: The habit can be very difficult to halt because of the many conditions attached to smoking. In fact these conditions can exist all through the day unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing in the habit. The information is really scary. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. at least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest. All the damage you incurred earlier because of the smoking can be reverted back to normal in quick time. If these suggestions are still difficult because you are a chain smoker, I suggest you admit yourself for detoxification in a hospital for two weeks or in a center for 6 months and through their program it will become a lot easier.

Is your hair loss accompanied with greying of hair and have they become very thin? your hair needs a very high protein well-rounded diet. Hair and nails are the last organs to get nutrition in the body, hence only if all the organs get sufficient nutrition and proteins, only then the remaining nutrition would be used for hairs. A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a registered dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet excessive stress, current/past dandruff and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. I may also prescribe medications like biotin or minox. That are proven to help in hairgrowth and repair I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. Dear lybrate user, you may be suffering from a clinical condition called phimosis. The most conventional method to get rid of it is surgery. However, if you are unwilling to undergo surgery then you can try the following process at home. 1) buy any local anaesthetic gel (e. G. Lidocaine, lignocaine, xylocaine) from allopathic retail shop. 2) apply a little amount of that anaesthetic gel at the lower part of the prepuce of penis where the foreskin remains attached. 3) after application of the gel, retract the foreskin backwards as far as you can. Due to the anaesthetic property of the gel you will be able to retract the foreskin backwards to some extent more than you can do in normal condition. 4) release the foreskin when you feel pain 5) again repeat the same process. Do it continuously for at least 30 minutes in a day. Within a month you will feel that your foreskin has become loose.

Hi apply ketoconazole lotion on your scalp...Apply maha bhringraj oil on your scalp and massage then give hot water fomentation..1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep....take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day...take lots of proteins like soyabean...egg white.....etc...avoid tea...coffee...spicy food...fermented food...junk food....apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp....do pranayama early morning......
