Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

Home Remedy- 1-Boil 1 ripe banana in 1 cup of milk, mash well. Take 3-4 times a day. 2-Make an ointment by mixing an equal amount of powdered long pepper and turmeric with milk (preferably cow’s milk). Apply this on the external piles. Treatment- 1-Take arshantak vati 1-1 twice a day with warm water. 2-take pranacharya pilescure capsule 1-1 twice a day. 3-Pranacharya abhayarishta 2-2 tsf twice a day. 4-apply pranacharya pilescure ointment on anal region. 5-if motions are not clear then take pranacharya virechan churna 1 tsf in warm water before night. Diet-take fresh buttermilk early morning. Avoid spicy food. Junk food. Fermented food. Tea.coffee. Take slitz bath.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Ankle stretching. Ankle strengthening exercises. Avoid squatting. Quadriceps exercises. Core strenthening exercises. Stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation.

It might be because of your work but you need to go for diagnosis first. As for your posture you need to sit straight on chair, your leg should not hang, adjust hight of chair and your work table level should be correct with respect to your eyes.

I did a little workout and squats. My thighs are paining badly and I am unable to walk and use stairs. The pain is getting worse. I also have vitamin d and calcium deficiency. Is this pain normal or there is some injury?

Hii Looks like it is muscle soreness which is quite common after strenous exercises. It takes 24-72 hrs to resolve. You can apply ice or warm water for pain relief. Tender coconut water will help. Never increase your workout all of a sudden. Progress slowly over weeks. Do proper warm up and stretches before exercise and cool down after exercise to prevent developing soreness. Have sufficient fluids.

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment 2. Learn spinal and knee exercises 3. Don't sit on floor. 4. Apply volini cream before sleeping 5. Don't lift heavy things 6. Wear lumber spine belt if pain in back 7. Wear knee cap if pain in knee 8. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month

I am a student and I have been giving a lot of sitting for my exams from the past 2 months And from a month I have met with certain pain in my ankles that just comes up abruptly and then stops Even some calf, back and thigh aches. I have hurt my back once before so maybe it is because of the previous injury. Idk if it is normal to happen But i dont wanna take any risk! Thank you

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Frozen Shoulder Tips
FROZEN SHOULDER

Also known as Adhesive causalities and Periarthritis.
A stiff, painful shoulder with progressive limitation of movement. Sign and symptoms begin gradually, worsen over time.
Usually occurs on one side. Sometimes it can spread to the other shoulder. Some idiopathic facts for frozen shoulder-It happens mostly to people aged in 40’s,50’s and 60’s.
Women get their frozen shoulder much more commonly than men.
Causes-We can classify in two groups
1) Primary-No significant reason for pain and stiffness.
2) Secondary- may be due to synovitis, rupture of the capsule, subacromial bursitis or a lesion in the muscle complex round the joint particularly in the supraspinatus. There may be history of trauma, your arm in a sling for long time immobilized in a specific position for a prolonged period.
Other ailments are-Heart or lung problems can be linked to cause shoulder pain. Cardiac surgery has sometimes lead to
frozen shoulder. Lung problems like tuberculosis or tumor. Diabetes is a common associated condition with frozen shoulder
Symptoms-Symptoms are variable depending on the cause. Pain is the usual presenting feature and may be accompanied by muscle spasm and limitation of movement. The onset can be acute. When the condition is sub acute or chronic, pain and stiffness are most marked after a period of inactivity and may be eased by moderate exercise. Tender areas may be present. Pain often worst at night and when lying on the affected side. Patient has difficulty with normal daily tasks such as dressing, preparing food, carrying bags and working. Muscle wastage may be evident due to lack of use. According to ayuveda- frozen shoulder is known as Ababahuka. Ayurvedda described-80 Types of Vata nanatamaja roja (caused by vitiation of vata dosha). Ababahuka is also a vata nanatmaja roga. Vitiated vata dosha absorbs the fluid (kapha) of the joint cause to Ababahuka.
Treatment-It is essential to carry out a careful clinical examination as many diseases of diverse origin frequently present with musculoskeletal symptoms.

Anti-inflammatory drugs.
Injection of steroid into the joint to reduce inflammation
Nerve block a short term pain relief option
Surgery if the above fails

Ayurveda treatment- If frozen shoulder caused by secondary group than the other ailments- the Panchkarma and Kerala therapy is very effective. The aim of the Ayurveda treatment is to bring vitiated vata in equilibrium.
Most popular kerala therapy is pizhichil means squeezing of medicated oil with the help of cotton cloth all over the body with full concentration on shoulder along with different stroke of massage. It is a process of fomentation, highly effective for treating diseases caused by vitiation of vata dosha. Duration of treatment varies according to the severity of symptoms of the patient.
Elakizhi- Special herbal pack massage withPizhichil gives strength to the muscle and improves the mobility of shoulder joint.
Nasyam –popular panch karma therapy for all urdhvajatrugata roga, It is a powerful rejuvenating therapy.

Requirement of Therapy -7,14,21 days therapy course depending on the severity of symptoms along with oral medicines for 3-4months.

It can be due dehydration or deficiency of calcium and d3. Learn calf and hamstring streching by physiotherapist . keep yourself hydrated. add dairy products in your diet including egg.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Hamstring stretching towel hamstring stretch lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated hamstring stretch while sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds repeat 3 times for each leg.

I have pain on my right shoulder intermittently. Especially when I carry weight on that side or do checking of books for few hours. I got dry needling done for the same. That has given me relief but mild pain is there on and off on doing these activities. Please guide, so that it goes away completely. Thanks.

Take some rest, avoid prolong standing, running, hot fomentation, gentle active stretching of quadriceps, hams. Please notice if you feel frequent pain in back too or wt portion of thigh is aching.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.
