One must regularly do physical exercises, like abdominal crunches, sit-ups, swimming, etc. Which tone the underlying muscles and remove the ugly stretch marks. Here are some exercises, which are beneficial to remove stretch marks:------------------------ •For Stretch Marks on Stomach: You are required to lie down flat on your back. Now, bend your knees keeping the feet flat on the floor. Keep your hands on the sides of your head. Now, lift your upper body somewhat off the floor, contracting your abs.------------------------- - For best results, practise 20 lifts thrice a week------------ Apart from natural home remedies, various other simple options are also available to remove stretch marks. They are as follows:------------------- •Use oats as a natural scrub on the stretch marks.---------------------- •Use Vaseline on the stretch marks.---------------- •For itchy stretch marks, take a warm shower followed by a gentle oil massage.-------------------- •Folic acid is also effective for healing the stretch marks-------------------------- •Use a moisturizer on the affected area.---------------------- Useful Tips----------------------- •Consume protein, zinc and Vitamin C rich foods in abundance. Green salad, milk, fish, nuts and citrus fruits help a lot in diminishing stretch marks.-------------------- •Do yoga and other physical exercises on the regular basis.-------------- •Don’t scratch the affected area.------------------ •Keep your skin moisturized.--------------------- HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINE------------------------------ SILICEA PENTARKAN (Wilmar Schwabe India) Chew 2 tab 3 times daily for 3 months----------------------

My mother (45 years old) has thyroid problem. Yesterday she had a test for it. In report, T3 and T4 levels are fairly normal and close to low side but within the acceptable range. But TSH level is high upto 13.83 where its acceptable range given in report is 0.35 - 5.50. Can anyone suggest me a good cure in this regard? What should be done now?

Mr. Lybrate-user, she has developed hypothyroidism, which needs to be treated with taking thyroxine tablets regularly and that too for lifetime. There is no cure in this situation, plus she has to avoid soy beans, soy containing products, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, radish, mustard, peanuts and coffee. Should consume a good deal of green leafy vegetables and salads and fruits. Use whole grain flour for chapati and roti. Avoid refined flour like maida and products made out of it. Exercise regularly to avoid weight gain. Thanks for the question.

You are getting the infection again and again due to some reasons, which you have to figure if are applicable in your case - 1. You may get folliculitis if you have damaged hair follicles. 2. Shaving or wearing clothes that rub the skin can irritate the follicles, which can lead to folliculitis. 3. They also can become blocked or irritated by sweat, machine oils, or makeup. When the follicles are injured, they are more likely to become infected. 4. Have an infected cut, scrape, or surgical wound. The bacteria or fungi can spread to nearby hair follicles. 5. Have a disease such as diabetes that lowers your ability to fight infection. My advise to you - wear lose clothes wash with antibacterial soap daily as soon as you see an infection is developing, apply clotrimazole.

These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine kali brom 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and revert. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines. *clean your skin gently with a mild face wash removing all dirt or make-up. Wash many times a day with plain water. *get an adequate amount of sleep. *avoid touching your face with your hands or try to squeeze pimples, it may leave permanent scars and spread the infection. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *avoid fried and spicy food. *include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *avoid harsh skin products.
