plenty of fibre in your diet, such as fruit and vegetables and wholemeal bread, pasta and rice – adults should aim to eat at least 18g of fibre a day. staying well hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids. not ignoring the urge to pass stools – this can cause your stools to dry out and become harder to pass.

Hello my name is priyanshu I have too many black dots on my faxe please give some solution so that I can remove that....
* Don't scratch or pinch your pimples. This will cause more damage---cause scars, pores and black spots. * Avoid fried and oily foods. * Prefer fruits and green vegetables. * When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. *For your information, many skin creams (mostly fairness cream brands) are considered harmful and banned by Central Govt, Health ministry during March, 2016. The Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) supported the ban. *Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. Blocking pores by creams may cause more pimples. HOMOEOPATHIC medicines are taken internally. Hence, NO DIRECT CONTACT with your delicate and sensitive skin, thereby no problem of skin allergy. Homoeopathy has good treatment without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root of the problem unlike face cream which is a surface treatment. Take Antim crd 200—once daily in the morning.

Hi lybrate-user, I would recommend you for glowing skin use a apple, Apple has alpha hydroxy acid. It improves skin colour and elasticity. Soak peeled apple slices in milk for 20 minutes and then blend to form a creamy paste, and then mix a tsp of lemon juice, apply all over your face. Rinse off after 15 minutes with cool water. Or You can also mash a banana and blend it with honey and apply it on your face. Wash it with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. Drink enough water. Citrus fruit juices to make the skin fair and healthy. And also watch your diet, are you taking all the nutrients. If you wants to know more or any medical treatment for that, then contact me again.

Epithelial Ovarian Cancer - 4 Major Signs that Indicate it

MBBS, MD
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Epithelial Ovarian Cancer - 4 Major Signs that Indicate it

Epithelial Ovarian Cancer is a condition in which malignant tumor emerges from the tissue lining in the outer surface of the ovary. Epithelial tumors are usually benign, but this form of malignancy has been found to be the most common type of ovarian cancer. Moreover, it cannot be diagnosed until in its advanced stage. Medical research shows that factors such as multiple pregnancies, delayed childbirth and early menarche seem to raise the risk of ovarian cancer, while dietary and environmental factors also play a significant role in it.

Symptoms
1. A majority of the patients have been observed to have extensive intra-abdominal growth.
2. They may experience discomfort or swelling of the abdominal region.
3. The feeling of being bloated, lack of appetite, unnatural weight alteration, dyspepsia, malaise, and urinary problems are frequently reported symptoms.
4. Patients also experience constipation and other gastrointestinal problems.

Treatment
The first step towards treatment of ovarian cancer is to diagnose the condition. A thorough pelvic examination (consisting of an examination of the vagina, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and cervix) will help to pin point any abnormality of the ovary. If the doctor notes nodularity, firmness or lack of tenderness during the examination, these can be taken as symptoms of malignancy of epithelial ovarian tumors. Ultrasound examination of the abdominal region will also help to locate abnormality in the tissues on the outer surface of the ovary. The next logical step towards treatment is getting a biopsy. During this procedure potentially malignant cells are removed and then diagnosed by a pathologist to conclude if the cells are cancerous or not. The process of removal is known as laparotomy.

Apart from a handful of stage one patients, most women with epithelial ovarian cancer receive chemotherapy. The standard treatment for this type of ovarian cancer is the surgical elimination of tumor. This includes total abdominal hysterectomy, a surgery in which the uterus and cervix is removed through an incision in the abdomen. Post surgical treatment consists of taxane-platinum chemotherapy. Patients with minimal residual cancer undergo external radiation therapy or intraperitoneal chemotherapy (radioactive liquid is channelled into the abdomen with the help of a catheter).

A lot of research has been done in this field and a variety of clinical trials are available for a patient, if he/she wishes to be a part of it. Leading methods are immunotherapy and targeted therapy are also available. Immunotherapy uses the immune system of the patient to battle cancer. Bodily substances or substances created in the lab are used to restore and boost the body’s natural defence mechanisms against cancer. Targeted therapy, on the other hand, uses substances to identify the cancer and attack the malignant cells without jeopardizing non-cancerous cells.

I have large pores in my skin which looks red in colour. Doctor suggested me for laser treatment but I don't want to go for it. Is there any other remedy to treat this.

If your pores are very large, then it may take some time (upto months) to reduce them. First of all, religiously follow the cleaning, toning and moisturising regime. For cleaning use face wash based in glycolic acid, then use a good tea tree toner, apply an oil free cream and finally apply a sunscreen. Use Tea tree toner three times a day. At bedtime, use kojic acid cream on alternate days.

Hello lybrate-user seborrheic dermatitis can be treated with homeopathic medicine but before that we need to take a proper case history to find out the extent and intensity of your disease. Also as it is chronic it will take time to get controlled. Seborrheic dermatitis usually gets worse in summer due to oiliness and sweat but yours is worse in winter so will need to check if it is correctly diagnosed or not. Please avoid oil if your scalp is oily and wash alternate days. For any questions please feel free to contact.

What foods should be eaten for getting a glowing skin? What is the best drink to have first in the morning.

What foods should be eaten for getting a glowing skin? What is the best drink to have first in the morning.
WHAT TO EAT 1. Vitamin C-rich foods, like citrus fruit, strawberries, kiwifruit etc. Vitamin C increases collagen production. Collagen helps keep skin supple and plumps it up, giving smoothness and support. As skin ages, it loses collagen. 2. Omega-3 fatty acids – contained in the likes of oily fish such as salmon, flax seed and walnuts. Skin cells are surrounded by a layer of fat and it's important to get enough healthy fats to nourish your cells. Having a diet high in omega-3 fats helps your skin look radiant and adds softness to your complexion. As Lim says: "I know this from first hand experience at university, when we were all part of an experiment and I had to take fish oil capsules everyday for a few weeks." 3. Have foods high in vitamin E like avocado and almonds. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and helps to protect against skin oxidative damage from pollutants and other free radicals. WHAT TO DRINK Sandra Clair is completing a PhD in health science at the University of Canterbury. Dunedin based, she is a highly qualified Swiss-trained medical herbalist and medical anthropologist. She's also behind the well-known traditional medicine company Artemis, which uses medicinal grade herbs for its therapeutic tea blends. Her tips: 1. It's smart to drink nettle (and some fashion models use this trick). It strengthens the "elimination organs" like the kidneys which release toxins from the body. For example, if the kidneys are weak or are over-loaded then they cannot detoxify properly and this can put a burden on the skin to release toxins instead - such as in the form of acne. 2. Drink 2 litres of water daily. We are made up of 75 per cent water and need this hydration for the skin and body. Drinking medicinal teas counts towards this, according to Clair. But coffee, regular teas and soft drinks do not. 3. Drink herbs that are good for the liver like st mary's thistle, globe artichoke, dandelion root, peppermint, fennel and calendula. "Liver detox teas are one of the quickest ways of triggering the elimination processes of fat soluble toxins and improving digestion," Clair says.

Hello, you should go for ultrasonography at good center to rule out internal connection, followed by consultation to surgeon. If only local infection will be there then with medication only you will get relief.
