Hello, Kindly tell me what problem you have because of dust allergy other than nasal blockade like 1. cough 2. sneezing, red eyes 3. Breathing difficulty 4.running nose dust allergy may cause 1. Allergic Bronchitis 2. Allergic cough 3.May be triggering factor of Bronchial asthma If symptoms are sneezing, running nose, blocked nose 1. Take proper rest/ lot of fluids 2. Take proper home made diet. 3. Steam inhalation carefully by steam inhaler twice a day for 2-3 days so you need to consult ENT doctor for proper examination and further management.

Dear your dad's loss of weight without making an effort is worth investigating. To begin with you assess whether his appetite has reduced or his eating has reduced over the past couple of years since when you noticed this weight loss. If eating has reduced or even appetite then it would be worth visiting a doctor. There are a number of tests that can be done initially. You can get a complete work up of his blood sugar levels, complete blood count, hb, lipid profile and of course complete thyroid work up. These can be done by any good diagnostic lab around your locality. Most of the tests would require fasting for 12 hours since previous night dinner. Get these checked and as and what required further your doctor can advise you accordingly.

Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. Simple Knee Exercises would help to strengthen the quadriceps muscle which is the key muscle. Specific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping a soft ball underneath the knee and you have to keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone.

Performing twice of thrice a day is not a standard to be met. Hence if it happens once in a while that you are not able to perform 2nd or 3rd time, it's completely acceptable. If you however face problems in erection or sexual desire or ejaculation before time then consult a psychiatrist and sex counsellor fir medications and counselling. Stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation. For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Yes please show it to a dentist at the earliest as it may cause you severe pain any day. It is possible that the tooth may be saved even at this stage. If you delay further, you may lose the tooth totally and may have to get it extracted. I suggest that you send me the pictures of your affected teeth on private consultation so that I can provide you with more specific answers.

Hi. I am a designer. Recently I had resigned from my job for a personal reason. Since then I sit at home and keep doing different work or keep creating designs and artworks while listening to music. But when I sit idol I start getting this negative vibes .I feel I am good for nothing, I can't achieve things what I want in my life. I have huge big and different dreams to accomplish in my life cause I am blessed with versatile talents. But no one is supportive about it. I feel as if everything is going in vain. I keep thinking about his health and my moms health although she's perfectly fine. I get stressed even if my dad or mom catches normal viral cold or any basic health issues. You could be developing a serious problem if you continue to neglect this condition. Passivity is criminal and it is the devil's workshop to be idle. So get up and do regular exercises, sleep well and eat healthily. In the meantime, it is very important to visit a counselor and get some therapy done. You may get depressed and find it more difficult later. So immediately go and seek some professional help. It is possible that if you are on time that you could manage with counseling alone or else you may have to take medication also.

How to Keep Your Lungs Young

Most of the young people’s lungs get abused early on and age faster due to smoking and pollution they breathe in, at times indirectly through passive smoking. It is important for us to keep our lungs healthy and young because our breathing depends on it.

Adopt following practices to consciously take care of your lungs.

1. Buy houseplants: Plants release oxygen which our lungs thrive on. Staying amidst greenery is the best thing you can do. If you are a city-dweller and do not have many trees around you, plant a few in your own balcony or garden.
2 Avoid jogging or cycling in traffic: Avoid staying anywhere near traffic heavy areas. If you plan to go jogging or cycling, prefer parks. If there are no parks or tracks near your home or work, opt for bylanes as there is lesser pollution.

3. Avoid main roads: Unless you are inside a car where pollution cannot reach you, take the bylanes and avoid main roads. This will save you from breathing in a lot of smog and dust emitted, keeping your lungs healthier.

4. Don't smoke: This doesn't really need to be told. Smoking is injurious to your health and damages your lungs. Being an active smoker or a passive smoker, both are harmful for you.

5. Go out in rain washed weather: The air is clear when it is raining. The dust has settled and the breeze has started blowing. If possible, walk in this time. Make sure you are covered.

6. Cover your nose if around fumes: If you work around fumes and smoke or if you live near factories etc, make sure you cover your nose and take adequate care to avoid inhaling the impure air.

Hello lybrate-user it can be a muscular pain or spondylitis. I would advice you to get an xray done to confirm diagnosis. Til then start analgesics and calcium supplements. Take small pillow under neck up to shoulder region. Start neck exercises.

Hi. There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium can worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Use Bakson's Aloe Vera soap for bathing and Foot cream for your dry foot.

Hi, The most important reason for repeated inguinal hernia is weak abdominal wall. And if you are performing abdominal strengthening exercises or lifting weights then it increases abdominal pressure and causes hernia. If you have chronic cough or constipation then that can also cause hernia and recurrence of hernia.
