I am 42 years. Old. I have backache (from neck to back) since from 1 years. I have taken medicine. Bt it is not working. Please advice. It is giving me very much pain.

Hi if you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia, weakness in limbs etc, my advice is: - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic like diclofenac or something which suits your body for 5-7 days - take muscle relaxant for same time as analgesic to relieve muscle spasm - ice packs at the site of pain, muscle spasm - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know in a week time how you are feeling. I will actually ask you to get x ray of involved region of spine (ap & lateral) and send reports across to me so that I can advise further in a better manner. Due to strain. Rest must do hot fomentations. And apply volini gel if it work then OK otherwise physiotherapy treatment for few day otherwise X-Ray must.

My age is 67, I have continuous pain in both foot since last one year. I have taken different kinds of massages and treatment but it has not helped me. I have tried by dipping my feet in hot water bucket and also tried with foot vibrating machine. All efforts have gone waste. Kindly suggest some remedy for my problem.

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha yograj guggul 1-1 twice a day after lunch and dinner. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Take green vegetables. Drink juice. Eat fruits. Drink 7-8 glass of water in a day. Hi Take a short course of an anti inflammatory medication which suits him, intensive physical therapy and adequate calcium and vitamin d intake. You will have to also consult a general physician regarding his gas formation as it is not linked with your orthopaedic problem.

Uric acid level upto 6 is normal. You dont have to continue Feburic 40 now. If still you are having pain, consult Rheumatologist for advice and treatment

Im 21 years female I joined gym a week ago . I opted for weight reduction regime it included 1 day strengthening which included planks and biceps n triceps and 1 day abs exercises. I did squats and now my legs hands r paining so much. Yesterday n today I dint go to gym. Shall I go tomorrow will pain subside? Wat to do to reduce pain ? Do not stop the weight training. It is natural to have soreness in the muscles when you start weight training and whenever you keep increasing poundages. Drink a lot of water it will reduce the soreness. Exercise should always be a combination of cardio and weight training then you will get your desired results.

Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. Simple Knee Exercises would help to strengthen the quadriceps muscles which is the key muscle. Specific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. If your knee is paining since 2 weeks, then you have to rethink whether you had any injury in the previous years. I also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. It might progress further to develop arthritis as it is very common if anyone would've neglected any injury in the previous years it automatically develops into arthritis.

Do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Ruta 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines. *take rest or move about once in 1-2 hours in case of working in a constant position. *maintain a good posture while reading or working with computers. *take a high fibre content diet like vegetables, fruits, etc.

Could be due to less intake of water. Or menstrual irregularities like profuse bleeding, lack of nutrition in your diet. Try to address these and find out the answer. You are the best to judge the reason. Please take plenty of fluids, healthy diet (fruits, leafy vegetables, a glass of milk daily, high proteins).

Madam there is no such surgery to replace cartilage of knee joint. As per your age I think you are talking about osteoarthritis leading to cartilage destruction. Depending upon the condition of cartilage and the joint there are different modaities of treatment. Ranging from physio therapy to total knee joint replacement. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do streching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief consult physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.
