It is most likely a sinister sign called hematemesis. Even small blood vomit should not be neglected. Drinking alcohol as you say also falls under dependence. Consult a gastro for blood vomit and psychiatrist to stop alcohol. All the best.

Having premature ejaculation problem. Is there any tablets. I need a permanent cure. Pls help me. My age is 25.

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Haldwani
Having premature ejaculation problem. Is there any tablets. I need a permanent cure. Pls help me. My age is 25.
Hello- Premature (early) ejaculation is the most common sexual disorder in men younger than 40 years, with 30-70% of males in India affected to some degree at one time or another. Men generally are used to extensive masturbation in the past which makes orgasm fast during the act, this habit later becomes permanent and present itself as premature ejaculation during sex. Fortunately it can be cured and permanent improvement can be achieved with the help of medicinal treatment and exercise schedule. Since you are still young, I recommend you not to waste your time and money in buying over the counter products and get a proper consultation. Yes you can recover.

Hi. I have eyes problem. My eyes has -20D in two eyes. It problem is natural. But when I am studying in class room on...
Hello, the refractive power in your eyes is quite high. With such high refractive errors, it is bound to cause symptoms of blurring of vision, headache, discomfort, etc. You could consider refractive surgery though I am not sure whether it would be feasible for you or not. Also, even with refractive surgery, it is usually not possible to get rid of the complete error in cases of high refractive errors. Operations done to remove the refractive error (power) of the eyes are known as refractive surgery. There are certain basic criteria that most patients need to fulfill before they can safely undergo refractive surgery. To enumerate, they are: (1) stability of refraction: the power of the eyes should have become stable for a period of 1.5 years minimum without any change. (2) curvature of the cornea should be tested by a technique which is known as topography. (3) thickness of the cornea should be measured by a test known as pachymetry. The minimum thickness required is 550 microns. (4) dilated retina evaluation: this is one of the most important tests that should be performed by a trained retina specialist. This test helps in detection of any offensive lesion on the central or peripheral retina. In case of any retinal abnormality, these should be treated before undergoing the surgery for number reduction. (5) there should be no pre-existent corneal abnormality. (example: corneal scar, opacity, defect, etc.) another important suggestion is that whenever you go for the assessment (the above mentioned tests), you should discontinue the use of contact lenses at least 4 weeks prior to the assessment. The reason for this being that use of contact lens temporarily alters the contour of the cornea. It takes around 3-4 weeks for the restoration of the original corneal contour after removal of the contact lens. Another important point is that you, as a patient, should be compliant to put post operative medication in your eyes for at least 2 months. There is bound to be some discomfort, watering, foreign body sensation, pain after the surgery in most cases-you should be ready to tolerate that. A leave from work for 7-10 days after the surgery should be generally sufficient. Last but not the least, you should set realistic expectations from this surgery. Though extremely rare, there is a remote possibility that the surgery may need to be repeated. Also, the need for subsequent treatment for the eye may be required. Thus, you should be compliant enough to trust and follow your eye specialist. In case you have any other queries, feel free to contact me. Hope my suggestions help you, take care, regards.

High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation, yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. MBBS, MD - Internal Medicine

Dear, great question. First I would like to know why have you asked this question? is it for knowledge or you know someone with myasthenia gravis? if you know someone with myasthenia gravis please remember that we need to be doubly sure about the diagnosis as there are many life threatening conditions that may mimic myasthenia. So now for your answer myasthenia gravis is a rare autoimmune disorder in which your body attacks the junction between your muscle and nerves such that with repeated activity the transmission b from the nerve to the muscles decrease however with adequate rest the muscle strength should come back. This is i'm very simplified terms. I would be. More than happy to elaborate. Hope his helps.

If you haven't tried exercise and strict diet control as yet then be assured that both these measures can control your diabetes. Sadly, though these approaches are the best way to control diabetes but are also the toughest to practise. Its a myth that diabetes medicines once started cant be stopped. Infact its the patient ongoing test reports and conditions which define the need for medicines.

Head ache can be of many reasons and the commonest is visual refractive error of eyes, Checking eyes and correcting errors can cure headaches, similarly the cause can be migraine and tension. Tension relieving methods and migraine medication can sure these. Check your eyes first of all and do a blood CBC & TSH and inform me personally This includes the blood vessels, muscles and nerves of the head and neck. They may also result from changes in chemical activity in the brain. Primary headaches can occur when pain-sensitive structures in the head do not work properly. Common primary headaches include migraines, cluster headaches and tension headaches. Headache is a broad term that encompasses many different things. Headaches are pains that occur in any region of the head; they can occur on both sides the head or be isolated to a certain location. Headaches can radiate across the head from a central point or have a pincering vise-like quality. They can be sharp, throbbing or dull, appear gradually or suddenly and last for multiple days or less than an hour.4 There are multiple ways to define headaches. The International Headache Society (IHS) categorize headaches as primary headaches or secondary headaches, depending on what has caused them 1) Primary headaches Primary headaches are stand-alone illnesses caused directly by the overactivity of, or problems with, structures in the head that are pain-sensitive. This includes the blood vessels, muscles and nerves of the head and neck. They may also result from changes in chemical activity in the brain. Primary headaches can occur when pain-sensitive structures in the head do not work properly. Common primary headaches include migraines, cluster headaches and tension headaches. Some types of headache can be both primary and secondary as they may be an isolated issue or a result of another condition or illness. Such headaches can involve:  Direct physical stimuli, such as temperature and external pressure  Pain over the scalp (epicranial)  Physical exertion  Other miscellaneous headaches. 2) Secondary headaches Secondary headaches are headaches that are symptoms of another condition that stimulates the pain-sensitive nerves of the head. There are a vast number of different conditions that can cause secondary headaches, ranging in severity from an alcohol-induced hangover to a brain tumor. Secondary headaches can be the result of serious conditions such as stroke, but can equally be a consequence of eating cold food too quickly. In addition to those two examples, the following list should serve to illustrate the variety of different conditions that can cause secondary headaches:  Blood clots  Brain freeze (ice cream headaches)  Carbon monoxide poisoning  Concussion  Dehydration  Glaucoma  Influenza  Overuse of pain medication (rebound headaches)  Panic attacks  Stroke. As headaches can be a symptom of a serious condition, it is important to seek medical advice if headaches become more severe, regular or persistent. For example, if the headache is more painful and disruptive than previous headaches, worsens or fails to improve with medication or is accompanied by other symptoms such as confusion, fever, sensory changes and stiffness, a health care provider should be contacted.

BUT I FEEL IT IS LOOSE. BUT DOCTOR SAYS IT IS O.K. & ASKED ME TO REVIEW IT AFTER ONE WEEK. I BELIEVE HIS OPINION IS ONLY TO COVER UP. hi undisplayed fracture has no complications..some surgeons prefer to give a walking plaster with heel...while some advise only strapping of foot in undisplaced fracture.. since it's weight transmitting metatarsal, I would prefer for walking plaster for 4 weeks do not worry if plaster is loose, just refrain from walking for aother 2 to 3 weeks thanks
