My mother is 76 years old. She has severe osteoporosis. Doctors have warned her against falling as then healing would be difficult. Some doctors have prescribed TERIPARATIDE for a year. Some doctors have warned against it. On checking online for the risks involved, she has decided against it. Q. Are there homeopathic or Ayurvedic remedies that will help build bone mass? Q. Are there specialists who will design orthopedic frames and braces for her hip or other parts of her body in order to reduce risk in case of a fall? Q. Is there apparel and footwear to reduce risk available in India or abroad?

OSTEOPOROSIS TREATMENT Hot or cold compresses. Applying heat or cold may help. "Some people like heat, some like cold, Deal says. "Whatever feels best. TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation). A TENS system includes a small, battery-powered machine, connected by wires to a pair of electrodes. The electrodes are connected to your skin near the pain source. A mild electrical current travels through your skin and goes along your nerve fibers. It may reduce pain by changing the way your brain perceives pain, experts say. One session takes about 15 minutes. "TENS is sometimes helpful -- not a game-changer but worth a try, Deal says. Massage. This may give your muscles relief. Get your doctor's approval first, only get massage from a qualified therapist, and make sure the therapist knows about your osteoporosis and your fracture. OSTEOPOROSIS ExerciseExercising regularly builds and strengthens bones. Weight-bearing exercises—where bones and muscles work against gravity—are best. These include aerobics, dancing, jogging, stair climbing, tennis, walking, and lifting weights. People who have osteoporosis may want to attempt gentle exercise, such as walking, rather than jogging or fast-paced aerobics, which increase the chance of falling. Exercising three to four times per week for 20-30 minutes each time helps.

hi...homoepathy is safe and effective. which side heel pain? The plantar fascia is a thick flat band of tissue (ligament) that originate from the heel bone to the base of toes. It supports the arch of your foot. Actually the plantar fasciitis as it is named not an inflammatory condition of plantar fascia.Common homeopathic medicines that help in plantar fascitis are Rhus tox, Ruta,  calc flour, arnica, calcarea carb, silicea, calcarea phos etc. you can consult me online for homoeopathic treatment without side effects.

I am suffering from mild subacromial bursitis. And supraspinatus tendinosis. So which type of treatment I need?

I am suffering from mild subacromial bursitis. And supraspinatus tendinosis. So which type of treatment I need?
First aid for muscle strains Most muscle strains can be successfully treated at home. Minor muscle strains can be treated with rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE). Rest Avoid using your muscle for a few days, especially if movement causes an increase in pain. But too much rest can cause muscles to become weak. This can prolong the healing process. After two days, slowly begin using the affected muscle group, taking care not to overdo it. Ice Apply ice immediately after injuring your muscle. This will minimize swelling. Don’t put ice directly on your skin. Use an ice pack or wrap ice in a towel. Keep the ice on your muscle for about 20 minutes. Repeat every hour on the first day. For the next several days, apply ice every four hours. Compression To reduce swelling, wrap the affected area with an elastic bandage until swelling comes down. Be careful not to wrap the area too tightly. Doing so can reduce your blood circulation. Elevation Whenever possible, keep the injured muscle raised above the level of your heart.
