Why do we have to struggle a lot while some of the peoples get their destination easily?
To choose and to reach a destination, goal, there are many factors at play. Those who reach their goal earlier have their own positive attitude, circumstances, infrastructure and zeal to make it. Those who are slow, are more talented, oriented and possess the required knowledge. Being slow means more talented and capable. Therefore don't worry. Take care.

I am age 23 suffering from pcod problem and irregular periods and so m becoming fat. Can you please suggest some solution.

BAMS
Ayurveda, Ambala
You should treat pcod by these best methods- * get up early in morning and fo meditation regularly. You can do long breaths while closing your eyes in a peaceful environment. You can also do anulom - vilom pranayam at least for 5-8 minutes. It can make your hormone level balanced for regular periods. * avoid taking too much stress. Take a walk for atleast 8-10 minutes daily to calm down stress. * take a balanced nutritious deit with vegetables, fats, protiens and carbs. * avoid high calories food like sweets, fast food, excess milk products. As they make you overweight and make your disease more severe. * you can take dashmoolarisht 2 teaspoons mixed in a glass of water once a day for 2 months atleast. It make your periods regular definitely.

I have an anxiety problem. Get restless at times. Not able to sleep properly. Please advice a good doctor.
Hi One of the simplest and most effective ways to induce sleep is to rub some oil on the scalp and the soles of the feet before going to bed. Use sesame oil, brahmi oil, jasmine oil, or coconut oil and massage gently for a few minutes. Slightly warming the oil before applying is helpful. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Take sarpgandha vati 1-1 tab twice a day. Take pranacharya no tens capsule 1-1 twice a day. Avoid spicy food. Junk food. Fermented food. Tea.coffee. Do pranayama early in the morning.

Hello, take homoeopathic medication - schwabe's bacopa monierri 1x/ thrice daily and kali phos. 6x/ once at night - take them for 4 weeks. Management: there are few yoga poses which helps in calming your mind and relieves stress, but first learn these under a qualified yoga-teacher as many poses are prohibited in certain diseases or medical conditions! exercises: practice shavasana or corpse pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. (the mind and body are deeply connected. If the mind is occupied by thoughts and worries then the shavasana will be unsuccessful. Therefore one has to acquire the stability of the mind along with the stability of the body.) anuloma involves inhaling through both nostrils together and exhaling each breath alternately between the left and right nostrils. The thumb of the right hand is used to manipulate the right nostril, while the pinky and ring finger are used to control the left nostril. There are many other poses of yoga like balasan, setu bandha sarvangasan, uttanasan, garudasan, savasana, triconasana, viprita karani, marjaryasana, dhyana, bhujangasana, anulom-vilum, pranayam, etc. Another stress-buster can be getting involved in any of your hobbies (may be a childhood hobby which you used to enjoy a lot!) - dancing, singing, painting, listening to soothing music, playing musical instruments, etc. (believe me, you would really enjoy doing this alone as well or may be with your friends, kids).

You should be honest to address your problems. That's the only way to be happy. Once you take charge of yourself then you will not fear or feel anxious about anything. It's all about accepting your self as you are ! No one is perfect. So stop comparing, stop worrying about past or future unnecessarily. you need to become wise and use your time very judiciously. So have your priorities. then plan your routine. there is nothing to worry as you are doing your best everyday because now you have learnt to take responsibility. All the best.

Sir I am suffering from tinnitus from three years will you please tell me who it wll be cured and where should I contact.

DORL, MBBS
Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT) Specialist, Faridabad
Tinnitus and vertigo is very common these days in any age group due to excess of noise exposure and damage to inner ear, humming sound, whistling and giddiness are the problems which are getting in people are very common these days, these get complicated when they are not taken care of at proper time whistling or buzzing in the ear is getting commoner these days in people of all ages. Most common causes is wax or any object in the ear, after getting your ears clean these gets over. But if ears are already clean than this is worrisome. Common causes which are responsible are high cholesterol diet, alcohol, smoking, loud noises, cervical spondylosis, trauma (self or inflicted) over the ears. If this is the situation than report to your ent doctor immediately tinnitus is basically due to hampered blood supply to ears due to which ears start dying. As this process starts a person starts hearing noises. When a person starts hearing noises then it is already late diagnosis as these noises gets heard by someone when they are of 40 db intensity, below that threshold these noises are not heard. So it is already to late and the damage has become permanent. Problem with these noises are that we can control at what level person goes to his specialist otherwise these noises keep on increasing and can give you headache frustration and depression. Get ct scan also done.

Tips for Preventing Cold in Children.

MD - Homeopathy, BHMS, N.D.D.Y
Homeopath, Delhi
Tips for Preventing Cold in Children.
As the temperature starts dropping, it is easy to develop a cold due to exposure. Warmer temperatures during the day cause us to walk around wearing inadequate clothing, and when the temperature drops at night, we feel a little chilly, but don't see the need for covering ourselves up - yet. A few days later, when we develop a catch in our throat and pain in our ears, out come the full sleeve shirts and woollens, and into the loft go our sleeveless, skimpy clothes.

This winter, don't wait for your child to fall sick before covering him up. Be smart and work at preventing the common cold, rather than attempting to cure it.

Stepping out with wet hair is a complete no-no. No matter how rushed your child is, when cold winds are blowing the worst thing she can do is step out with wet hair. If she has to leave the house after a hair wash, make sure she blowdries it first. The dryer should be on a warm setting, and not on a hot setting, because a blast of hot air followed by a blast of cold air can also cause your child to develop a chill.

She should never tie up wet or damp hair. This causes hair to dry slowly, with the result that the scalp stays damp longer, and this can very easily lead to your child developing a cold. Your child should only tie her hair when it has completely dried.

Discourage her from washing her hair in the evenings, and if she must wash her hair in the evening, she should stay home and not go out at all. The temperature falls a lot more in the evenings, especially around the time of season-change, only increasing the likelihood of her developing a cold.

If your child is prone to developing a cold, encourage her to wear a hat if you live in a place which gets cold in the winter. Her head should always be kept covered. If your child wears a thick woollen sweater and walks out with her head uncovered, she is more likely to develop a cold than if she wears something full-sleeve with perhaps a woollen vest, and keeps her head covered. Many mothers make the mistake of making their children wear excessively warm clothing if they are prone to developing a cold, while keeping their heads uncovered. With the result that the child will feel warm, but still may not be able to escape getting a cold.

Often wearing layers is more effective than wearing something heavy. It may make sense for your child to wear a cotton t-shirt under a light sweater and a jacket, than a heavy sweater with no jacket. Layers will keep your child's chest better protected. In addition, if your child feels warm he can remove the jacket. The light sweater and t-shirt will provide adequate protection. But if your child has worn a very heavy sweater and removes it when he feels warm, he may feel cold without it on. How many times have we wondered if we should remove a sweater because we are feeling warm, and then feel cold after removing it? remember, when in doubt, put on the sweater. It is always better to feel too warm than too cold.
