Dear lybrate user, red eyes could be because of many reasons but commonly it is due to allergy or infection. You need to visit eye specialist to differentiate between the two as the treatment is different. Also get your eyes checked for any glass power.

Neurology consultation required. Ophthalmoscopy by an eye specialist should be done to rule out papilloedema.

Hi, feel sorry to hear that. Remember everybody has to die, you don't think that you are the only sufferer, everybody suffers in this world. Recently I lost my son in united states, he was 6 feet 1 inch very handsome, died because of sleep apnoea during sleep. You can understand my level of sufferings. So adapt to the day to day circumstances and try to console yourself by answering the questions to yourself. It will take a while till you become normal. Spend good times with your dear ones. Take care.

Hello 1. Some people are sensitive to light but this does not mean that they have eye disease 2. In general photophobia may be present in many disease like cataract, glaucoma, cone dystrophy etc. 3. Consult your local ophthalmologist and rule out any ocular disease.

My son is 3.5 years old, his eye gets reddish and itching when he gets in touch with micro dust while playing or blow micro dust which deposits in computer or windows etc. He keeps rub his eyes badly almost during crying or in normal condition.

According to your description regarding your son this is the sign of allergic conjunctivitis. Generally this is seasonal but in some cases it is associated with nasal allergy, if they use finger in nose and same finger touch the eyes problem is created, some advise regarding this problem 1. Hand wash 5-6 time per day. 2. Avoid cold items. 3. Use black googgle when go outside home. 4. Hot fomentation with turmeric (crude) once daily 5. My recommendations is please do not use any steroid eye drops if advised by any physician. If any query you may feel free to consult.

Hi, the solution to your problem mostly lies in your question itself. You seem to be overly stressed out because of long hours of work on your laptop on a day to day basis, and hence the headache. I would advise you to take regular breaks, relax yourself for sometime and then get back to your work. Remember that de-stressing yourself periodically is not only good for your health but also is essential for you to stay engaged with your work and enjoy the same. Make sure, you take care of your posture and the needful ergonomics while at work. Working on computers/ laptops et al for long hours exposes one to repeated stress related injuries (rsis) and consequently one may land up in headache as well. It is advisable that you get your eyes checked by an eye specialist for sometimes problems with vision lead to headaches too. Taking due care of diet and lifestyle including exercise/ yoga/ meditation on a daily basis shall go a long way in protecting your overall health and fitness levels. Hope this helps.

Ophthalmologist,
Hello. It seems that something went into your eyes while driving. Else you might be having dryness which gets aggravated during driving in dust. If it is better when you are inside then try using systane drops three times a day. Report back if not improved in two three days.

There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is less than 18 years so your number will increase now till 18-20 years of age whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.
