Psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to stressful conditions and irregular life style. We are treating psoriasis using Ayurvedic medicines. Psoriasis has three stages. First stage is when disease remain on skin and there are scaly patches. Second stage comes when there is pitting on nails and in last stage it enter the joints and there is pain in small joints. Generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurveda has got a complete remedy for psoriasis. It is a safer option and can be used for longer duration without any side effects. Ayurvedic external application give very quick results with sun exposure in clearing the scales and internal treatment does not allow the disease to re appear. Psoriasis is a manageable disease and can be managed with ease and effectively using Ayurveda. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk helps in psoriasis patients. Hye. In order to lose weight you must either eat sensibly and exercise to burn off calories. Eat as per the body's needs. Food that is not used to fuel the body is stored as fat. A major component of losing weight is to make smarter food choices. Here's how: limit non-nutritious foods, such as: sugar, honey, syrups and candy, pastries, donuts, pies, cakes and cookies, soft drinks, sweetened juices and alcoholic beverages cut down on high-fat foods by: choosing poultry, fish or lean red meat. Choosing low-fat cooking methods, such as baking, broiling, steaming, grilling and boiling. Avoiding high-fat snacks like chips and chocolate. Avoiding fried foods. Using less margarine and mayonnaise. Avoiding high-fat gravies, cream sauces and cream-based dishes. Eat a variety of foods, including: fruit and vegetables, whole grains, breads, cereal, rice and pasta, dairy products, such as low-fat or non-fat milk or yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese and low-fat cheese, protein-rich foods like chicken, fish, dals and legumes, or beans should be included in your diet. Change your eating habits: eat three balanced meals a day to help control your hunger. Watch portion sizes and eat small servings of a variety of foods. Choose low-calorie snacks. Eat only when you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied. Eat slowly and try not to perform other tasks while eating. Find other activities to distract you from food, such as walking, taking up a hobby or being involved in the community. Include regular exercise in your daily routine. For a more specific personalised routine, you need to take a personalised consultation because that needs looking into your diet history lifestyle medical condition etc.

Get a Serum 25 Hydroxy, Vitamin D test done. If it shows deficiency or insufficiency, you will have to take Vitamin D tablets and oral Calcium supplements which will improve your bone density and strength.

I am 50 years young with type 2 diabetes. I am unable to control my diabetes in spite off regular medicine and regular walks. Please advice any solution o this. Average result is 140 empty stomach and 180 pp.

Eat green veg. More fiber foods. Avoid fatty foods,junk foos,oily meal, drink plenty of water.take digestive meal . Syp. Aristozyme 10 ml thrice a day. Take tab. Charcol at night. Syp . Livoluk 10 ml at night. tests for constipation.. stool c/s, Examination of the rectum and lower, or sigmoid, colon (sigmoidoscopy) Examination of the rectum and entire colon (colonoscopy). An X-ray of the rectum during defecation (defecography). Avoid smoking/alcohol if you take. use anovat cream for pile.

I am 53 year old, have regular interest in sex but since a year or more I have erection problem and premature ejaculation. I am regularly taking losartan-h for high bp and my bp is under control and normally be 128/80. I often take 03 peg liquor (whisky) at night. Please advice, should I take tadalafil and dapoxitinne tablets or some other drug, and its dose. Thank you.

Please don't take it will affect on heart very badly. As ejection problem is concern, some muscle aging is there due to age & bp, drugs which control bp, because blood flow is increased during erection & your bp problem which is managed by tablets can't support this any way. Try cap xilavit twice daily for one month & have sex with a gap of twice a week or so.

Drink 2-3 glass of water in the morning empty stomach, and 3-4 litres of water during the day daily. Walk for minimum 5 minutes. You may also mix two spoons of isabgol in a glass of warm milk and drink it just before you go to bed. It will help. Thank You

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Masturbation is normal and natural and never unhealthy or cause acne or pimples. You don't have to worry on that aspect. Causes of lack of sleep are: • stress • Anxiety • Depression • Pain • irregular schedule of sleep such as sleeping during day time & working during nights. • Caffeine, alcohol • Due to drugs • Due to high blood pressure. • Aging Due to lack of sleep there are many complications arise such as lack of concentration, irritability, fatigue & digestion problem. So these are some instructions & methods for good sleep: • Frequent oil massage of head with oil relax your mind and enhances sleep. You can also do foot massage daily it destress you. • Do not take stress. Do meditation and long breathing pranayams to relax the mind. • Do not take caffeine, tea & alcohol in excess and these are stimulant,(activate) your brain result in lack of sleep. • Avoid drinking alcohol & smoking. • Avoid sleep during day time as it makes it harder to fall asleep at night. •Try to sleep early at night. Do not think during sleep and avoid use of laptop during night. Do exercise and long walk daily. • Avoid to take sleeping pills because these are habit forming drugs and these drugs disturb your normal sleep pattern. • Take a bowl of curd daily in afternoon and one glass of milk at night daily.

I have been smoking from last three years. Now I quit. Do I need to take any medicine or anything else just to be sure that I will not suffer from any health issue. Right now I have a bit cough.

The only thing what I want to add is Vit. A. Some preparations of B complex do contain. e.g. Tab. A to Z May be taken once daily for about 2 to 4 weeks will definitely help better regeneration of airway mucousal lining. Regards

How to decrease or increase hemoglobin from blood please advise:

Haemoglobin cannot be decreased from the body. When there is blood loss f rom the body, haemoglobin level drops. To increase the hb level, you can consume food rich in iron content like palak, drumstick, beetroot, apple, dates, dry grapes, fig, etc. Apart from these, iron supplements can be taken depending on the severity of anaemia. Take protein rich food.

Yes exercise and dietary modification will help controlling your pcos. But if you have a hemorrhagic cyst then need to consult gyne for medication and treatment.

Hi, Recently on 1st Aug'16, I had been been thru angioplasty due to 100% thrombosis in my right artery. Currently I am on blood thinners like Ecosprin & Eliques. I have read that Aspirin derivatives should not be taken for too many years and all life style management methods to be tried to recover from the need of blood thinners. Do not stop ecosprin this most imp medicine do 1.no alcohol 2. Reduce body wt 3. No smoking/ tobacco 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice 5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil massage to get vit d. 9. Take more water for medicine and further advise contact on private chat. With details of med being taken good luck.
