There is evidence that certain dietary supplements and vitamins can help with certain types of pain. Fish oil is often used to reduce pain associated with swelling. Topical capsaicin, derived from chili peppers, may help with arthritis, diabetic nerve pain, and other conditions. There's evidence that glucosamine can help relieve moderate to severe pain from osteoarthritis in the knee. Do reply back for private consultation. And detailed treatment plan.

How To Deal With Phobia Of Genetic Sexual Attraction?

How To Deal With Phobia Of Genetic Sexual Attraction?

In the realm of sexual relations, Incest is one of the longing social taboos. In order to curb this social taboo, many governments have introduced law banning incest. Basically, this is a sexual relationship between those who are blood-related, which is also called as Consanguineous relationship. This is also called as Genetic Sexual Attraction (GSA) which can be between siblings, half siblings, donor children, adoptees, biological mother and father, nephew and so on. This is a social evil, and experts have some remedies so that you can deal with genetic sexual attraction.

Causes:

According to an article published in Spanish Magazine AFIN in July 2013, separation of siblings for quite a long time is one of the known causes for genetic sexual attraction. At the same time, the magazine points out that there are instances that even those who are not separated have this mania of genetic sexual attraction. Some of the other interesting aspects of GSA can be explained as follows:

  1. It is said that children who grow in close proximity since their childhood develop reverse sexual attitude or imprinting with their siblings, parents and with other consanguineous relationships. This reverse sexual attitude actually suppresses sexual desire with consanguineous relationship. This theory is also called as Westermarck Effect. This can be the pointer to the question How to deal with Genetic Sexual Attraction because consanguineous relationship separated for years may not have the Westermarck Effect.

  2. It is pointed out that when siblings who are separated for long duration of time are sexually mature when they meet each other. In other words, they were not members of the nuclear family, and this long absence can attract each other for a closer relationship. In addition to this, the siblings are biologically and mentally so grown up that they have made their own hard imprint of their character, taste and so on. It is a combination of these factors that makes them an exception to the Westermarck effect.

Symptoms of GSA:

Extreme awareness about the other person, hard desire to stay or talk, distractible behavior, unnecessary talking, holding hands or touching or making use of every opportunity to have some kind of physical contact, daydreaming are some of the known symptoms of GSA.

Remedy Available:

One of the ideal remedies for those suffering from GSA is to seek help of appropriate medical fraternity in the earliest possible time. This is one of the most ideal approaches to deal with genetic sexual attraction. It is also suggested that you should ensure that the siblings meet at regular intervals. This can help the siblings to have Westermarck Effect. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Sexologist.

Stroke - Debunking Myths About it

Stroke - Debunking Myths About it

Strokes occur when blood to the brain gets interrupted or reduced. When this occurs, brain cells begin to die as they don't get enough nutrients and oxygen. Such life-threatening episodes can strike you anytime.

Many myths surround this medical condition:

Myth 1: Women don't suffer from strokes

The opposite is true. It is women who suffer strokes more often than men. This is because women tend to live longer than men whose longevity gets affected by heart disease. Since they live longer than men, they tend to be more vulnerable to strokes.

Myth 2: Strokes aren't easy to recognise

Strokes can be easily diagnosed through the face, arm, Speech and Time test (FAST). If you suffer from slurred speech, facial droop or numbness on one side of the body, you're said to suffer from a stroke.

Myth 3: Strokes are a form of heart attack

Although strokes and heart attacks are closely related, they are not the same. In strokes, blood supply to the brain gets interrupted; on the other hand, in heart attacks, blood supply to the heart gets severely affected.

Myth 4: Only older people suffer from strokes

This isn't true young people can experience strokes as well. About a quarter of stroke cases are reported by people aged 65 and below. More importantly, irrespective of the age group, the warning signs are the same; it is only in response that differences can be found between younger and older people.

Myth 5: Strokes can't be prevented

Through changes in your lifestyle, strokes can easily be prevented. You can reduce your chances of getting a stroke by having a balanced diet, exercising, keeping an optimum body weight and limiting alcohol consumption as well as quitting smoking. Moreover, up to 80% stroke cases can be prevented by leading a healthy lifestyle. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a neurologist.

Symptoms Of Angina Pain And Its Treatment!

Angina or angina pectoris is the pain, discomfort or tightness in the chest that occurs when the blood flow to the heart muscle cells is not enough to meet its energy needs. It is not a disease itself but rather a symptom of the coronary heart disease.

What are the different types of angina?

1. Stable angina: It is the commonest form of angina. It can be triggered by stress or physical activity and usually only lasts a few minutes.

2. Unstable angina: It happens when you're resting or aren't very active. The pain is strong and long lasting, and may keep recurring. It may be a signal of an impending heart attack.

3. Variant angina: This might take place when you're asleep or at rest. This sudden tightening or narrowing of the heart's arteries causes a lot of pain.

How u know what your are experiencing is an angina pain?

You might be having angina pain if you suffer from one or more of these symptoms:

- Chest pain
- Heartburn
- Breathlessness
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Restlessness
- Fatigue
- Pain in your arm, neck, jaw and back
- Numbness or loss of feeling in your arms, shoulders or wrists

Immediate Relief from Angina

If previously advised by a certified doctor, patients can take antiplatelet medicines which are blood thinners and prevent unstable angina. Final treatments include angioplasty (repair of a blocked blood vessel through surgery), insertion of a coronary artery stent (a tube that is used to treat weakened arteries) or a heart bypass surgery for serious complications. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Cardiologist.

What can I do to increase my sperm count and improve the quality of my sperms? What are the harms of masturbating?
1. The biggest advantage of homeopathic medicines for low sperm count is that they are natural medicines that help in improving the sperm count as well as sperm quality. These homeopathic medicines  for low sperm count are entirely free from any toxic side-effects. 2. Masturbation twice per week is healthy excess leads to side effects. Some of the after- effects of masturbation are: a. The nervous system is affected the most. B. Besides the heart, the digestive system, the urinary system as well as the other systems are adversely affected and consequently the whole body becomes the museum of diseases with profound weakness. C. The eyes become sunken, the cheek bones protrude and there is a black rim round the eyes. D. Continuous headache and backache. E. Dizziness and loss of memory. F. Palpitation of heart on lightest exertion. G. Nervousness. H. Unable to perform any heavy physical or mental work. I. The person dislikes any company and activities and rather likes to sit in seclusion and suffers from weakness. J. All the senses are impaired. K. Vision becomes dim, the tongue begins to stammer and ears tend to become deaf etc. L. Lastly T.B. Or insanity or some other serious disease catch hold of the victim to lead his life to a close. M. Impotency/ erectile dysfunction / premature ejaculation ,reduced penis size, hardness etc Therefore, young men are advised to consult a qualified and honest homoeopathic practitioner for his expert advice and effective treatment instead of wasting his money with quacks. Further, those young men who are or have been engaged in the regular habits of masturbation should not ignore the necessity to consult the qualified homoeopaths to avoid sexual embarrassment at the time of marriage.

What are the symptoms of ebola and what are the steps should be taken to avoid it?

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
What are the symptoms of ebola and what are the steps should be taken to avoid it?
Over time, symptoms become increasingly severe and may include: nausea and vomiting. Diarrhea (may be bloody) red eyes. Raised rash. Chest pain and cough. Stomach pain. Severe weight loss. Bleeding, usually from the eyes, and bruising (people near death may bleed from other orifices, such as ears, nose and rectum) avoid areas of known outbreaks. Before traveling to africa, find out about current epidemics by checking the centers for disease control and prevention website. Wash your hands frequently. As with other infectious diseases, one of the most important preventive measures is frequent hand-washing. Use soap and water, or use alcohol-based hand rubs containing at least 60 percent alcohol when soap and water aren't available. Avoid bush meat. In developing countries, avoid buying or eating the wild animals, including nonhuman primates, sold in local markets. Avoid contact with infected people. In particular, caregivers should avoid contact with the person's body fluids and tissues, including blood, semen, vaginal secretions and saliva. People with ebola or marburg are most contagious in the later stages of the disease.

Protein Contact Dermatitis - How It Can Be Managed?

MBBS, MD - Dermatology , Venereology & Leprosy, DNB( Dermatology and Venereology), Clinical Observership in Pediatric Dermatology
Dermatologist, Delhi
Protein Contact Dermatitis - How It Can Be Managed?

Protein contact dermatitis (PCD) is an allergic skin reaction caused by proteins of either animal or plant origin. Four types of proteins can cause PCD: plant, animal, flour, and proteolytic chemicals. The risk factors for the improvement of PCD include a family history or general history of atopy, irritant dermatitis, an occupation or side interest, including exposure to one of these protein allergen agents. In PCD, avoiding these particular allergens is very important in order to avoid the reaction. Symptomatic help and relief might be found with transient corticosteroids, immunomodulatory operators, or antihistamines. Inpatient care might be important for PCD patients if the allergy is severe to the point that patients cannot take care of themselves or in the rare case that they encounter angioedema or extreme gastrointestinal problems.

Some short-term treatments may include high-power topical corticosteroids, for example, clobetasol propionate, to diminish the irritation and swelling. Topical tacrolimus 1% ointment might be a decent long-term solution for the allergies. Oral antihistamines might be prescribed also if highly serious allergy takes place. To enhance and improve the treatment of this condition, the initial steps are to recognise and maintain a strategic distance from the dependable allergen. PCD is a chronic procedure that tends to have phases of change during holidays and crumbles when you go back to work.

It is recommended that the patients should wear plastic gloves and try to avoid rubber ones because of the danger of building up a PCD or unfavourably allergic contact dermatitis in addition to this already existing problem. In specific cases, change of patient's occupation is the main compelling measure to understand and manage this skin condition. This is done so that one can determine what element is causing the allergies to take place. Sometimes, certain products are to be avoided so as to determine which out of the daily routine products might be an allergen.

PCD does not necessarily have to end up in a chronic state. Avoiding the causative material more often than not prompts fast mending of the problem. In extreme cases, corticosteroid creams or treatments accelerate the recovery procedure. Symptomatic alleviation might be provided with transient corticosteroids, immunomodulatory specialists, or antihistamines.

Hence, in conditions like protein contact dermatitis, the allergy could also develop in the later stages of life. It is not necessary that the patient be allergic to certain types of foods from their very birth. With changing body schematics, it is possible that the allergy could be developed in later stages of life. Therefore, it is important to keep an eye out for when the allergy occurred so that it is easier for you to determine the allergen behind it. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Dermatologist.
