I have problems in my eyes and consult to so many doctors. But the problem could not be cure. When I use eye drop for some days I get relief. But some times being using the eye drop. My eyes blink continues. And while doing reading or writing it blink more. Some time when I got down from the stairs I feel my eye are closing.

Hello lybrate-user. I think you r suffering from dry eyes. Blink a lot, do cold compresses multiple time, avoid ecposure to direct air and use good quality lubricating eye drops.

I am 18 year old male. I had a very sedentary lifestyle for 2 years till now due to my education and I am overweight. Maybe this will help you explain the following symptoms. I have a pain sensation in my leg extending to the feet. Sometimes it is mostly a little pain sensation or weakness near the knee. Sometimes I have a burning pain in my fingers (not sure if it is finger joints) which grows and suddenly drops and is gone. I have been having a twitching left eye for nearly a week. And also I have problem of acidity mostly after junk and spicy food or if I have an empty stomach. Please tell what possibly could be the problem or is it just because of lifestyle?

This is just because of your lifestyle you are very much overweight first and foremost require the is to cut down on your weight by consuming lesser calories than you burn by the way of exercises etc second thing is empty stomach and junk food both causes acidity so nothing unusual about it you will have yo change all these things eat more fresh vegetables and fruits salads soups and avoid fried spicy and junk food also cut down on consumption of excessive tea coffee and cold drinks di vigorous exercises for atleast one hour every day drink plenty of water and eat smaller meals don't keep your stomach empty for more than three hours make a daily timetable and follow it strictly.

If it is related to computers you might be having computer vision syndrome try this place upper level of monitor below the level of ur eyes blink frequently look at 20 ft for 20 sec after 20min of comp work if not resolved contact eye specialist in ur region

Hello, Include the following for getting better vision: Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. DHA is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing first and reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance. For Dark Circles: Common reasons for dark circle are aging, genetics, nutritional deficiency (of vitamin A, C, K, E), sleep deprivation, worm-infestation, anemia, smoking & drinking, dehydration, sun exposure, allergies, stress/ tension and hormonal changes. Research also suggests that dark circles are linked to anemia, and liver diseases. So, in case of dark circles which are there due to some underlying cause can be get rid rid of once the causative factor is rectified. But the dark circles which are inherited from our genes can't be removed completely, to some extent can make slightly better. Diet and Management: Always take a balanced diet rich in green leafy vegetable, dairy products and all types of fruits to keep your body healthy. It is advisable to have at least 10-12 glasses of water and include fresh fruit daily. It is also advisable to restrict the intake of caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee, alcohol and other caffeinated drinks as it aggravates dehydration. Take enough of 6-8hrs. Of sleep. Avoid taking stress/ tension. Do daily exercising regularly as it increases oxygen carrying capacity of the cells and tissues. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines – Schwabe's Cina 1M/ one dose at night for 10 days; Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. - both twice daily for 20 days.

Today I went to an eye specialist. He told me that I have an eye sight of 0.75 for both eyes. I asked him whether to eat carrot and food that is rich in vitamin A to decrease eye sight naturally without using spectacles. He told me that taking food those are rich in vitamin A will only helps you out of redness in eye, making eye wet etc. Where as eye sight comes from heredity. So we cannot do anything now. Can someone help me out from this? Is there any natural method of decreasing eye sight without using spectacles?(even if the natural method is to follow for 2 years, 3 years or 4 years also I will follow, but suggest me some natural methods)

Hello your doctor is right there is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 21 years so your number will not increase now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

You should check your vision. However you should take vitamin a rich diet like carrot, spinach, papaya, cheese, milk etc regularly.

Get your refraction done and wear spectacles Eat green veggies. Carrots. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. If needed wear corrective spectacles. These r few things you can take care of. Otherwise as such no options available which wd increases your eyesight.

Dear lybrate-user:- as per your stated complaints, you r suffering from keratoconus. If you do not want to lasic laser then contact lens is another options for you. Make urgent appointment privately to you for further clarification of your problems.

Hello white spot in black part (cornea) suggests corneal scar. Corneal scar may impair vision if they are in centre of cornea having said that I would suggest you to consult local ophthalmologist for examination.

I am suffering from eye pain sometimes. I take chapati with butter and jaggery. I am going to read at library at 10am to12pm. In between I am also taking food at1: 30pm. Tea at 3: 30pm. Snakes at 7: 30pm. I am doing exercise every morning for 15-30 min. I took my night food at 12: 15pm. With milk and hochkoch.

I am an eye doctor so I can only give you advice regarding your dark circles you have nutritional deficiency so please start taking a balanced diet. Take small frequent meals which includes fruits, vegetables, proteins, carbohydrates also you can take vitamin supplements along with regarding other problems please consult appropriate physician.

You have not mentioned your age if your age is more than 21 yrs ,your myopic power is not going to increase . Myopic power increases upto 21 yrs of age because body growth in male gets completed by 21 yrs.There is no direct medicine to improve vision but it you can take lots of green vegetables.-3D is considered very normal power, maximum increase in myopic power takes place between 13 yrs to 21yrs in male because maximum body growth takes place between these periods in male.

You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. For a start please follow: 1. Cut down the excess carbs. If you want to lose weight you should start by avoiding sugar and starch (like bread). A low carb diet reduces your hunger and makes it easier to eat less. And it might even increase your fat burning at rest. 2. Don’t skip meals. Skipping meals will not make you lose weight faster. That strategy backfires because your body thinks food is in short supply, so it slows your metabolism in order to conserve energy. Over time, the result is that when you do eat — even if you consume the same foods as always — your body will be slower to use the calories as fuel, thus creating a backlog of unwanted pounds. 3. Stay hydrated. You've heard it before, and you'll hear it again. That's because drinking 64 ounces of water daily is one of the easiest ways to speed up weight loss. Your body needs water in order to efficiently metabolize stored fat. When you shortchange your supply, you're likely to slow down that process, meaning it's more difficult for you to burn calories. An easy eight glasses a day (at least!) will keep your system running smoothly. 4. Start exercising. Strength training builds lean muscle tissue, which burns more calories — at work or at rest — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The more lean muscle you have, the faster you'll slim down. How do you start strength training? Try some push-ups or a few squats or lunges. Use your free weights to perform simple biceps curls or triceps pulls right in your home or office. Do these exercises three to four times per week, and you'll soon see a rapid improvement in your physique. 5. Go for an evening walk. An evening activity may be particularly beneficial because many people's metabolism slows down toward the end of the day. Thirty minutes of aerobic activity before dinner increases your metabolic rate and may keep it elevated for another two or three hours, even after you've stopped moving. What that means for you: Those dinner calories have less of a chance to take up permanent residence on your hips. 6. Take adequate rest. You should also make an effort to get enough good sleep, preferably every night. Strive to wake up refreshed of your own accord, independently of the alarm clock. If you’re the kind of person who always gets brutally woken up by the alarm ringing, you might never be giving your body adequate rest. 7. Supplement vitamins and minerals. Nutrient-dense, good food is certainly the foundation of weight loss. But an adequate amount of vitamin D can be difficult to ingest via food. In the case of a lack of sun (such as during the darker months of autumn and winter), it’s wise to supplement for multiple health reasons – and perhaps even for your weight.

Maintain proper hygiene, take filtered water only. No smoking, no alcohol if any. Avoid outside spicy and fried food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2 hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help chew your food properly at time of lunch and dinner. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach.
