My glasses number don't suit my eyes. I lot of time check my eyes by computerized but number always right. But my one eye always pain. I have used uv glass but pain is continued. Can you tell what should I do?

First and foremost when it comes to refraction till date manual method is still better than computerised method. Get your eyes checked by a doctor who is also good with manual refraction. Pain could be due to other reasons also. I do not think uv protection has any effect on pain.

Helllo 1. Do not worry 2. Lattice signify some weakness of retina 3. In itself it can't damage your vision but yes you are more prone to retinal detachment than other people. 4. Usually we do not treat lattice but if patient insists then we can barrage it with laser.

If you have been prescribed hcqs, then its better to get your visual fields and oct done as a baseline investigation once for your eyes and preserve the report for future. Secondly for the disconfort of your eyes, dryness also can cause this. Use the prescribed lubricant and try to take more of liquid diet.

Most common cause is having a spectacles power. Just get it checked with nearest eye care specialist and if you are a computer user instructions for computer use: take frequent breaks while you are working every 20-25 mins take break to look away from screen blink more frequently' level of screen should be below the level of eyes ac should not blow directly on your face. Also get your eyes checked for any spectacle power.

For computer use: You have something called as computer vision syndrome. So take frequent breaks while you are working Every 20-25 mins take break to look away from screen Blink more frequently' Level of screen should be below the level of eyes Ac should not blow directly on your face. Also get your eyes checked for any spectacle power For mobile use: Here are seven super quick and easy ways to give your eyes a break during your all those smartphone marathon sessions. 1. Blink, blink and blink again. Blinking often (and for more than a second) keeps your eyes moist and reduces dryness and irritation. We tend blink about a third less than we normally would when we stare at our smartphone screens, which starves our poor peepers of protective tears. Keep your eyes wet by blinking about 10 times every 20 minutes or so and you should be good to go. 2. Minimize glare. Unless you have a smartphone equipped with anti-glare Corning Gorilla Glass or use a matte screen protector film, you’re probably coping with a fair amount of annoying reflective glare. 3. Take breaks. Follow 20-20-20 rule. The concept is to take a break from looking at your screen every 20 minutes for 20 seconds while looking at something 20 feet away. Doing so relaxes your eye muscles 4. Adjust your brightness. Having your screen too bright or too dark stresses your eyes out and can cause problems maintaining focus. To eliminate either issue in about a matter of seconds, simply go into your smartphone settings and adjust your screen brightness so it’s about the same as the light level in the environment around you 5. Tweak your text size and contrast. Adjusting your smartphone text contrast and size also provides a little much-needed relief. 6. Keep a clean screen. Routinely wipe down your smartphone screen with a dry (not wet!) cleaning cloth to remove distracting dust, grime, smudges and fingerprints. 7. Hold your smartphone farther away. Try holding yours at least 16 to 18 inches away from your eyes to give your eyes a break.

Perfect diet with exercise. 1- take green vegitable, like spinach, broccoli 2- eat carrot, orange, corn, almond. 3- take vitamin c rich diet. 4- some exercise like blinking, eye boll rotation, up and down viewing can also helpful for reducing eye num. 5- when you reading, try to keep your light source located behind you and keep the light directed on the paper or the task you are working on. 6- avoid watching television or working on the computer in the dark. 7- computers are a major source of eye strain for most people, try to limit your screen time by routinely taking breaks,

For some days I have a pain in the eyes and it became reddish I am having a bad problem of the red eyes. Please make a suggestion for this.

FICO, DNB Ophtalmology

For some days I have a pain in the eyes and it became reddish I am having a bad problem of the red eyes. Please make ...
Redness of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes: (1) allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Allergy usually presents with symptoms of watering (clear water), redness and itching of the eye. (2) infectious conjunctivitis: this is usually associated with white-yellowish discharge. If so, it would be a good idea to go and show to an eye specialist in person. (3) foreign body lodged in the eye. This is more commonly associated with people who drive 2 wheeler vehicles without protection. It occurs more commonly in one eye. Foreign bodies that commonly get lodged are eyelashes, insect wings, small insects, dust particles, iron particles (more common with people working in the iron industry) the solution for a foreign body lodged in the eye would be better provided by an eye specialist at the clinic. (4) raised intraocular pressure: this is a condition known as glaucoma. It is not so common as the previous mentioned conditions. There is usually associated pain in the eyes. It is commonly bilateral (occurs in both eyes). There is usually a positive family history of glaucoma associated in a majority of the cases. (5) inflammation of the coats of the eyeball. This is known as" uveitis" it is also a relatively less common condition. There is associated pain. It would require a thorough eye checkup including the retina-thus a good idea would be to visit the eye specialist in person. (6) increased blood pressure. This has known to cause redness which is also known as sub-conjunctival hemorrhage. In this regard, a complete ophthalmic evaluation and a systemic evaluation is warranted. From the symptoms described by you, it seems more likely to be a case of allergy. Maintaining the precautions and hygiene that I mentioned should probably work well for you. You could also use a lubricant eye drop along with an anti-histamine eye drop. (3-4 times daily) hope my suggestions helped you. Take care.

Depends on company to company and whether you want monthly disposable or daily disposable or yearly disposable. Average monthly disposable would be around 300 per lens per eye. But again highly variable.
