I am 62 years old, male. weight-73 kg. Height.5 ft-6 Inch. For last. 04 months I am suffering from Heavy pains in both knee joint of both Legs. I approached to Orthopedic Doctor .He had taken X-RAY & advised than the distance (Gap) both legs bones has decreased.(Less than std). He had given medicine for 15 days. But this treatment not found suitable. Hence I approached to "Homeopathic Doctor" He gives "Homeopathic medicine" & advised to take for 06 months. This Doctor told me that" Taking this Homeopathic Medicine for .06 Months will deposit Calcium on wearout point of Bones & required gap between two bones will increased" Hence Please. Advised & guide me that above information by "Homeopathic Doctor" is "True" Except above Problem, my health is good in all respect. Please Guide me. Thanking You.

Hello. I understand that your knee pain problem. I advise you to continue woth your current medicines and I would like to suggest doing some knee exercises. They are the best ones for curing your knee pain. As a part of aging, your calcium levels are bound to go down and that is why knee pain is a commn problem. This can be surely cured. Perform the following exercises: 1. Press the knee down under a towel and hold it for 5-10 secs and relax it. You are targeting the main muscle of the knee, quadriceps which usually weakens after pain. DO 10 times on each knee. 2. Press the heels down on the towel and hold it for 5-10 secs. Here you target hamstrings muscle which is at the back of your thighs. These two are the important exercises. 3. Also, move your ankles up and down for 10-20 times. Repeat for 5 times. DO slow and gentle movemnts Remember, the key to get the best result is doing slow and controlled movements so that you specifically target the affected muscles. Feel free to ask more questions. Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hello start physiotherapy treatment and learn posture care/ spine exercise. Meanwhile take few precautions. 1) take hot water fomentation for 20 min. At every 3hrs. Interval. 2) do not lift heavy weights or twist your spine 3) do not wear high heals do not ignore your back pain and do reply for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Best wishes.
