Sugar mixed with water, lemon and honey is a very good home remedy to remove unwanted hair from your body. It acts like wax and is very effective in removing unwanted hair growth on legs and arms. This procedure would be a bit painful as it is more or less similar to waxing and plucking done in beauty parlors. Ingredients and Tools 1 tablespoon of sugar 1 teaspoon of lemon juice 1 teaspoon of organic honey Water (optional to make the paste thinner) Cornstarch or all purpose flour- 1 to 2 teaspoons Piece of cloth or waxing strip Spatula for waxing or butter knife Procedure In a small bowl, take sugar, lemon and honey and mix them well. Heat this mixture for three minutes in a vessel to make it a smooth, free flowing paste. If you find the paste to be a bit thick, add water and mix well. Allow this mixture to cool at room temperature. Clean the body parts where you need to apply this mixture and then dust it with cornstarch or all purpose flour. Use the waxing spatula and apply a generous amount of warm sugar, lemon and honey mixture on the areas where you do not want to see unwanted hair. Apply it in the direction of the hair growth and once done cover it with a cloth or waxing strips and press to make it stick on the paste. Pull the strip in the opposite direction if your hair growth to effectively remove unwanted hair. You can repeat this process whenever you spot unwanted hair growth on your hands or legs.

My hairs getting gray color. I've used almond oil but no result found. Please suggest the best method.
Some more natural tips to follow. Do it daily for a month and see the difference - 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

Hair Transplant and It's Detailed Procedure

Hair Transplant and It's Detailed Procedure

There are 2 types of hair transplant methods, namely, Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT). In the FUE procedure, an incision is made near the hair follicle, after which the follicle is transplanted to the thinning area. Of the two processes, this is the costlier one and also takes a longer time since the procedure is repeated for each hair follicle. The FUT method, on the other hand, involves removing a strip of the outer layer of the skin and then transplanting it into the thinning area.

This procedure is simple and one hardly feels a thing

  1. The Planning Stage: In the planning phase, a surgeon finds out the density, color, quantity and the quality of the donor's hair. The face of the person is closely analyzed before the surgery starts. Every small detail is noted and observed by the doctor in this phase.
  2. Pre-surgery: The patient is required to wash the hair thoroughly with a shampoo one day prior to the surgery. The same process should be repeated with a scrub two hours before the surgery.
  3. Donor preparation: The donor hair is trimmed to 2-3 mm and injected with local anesthesia. The area is then injected with normal saline so that it swells. The patient then becomes ready for the surgery.
  4. Donor tissue removal: The hair tissue from the donor area is now removed one by one. The tissue consists of hair follicles that make transplantation possible. The doctor stitches the area and this stitch is removed after 10 days of surgery.
  5. Graft preparation: The tissue plucked from the donor area is then grouped. Every group consisting of hair follicles are monitored before they go through a lot of procedure. Many follicles are rejected after the procedure and the leftovers are used for replacement. Patients mostly relax during this time.
  6. Graft insertion: Now the recipient area is prepared by injecting local anesthesia. The surgeon goes on to make several incisions in the recipient area. The number of incisions done is equal to the number of follicles available from the donor. This is the most crucial step in the whole procedure. A transplant surgeon is required to focus on minute details such as the depth of incision, the angle of hair, location of placing the new follicles etc. The follicles are placed one by one. This procedure might take hours depending on the number of grafts to be implanted.
  7. Post-surgery procedure: Hair transplant is completed and the patient is sent back home on the same day. Most surgeons abstain from putting any bandage as there is a risk of damaging the draft. Tiny hair stubbles along with the incisions are witnessed after a couple of days from the surgery. The swelling that may result from this procedure quickly heals. You will see new strands of hair within a couple of weeks of the surgery.

I have little deep eyes and dark circles. My dermatologist suggested to go for under eye fillers. Is it good and safe...
Dark circles don't have a one-stop solution or home remedy. Sunken eyes won't respond to creams or medicines. They specifically require filling agents. Also, darkness develops when you rub your eyes, so avoid doing so. Catch at least six hours of sleep everyday. Correct any visual errors with the help of an ophthalmologist. Eat iron rich food. Avoid eye chemicals and hair dyes. Too much time reading, watching television or with the computer can enhance darkness. So cut down on all this.Fillers are completely safe natural products, they are basically sugars, non animal stabilised hyaluronic acid.if done with experienced doctors, there's nothing to worry about.

I am 21years male and have more pimple in my face last 6 months. What should I do?

Hi. Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i. E. Cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Prevention: -Take healthy food only and avoid unhealthy ones (although sebaceous glands are not excretory glands then as well!) as what you eat is reflected on your face! -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension as it encourages secretion of stress hormone in the body as thus affects skin or any other tissue of the body. -Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water in a day. -Take 6-8hrs. Of sound sleep everyday. -Don't use others towels, handkerchief on your face as well as never share yours. -Never ever rub your face as it damages the skin (even towel should be dab on skin softly) and break outs of acne get worsened! -Maintain hygiene, wash your face 2-3times in a day, changes the pillow covers, bed sheet daily, use cotton bed sheet only (try to sleep on your back). Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 30 days.

Is there any cure for Leukoderma, can it be reversed? How can it be prevented? Why does it occur?
Theoretically it seems to be a auto immune disease and hence we can control the symptoms but cure is not guaranteed and daily intake of vitamin B12 and folic acid can also improve the results

Hair loss can have a variety of causes. Typically, you lose your hair because of hormone changes, genetic influences or damage to the hair follicles. Also, a gradual thinning of your hair is a normal part of getting older, as your body sheds hair daily, and your aging body is less able to replace lost hairs. However, if you have poor nutrition -- if you don't get enough iron or protein, for example -- you can lose hair. This can typically be corrected by changing your diet. You may also add zinc and biotin supplements to your regime.Take few sessions of mesotherapy which will stimulate the hair follicles for a new growth.Hair transplant is usually the last option to consider.

Hello I understand that you have itching since 10 days. I would require more details about the site of itching. I would suggest you to consult me privately so that I can be of better help. The common reason for itching during summers is tight clothing and excessive perspiration which increase the growth of fungus in your skin folds. You can wear loose clothing as well as light colored cotton clothing to minimize sweating. Also, taking bath with lukewarm water two times daily would help decrease incidence of fungal infections.

Hello. We can't make the grey hair turn black, but of course, prevent further greying! The causes of premature greying of hair are several. Here we have listed out a few common causes. Heredity is a major reason for hair greying Excessive use of tobacco and smoking Chronic emotional stress or psychological worries Lack of nutrients such as vitamins, iron, copper and iodine in the diet Medical conditions such as anemia, hypothyroidism, tuberous sclerosis or neurofibromatosis Home Remedies: 1. Add the curry leaves to the oil and boil it for 6 to 8 minutes, or till the leaves turn black. Remove from flame and let it cool. Strain the oil in a container and massage your scalp and hair with this oil 3 to 4 times per week before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 2. Turn the fenugreek seeds to a smooth powder and keep aside. Heat the oil and add the amla pieces to it, let it boil for 5 to 6 minutes, add the fenugreek powder to the oil, let it boil for another minute and remove from flame. Let it cool and strain the oil, apply on scalp and hair before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 3. Mix onion and lemon juice in a glass bowl and apply on scalp and hair evenly. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash off with a mild herbal shampoo. Repeat it 4 to 5 times a week for 2 weeks. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Lycopodium 200/ once daily, Acid Phos. 200/ once daily and Weisbaden 200/ twice daily – all of them for 1 month. And a multivitamin - A to Z/ 1 cap. daily once for 1 month (as deficiency of zinc, copper and selenium can also cause premature greying). Use Schwabe's Arnica Shampoo and Hair Growth Oil. Revert me back.
