I am 25 years old male and I am suffering from backache from last 3 weeks. please tell me what should I do?

Doctor Of Physical Therapy (DPT), Bachelor of Physical Therapy
Physiotherapist, Bangalore
I am 25 years old male and I am suffering from backache from last 3 weeks. please tell me what should I do?
Back ache can be due to several reasons. It can be muscular, related to disc degeneration or prolapse, joint irritation or nerve pinching. Most common is muscle pain due to tight and weak back and abdominal muscles. Keep a positive attitude, focus more on keeping good posture especially when sitting for long hours, use lumbar support. Take frequent breaks and stretch in between. Try changing sleeping habits. Stretching and strengthening exercises for low back and abdominal muscles will help reduce pain. Try hot or cold therapy as tolerated. If pain persists consult a physiotherapist specialized in back pain treatment. Good luck for quick recovery.

I have been going through a rough patch lately. I have been masturbating frequently for quite some time now. Now when I masturbate, my left leg goes numb for a few days making it difficult to walk, and my scrotum from underneath the left side starts to hurt. Why is this happening? The leg numbness feels extremely weird, why is this happening?

There is no correlation between masturbation and neurological symptoms. You need to be evaluated in details, so that the condition can be correctly diagnosed and treated. Masturbation is safe and healthy.

Firstly make sure that you are not sleeping on a very thick pillow secondly your mattress in which you are sleeping should not be very soft it should be hard thirdly if you are sleeping in air condition make sure that it's not very cool and do not take direcr air on your body make sure that you are walking at 60 to 90 minutes in a day with the correct walking posture do pranayama regularly specially kapalbhati and alom vilom. There are certain exercises in cervical for which you can take help of a physiotherapist or you can consult me on video, it's a very less known fact but diet plays an important role in your cervical and overall health. Wht is the cure for medial shin splint?
I get acute pain in my muscles while training for cricket because of which im...
Shin splints typically develop after vigrous physical activity. They are often associated with running. Simple measures can relieve the pain of shin splints. Rest, ice, and stretching often help. 1) Rest. Because shin splints are typically caused by overuse, standard treatment includes several weeks of rest from the activity that caused the pain. Lower impact types of aerobic activity can be substituted during your recovery, such as swimming, using a stationary bike, or an elliptical trainer. 2) Ice. Use cold packs for 20 minutes at a time, several times a day. Do not apply ice directly to the skin. 3) Compression. Wearing an elastic compression bandage may prevent additional swelling. 4) Supportive shoes. Wearing shoes with good cushioning during daily activities will help reduce stress in your shins. 5) Flexibility exercises. Stretching your lower leg muscles may make your shins feel better. Very few people need surgery for shin splints. Surgery has been done in very severe cases that do not respond to nonsurgical treatment.
