These are the causes of white hair: • Stress • Due to medicines • Due to malnutrition • Use of chemical products • Due to pollution For prevention from whitening of hairs follow these instructions : • Do not take stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours .Do meditation or long breathing pranayams for 10 minutes daily to destress yourself . • You can apply amla powder , Make the paste of amla powder with water and apply it for 15 minutes once in week in afternoon and rinse it . • Avoid use of excess hair products such as hair colours and try to use mild shampoo . • Add protein containing items in your foods such as take a bowl of cereal daily ,and a glass of milk also .You can eat cheese or soya protein . • Eat healthy fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. • you can use mahabhringraj oil and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily .you can massage daily with oil it increase blood circulation and prevent hair from greying . • Avoid the use of products such as hair colours or excessive shampoo . •In a bowl, mix two eggs, honey and some coconut oil. You can also use olive oil instead of coconut oil. First of all you should take rest for 1-2 days so that your body can fight with underlying infection with its full immunity and start the below medication:- take gelesemium 200, twice daily. Take alpha-cf, 2 tabs, thrice daily with warm water. Take antifebrinum 3x, 2 tabs, thrice daily. Take alfavena malt, 1 tsf, thrice daily. Drink lots of water and take light homemade food like dalia and khichdi, avoid oily, spicy, fried, junk and cold drinks. If fever does not goes then go for a set of blood tests. Hi, I am both a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in losing your weight as well as solve your other health problems through a dietary therapy. Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets availiable online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight loss, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Also the overall objective should not be to drastically reduce weight but doing it gradually and help rebuild body tissues and to maintain ideal body weight. Hi, you will need to visit a dentist. For the tooth decay, they may take an x-ray and see how deep the decay has gone. If it's not too deep, they will suggest a filling. For the yellow colour, you may be advised to practice better oral hygiene or if you are interested and have no other problems, you can get bleaching or teeth whitening done. Arthritis(Joint Pain) ? Ayurvedic View

According to ayurveda there are three doshas- vata, pitta, kapha. When these are in a balanced state we are healthy. Any imbalance in these three doshas leads to diseases in the body.

Vata resides in the colon and colon is therefore primarily responsible for all the vata disorders.

Vata imbalance in the skeletal system (asthi dhatu) causes osteoarthritis.
Vata imbalance with toxins (ama) causes rheumatoid arthritis.
Vata imbalance in blood (rakta dhatu) entering into bony tissue causes gout.

Massage with sesame oil to reduce the vata.

Digestion must be improved so that no further ama is produced. Fasting is very beneficial for digesting the ama. Duration of fasting depends upon the strength of the person, place and season.

Diet-
Consume the foods which are easily digestible and do not make wind or gas.
Vegetable juices and juice of carrot, beetroot and cucumber mixed together is also beneficial.
Green salad, fruits like apples, oranges, grapes and papaya can be taken.
Use of cumin, coriander, ginger, asfoetida, garlic, fennel and turmeric is also helpful.

Dont's-
Avoid eating hot, spicy and fried foods, sweets, wind forming foods like cabbage, cauliflower, spinach and potatoes should be prohibited.
Avoid taking too much tea, coffee, alcohol, white sugar, yogurt, chocolate and cocoa, excessive smoking.
Sleeping during day time, staying up late in the night and mental tensions like worry, anxiety, fear, stress and grief etc, should be given up.

Anxiety disorders are a category of mental disorders characterized by feelings of anxiety and fear, where anxiety is a worry about future events and fear is a reaction to current events. When a person fears about something now (which may or may not happen in the future) and if he do it repeatedly, it is called anxiety disorder. These fear provoking feelings are called anxiety and it may cause variety of physical symptoms, such as a racing heart, restlessness, helplessness and shakiness. Elevated blood pressure is another symptom. But there is nothing to worry. There are a number of anxiety disorders: including generalized anxiety disorder, a specific phobia, social anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, agoraphobia, and panic disorder among others. While each has its own characteristics and symptoms, they all include symptoms of anxiety. I need to know more about your anxiety so that I will be able to diagnose it properly and provide you counseling and psychotherapy to overcome and manage your anxiety. Take care.

Heavy smoking, high fatty foods, repeated fried oils over few years cause block in main arteries supplies heart muscles which then stop function and causes stopping of heart pumping partially or fully.

Seborrheic dermatitis is also called dandruff, seborrheic eczema and seborrheic psoriasis. It isn't contagious, and it's not a sign of poor personal hygiene. Few self-care tips can help you control and manage seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff): Soften and remove scales from your hair. Apply mineral oil or olive oil to your scalp. Leave it in for an hour or so. Then comb or brush your hair and wash it. Wash your skin regularly. Rinse the soap completely off your body and scalp. Avoid harsh soaps and use a moisturizer. Avoid products that contain alcohol. These can cause the disease to flare up. Wear smooth-textured cotton clothing. This helps keep air circulating around your skin and reduces irritation. If you have a beard or mustache, consider shaving it off. Seborrheic dermatitis can be worse under mustaches and beards. If this is the case for you, shaving might ease your symptoms. Avoid scratching. Scratching can increase irritation and your risk of infection. Gently clean your eyelids. If your eyelids show signs of redness or scaling, wash them each night with baby shampoo and wipe away scales with a cotton swab. Warm or hot compresses also may help. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Badiaga 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Anti-Dandruff shampoo and Anti-Dandruff oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, you can take one tablet of multivitamin Folli Hair once daily for 1 month.

While sleeping in night some time my tongue comes between my teeth and a painful situation created and sleep gone to disturbed. I couldn't ascertain the cause of such things it happens occasionally from last 4-5 months.

I am in teaching profession. Teach in school. I can't speak loudly generally after recess or 1 hr of continuous lecture. I don't know the correct reason. During recess I have only tea n some homemade food which is not at all oily. I feel pressure in throat and cannot dictate or explain in loud voice What should be done to overcome this. I feel stress to say a single word loudly. Even the child sitting on third bench cannot hear me.

Hello Doctor. I m 37 yrs. For last 10 months feeling palpitations in my chest and PR going more than 100. So Consulted a cardiologist. Undergone TMT, Holter, ECHO, ECG -All Normal. Then seen a Gastroenterologist-DID my endoscopy for possibility of GARD-Again all normal reports. My BP is constantly at 110/70 and Hemoglobin is 14.2. Cardiologist prescribed me Clonogem-0.25 (for anxiety)

Hello lybrate-user, since you have done the necessary checkup, and things sound normal as of now, then what you can do is: (1) started morning walks (2) start exercising (3) balanced diet (4) lots of water. For the psychological part you can visit a counsellor. Like if there is something which is disturbing you.

It can be just phosphate crystals normally see as reports are normal as you say passing foamy urine now and then is normal, for the speed of urination and other factors can influence this. If you have persistently foamy urine that becomes more noticeable over time. This can be a sign of protein in your urine (proteinuria), which requires further evaluation.

Bad breath can be reduced or prevented if you: - practice good oral hygiene. - brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debris and plaque. - don't forget to brush the tongue, too. - replace your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months or after an illness. - use floss or an interdental cleaner to remove food particles and plaque between teeth once a day. - see your dentist regularly -- at least twice a year. He or she will conduct an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning and will be able to detect and treat periodontal disease, dry mouth, or other problems that may be the cause of bad mouth odor. - drink lots of water. This will keep your mouth moist. - chewing gum (preferably sugarless) stimulates the production of saliva, which helps wash away food particles and bacteria.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash daily use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

I can understand the situation you are in. Since you know yoga, you must be aware what amazing wonders it can do to your body inside out. So practice it everyday without failing. I am outlining a 21 day plan for you. If you follow this plan sincerely then you will see a noticeable difference in just 21 days. There are 6 things that you need to do: 1. Eliminate all refined sugars from your diet. This means no sugar in your tea/coffee/milk, no consumption of sugary beverages like coke, pepsi and total elimination of all snacks like biscuits, cakes, sweet dishes. I know it is difficult but remember that you just have to adhere to this for 21 days. If you wish to snack you can have unsalted peanuts, dry fruits, seeds or yogurt. 2. When you get up in the morning, put your pillow aside and lie with your back straight. Put both your legs together and lift them so your legs are at a 30 degree angle with the bed. Maintain this pose of 5 minutes. Keep breathing while your legs are in the air. 3. Eliminate dinner altogether. In place of dinner have a bowl of papaya. You can have a small bowl of yogurt with black salt if you are not able to control your urge. 4. Keep hydrated through out the day. You need to drink at least 10 glasses of water every day. Tea/coffee are not substitutes of water. Minimize consumption of milk. Add raw vegetables to each meal. 5. One 500mg tablet of calcium d-glucarate and one tablet of b-complex every day. 6.2 sets of 15 squats - twice a day. 2 set of 15 push-ups - twice a day. If you miss even one of the steps mentioned above during your 21 day regime then you have to start all over again from day 1. Please bear in mind that it takes 21 consecutive days of performing all the above mentioned steps for the stomach muscles to start toning up.

Hello,take homeopathic medicines 1. Carbo Veg 200 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for 7 days. 2.Nux Vom 200 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for 7 days and revert. Keep a gap of 15-20 minutes in both the medicines. *If overweight,loose weight. *Make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *Avoid spicy and fried food.
