Dear, Please include a healthy breakfast upon 45 mins of waking. If your breakfast is late, please include a portion of fruit such as apple, papaya or melon first thing in the morning. This will help you kickstart the day well. Include a lot of nuts, seeds, pulses and dhals over carbohydrate rich foods. Also make multigrain rotis and vary your cereals so that you get the benefit from all the cereals. You can include jowar, barley, bajra, wheat, ragi, brown rice flour etc. To ensure you lose weight faster, focus more on the foods that you eat after 5pm. Including natural foods after this time enables a healthy and a quick weight loss. You can add fruits, curd, boiled vegetables, mix veg soups and drink buttermilk for filling. You will be able to sustain with this if you eat a good breakfast and lunch. Ensure you drink at least 3 liters of water everyday. All the best. Thanks Ranjani Raman

It could be due to allergy to citrus fruits and cold liquid. Avoid it. Do an allergy test after consulting Allergist/Immunologist to find out thecause of allergy and follow theadvice and treatment.

My father us suffered from heart attack and all 3 nerves are blocked doctor has done operation (angioplasty) and place stint in the nerve 2 nerves are clear and the 3rd one is blocked and he said to done later But the pain is there in the chest it is because of pumping and beating to bring back his life How to solve it and what food does he take What precautions he have to take ? hello.....if your has same pain like before angioplasty...then need to address this third artery also...if different kind of pain then need to see cause of it... doctor need to monitor his ecg and can step up some medication so he can feel better ... beside this u need to be very regular with medication

The initial choice of treatment is a steroid ointment that is locally applied. (This can be suggested by a doctor after you are examined in person.)The ointment softens the foreskin and is applied for up to 6 weeks. When full retraction is possible the ointment is stopped. If this treatment is unsuccessful, a circumcision (surgical removal of foreskin) may be advised.

Want a Healthy Heart - 11 Foods You Must Have!

While every organ in the body needs to be cared for, the heart assumes a very special place. What is good for the heart can be good for the whole body and the reverse is equally true. The effects of a diet that is unhealthy for the heart is definitely unhealthy for the whole body.
With lifestyle changes like heart disease, diabetes, obesity and stroke are on the rise, the importance of eating a heart healthy diet has assumed all new levels of importance. The following are some of the heart healthy foods that should be a part of everybody’s diet.

  1. Fatty fishes: Salmon, sardines and mackerel are loaded with generous amounts of Omega-3 fatty acids and reduce the risk of arterial plaque buildup. They are also rich in antioxidants. Eating fish at least twice a week is recommended; for non-fish eaters, supplements of Omega-3 fatty acids are recommended.
  2. Oatmeal: Oats again are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, folate and potassium. It is also rich in soluble fibre and is believed to lower bad cholesterol and keep the arteries free of plaque. It soaks up the cholesterol in the digestive system and helps manage cholesterol.
  3. Avocado: This creamy fruit has loads of monounsaturated fat which helps lower the levels of bad cholesterol and improve levels of good cholesterol. They also improve absorption of other carotenoids like lycopene and beta-carotene, which are also extremely heart friendly.
  4. Berries: Blueberries, strawberries, and other berries reduce the risk of heart attack by almost one-third. These are rich in compounds like anthocyanins and flavonoids which are proven antioxidants. They relax the blood vessels and reduce blood pressure and reduce the incidence of heart attacks.
  5. Dark chocolate: Chocolate which contains 60-70% cocoa is rich in polyphenols, which helps blood pressure, clotting, and inflammation.
  6. Olive Oil: Loaded with monounsaturated fats, this helps reduce levels of bad cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. The extra-virgin variety is preferred for cooking in place of regular vegetable oils.
  7. Nuts and seeds: Almonds, walnuts, pistachios, peanuts, and macadamia nuts are packed with mono and polyunsaturated fats, fibre, and vitamin E. Flaxseed is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and can be added to oatmeal or eaten raw.
  8. Soy: Soy products, including tofu and soy milk, are ideal for adding protein and reducing cholesterol and polyunsaturated fats, fibre, vitamins, and minerals.
  9. Legumes: These are high in omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, and soluble fibre.
  10. Spinach: Helps with its rich content of fibre, folate, lutein,and potassium. In fact, most vegetables have a beneficial effect.
  11. Green tea: Rich in antioxidants, it reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke.

I am 23 years male, I am having ruptured eardrum. A big hole in one ear and small in other one due to excessive use of earbuds. One doctor suggested to have surgery and other suggested to wait for 3 months to let the eardrum heal itself. Will waiting cause any long term effect on my hearing power or should I go for Surgery.

It looks like it is phimosis where it's difficult to retract the fore skin of the penis. Please meet urologist or general surgeon who would examine you. You may need small simple procedure of circumcision.

Usually lipomas are not treated with any medicine. It does not harm you. It can be excised surgically.
