All the natural ingredients (Tretinoin, Hydroquinone and Cortisone) inlcuded in Melamet have only one goal: to improve your skin tone. Tretinoin helps prevent and treat acne and wrinkles by peeling off dead skin cells. Hydroquinone is the skin lightener agent in this equation that improves the overall tone of your skin. Cortisone is an anti-allergy ingredient that reduces inflammation and/or itching.' How to Use: Use the Melamet Cream just before bedtime. Wash it off in the morning, and apply some sunscreen if you intend to go outdoors. Failure to do so will cause significant damage and even result in your skin turning black.

Skin Care In Winter - 3 Quick Steps For It!

In the winter months, the weather turns crisp and it takes a substantial toll on your skin. In cold weather, the skin shrinks and exhibits symptoms such as flaking, itching, dryness and scaly patches. It is best that you take a practical approach and take good care of your skin and avoid the impact of the weather on your skin. In certain cases, individuals develop skin conditions such as eczema, cracking and flaking during the winter months.

Moisturize Your Skin
Intensive moisturization is required during the winter months as the skin tends to lose its natural oils. The main reason for loss of oil from the skin is due to indoor heating and severe weather conditions that block the skin of its natural hydration and make it prone to damage. It is very important that the skin is moisturized on a daily basis to maintain the natural oils and avoid the skin from drying out. The benefit of using moisturizer is that it offers safety against severe effects of cold weather and even keeps the skin conditioned. The moisturizer should be applied frequently if the skin is dry.

Keep Your Skin Healthy
The best way to avoid redness or itching of the skin is to keep it healthy. There are certain tips that can be followed to keep the skin moisturized and healthy and these include washing your face in lukewarm water, choose a moisturizer carefully and drink lots of water. Drinking warm water with little lime in it is not only refreshing but also hydrates the skin. The skin gets hydrated very well after a steaming facial or warm shower and it is best that the skin is sealed immediately with a moisturizer rich in emollients.

How to Protect Your Skin During Winter
The best way to protect your skin during the cold weather is to wear scarves and gloves. Gloves and scarves can be used to protect the skin from snow, rain and cold winds. It is best to make use of a sunscreen that contains titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, during winter.

The best skin care for winter, if you have eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis is to avoid irritants, allergens and specifically toxins. You must not wear irritating fibers during winter or make use of detergents that are chemical laden. It is best to make use of moisturizers and mild cleansers that are ideal for sensitive skin.

It is very important that your skin is nurtured all through the year and not only in winter. Taking proper care during winter months by following these tips is essential as these would help attain beautiful and radiant skin.

Rosemary essential oil has been traditionally used to increase circulation to the scalp. Add a few drops per dollop of shampoo or, better yet, add a few drops of rosemary to coconut oil and massage your scalp regularly.

Scratching Your Hair - 4 Ways You Can Control It!

Can scratching your head lead to hair loss? (and how to banish that nagging itch without scratching)

Yes! scratching your head actually leads to hair loss so you should avoid doing it. Scratching your head with your fingernails for as little as 90 minutes is enough to remove all your cuticular scale. A cuticular scale is a protective covering on every individual strand of hair. The loss of this covering leaves your hair shaft weak and damaged and hence leaves your hair susceptible to easy breakage and hair loss.

There are several ways you can deal with itchiness in your scalp that does not include scratching your head. These alternative ways will help ensure you don't suffer from any hair loss.

These include:

  • Instead of scratching, pat or rub the sensitive area with the flat of your fingers.
  • Having a dry scalp can also increase itchiness. It would be a good idea to use natural oil on your hair before you wash it if that's the reason behind your itch.
  • Sensitivity to a new product may be causing a sudden itchiness in your scalp. So, if you have switched to a new shampoo, mousse or anything else, do try abstaining from applying it for a few days to see if the itchiness subsides.
  • When your scalp feels itchy, try and distract yourself. The more you think about how itchy your scalp is, the more it will itch.
  • While scratching your hair does lead to hair loss, the good news is your hair will grow back because the damage is not permanent. However, it is not advisable to keep scratching your head because you'll just lose more hair. Most of all use Homeopathy in order to strengthen hair and to treat underlying cause like dandruff (fungal infection). Homeopathy cures safely and helps in the growth of healthy hair.

A quick and easy solution can be found in your kitchen or your nearest grocery store — lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 1. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 2. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for keep your face dry, wash 4-5 time a day, apply retino-a cream at night and wash your face before sun rise as sun rays can darken your face. at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above.

I am suffering from some allergy. I have shown to doctor he suggested that I am suffering from psoriasis.
Psoriasis is a Chronic condition which has to be kept under control. Just like diabetes can be controlled but you cannot remove diabetes after you have it once. We can treat psoriasis effectively, but we cannot predict recurrences. Some lifestyle modifications and diet changes are also very helpful in reducing recurrences. Please send photos using online consult option for proper examination and treatment advice. I treat psoriasis cases everyday.
