Eye redness is most often due to swollen or dilated blood vessels. This makes the surface of the eye look red .There are many causes of a red eye or eyes like infection, allergy. foreign body in eyes. Some are medical emergencies and some are a cause for concern, but not an emergency. Others are nothing to worry about.Consult ur local eye specilist to see what is the cause

My sugar level is empty stomach 125, and after meal (2 hr) 165, please suggest medicine required or not. I am doing daily exercise approx 45 min. If medicine required then medicine name please. And tell me if take medicine now then have to continue medicine or not required.

Hi drink some bitter gourd juice on an empty stomach each morning. First remove the seeds of two to three bitter gourds and use a juicer to extract the juice. Add some water and then drink it. Follow this treatment daily in the morning for at least two months. Take pranacharya diabeto and shilajeet capsule twice a day with water. Take vasant kusumakar ras twice a day. Avoid sweets. Take small meals in less time interval. Do pranayama early morning. Avoid alcohol consumption.

I have disc degeneration/disc bulgeing problem in cervical spine between c6/c7 from july 14. Now, I am having pain in neck continuously just like a pin penetrate in neck area. Its stops only bed rest for 8 hrs in night and early morning 2 to 4 hrs. Now I am taking medicine as suggested by doctor is moven meloxicam 15 mg 1 time in day and neurochem 1 in night. But as per my exp. My pain intensity get reduced when my head doesn't move much in day hrs. When I try to run slowly, pain intensity increased. Let me know when I will be normal. I have tried pshyotharpy too for 2 days only as my symptoms got worse after it. So immediately stopped. My symptoms history as below. 1. First 3 days just have a head stuck. 2. Then started litte bit pain in neck for 1 week (i assume may be this due to wrong posture during sleep) 3. After 2 week, sudden pointed pain, tingling was observed in my left arm. But occationally. I cant understand what is going on with my left hand. So I first contacted cardiologist to check my heart. But all test was normal. 4. Then I went to neurophysician and said all symptoms he has done ncv test and neck x ray but said all is well. So no prob at my end. Almost 2 month was completed and now my neck pain, tingling in left arm was increasing day to day. From my left hand, I was not able to hold my laptop bag more than 30 sec. It feel more than 100 kg for me I was going for swimming in that days too. 5. Then I went to orthopaedic doc. While just listing my all symptoms he said you must have issue in neck cervical disc. He immediately sent me to mri and my surprize, we really found now prob. There was my pinched nerve. Defination I found on net: when a patient has a symptomatic herniated disc, the disc itself is not painful, but rather the material that is leaking our of the inside of the disc is pinching or irritating a nearby nerve. This type of pathology produces pain called radicular pain (e. G, nerve root pain) leading to pain that may radiate to other parts of the body, such as from the low back down the leg or from the neck down the arm. Leg pain from a pinched nerve is usually described as sciatica. But it may be termed as disc degeneration / disc bulging. Whatever. 5. Now, I am just wearing a neck collar and have that two medicine. Symptoms are reduced 70%. Now no any left arm pain. But only neck pain. What is the best way to get out of this neck pain?

pain is complex, so there are many treatment options medications, therapies, and mind-body techniques. There is evidence that certain dietary supplements and vitamins can help with certain types of pain. Fish oil is often used to reduce pain associated with swelling. A therapeutic diet complemented with few medications for pain management can also work wonders. Do reply back for medications. In the era of fast living, people mostly have a great desire to stay fit and look young. Every one of us consciously or subconsciously has made their own definition of “DIET”. Dieting has led to many unhealthy misconceptions about weight loss. People are, on an average, not aware or one can say largely ignorant about Healthy and Unhealthy foods, quantities to be taken and which food items to be encouraged and which to restrict. All this mainly depends on an individual's state in terms of his/her body structure, metabolism, lifestyles, ailments / diseases. It is good to see, there is tremendous zeal among people to stay fit but for that, there is a requirement to have correct information about fitness methods and its effects and results. With today’s trend of losing weight I have a lot of patients who have the urge to know "Which food items to encourage in the diet and which ones to restrict? Or "What is best suited for me and what is not? Or “what is the ideal weight loss?”. With this article I am trying to cover the most commonly asked questions: Does dieting mean an absolute change in the eating pattern and appear weak and look starved? By dieting everybody obviously means, eating less. This concept should be changed. Dieting actually means eating correctly, large quantities of the right foods and small quantities of the wrong foods. When you eat in this pattern there will be no side effects. It is not completely changing the eating pattern, but a certain addition of foods to nourish bodies so that they are no deficiencies like anemia, and being completely fit, far from being starved and weak. How important is it to exercise for weight loss? Exercise is a fabulous way and meant to relax, tone body and to improve stamina and not exactly lose weight. You might lose few kilos but to get the results it has to be combined with right kind and amount of food. One needs to understand the right kind of exercise depending upon individual’s requirement, i.e. Age, injuries, and lifestyle. Over-exercise which is done to lose weight faster in most cases leads to frustration and injuries. Including the exercise regime is very important and should be done but in moderation and depending on your requirement. Are foods like mint, lemongrass, cumin seed (jeera), harmful for health? Since ancient times foods like jeera, coriander, mint is been used in daily life. Even the health practitioners use garlic and onion to lower the cholesterol, methi seeds and bitter gourd [karela] is used for diabetics. Certain foods act as a “delicious natural capsules” to detoxify, the body, but to understand that the health professional should know the action of the specific food on individuals body as ‘One man’s food can be another man’s poison’ – and effect of food and drug upon the body differ greatly between individuals. How many meals should be eaten in a day? Whether you want to lose weight or not but one should have small and frequent meals to keep up the energy levels. This does not mean that you should keep eating the whole day. One should have 3 major meals i.e. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2small meals i.e. A mid-morning snack and evening snack to keep up your energy levels and to avoid overeating in the major meals. How much weight does an overweight or obese person should lose? It is not always important to be in height weight ratio. The amount of weight loss depends on certain factors like age, body structure, physical activity, illness. This is best decided by the professional. Lose weight to be healthy and disease free and not starved and malnourished. Does weight loss means stop eating and drinking and never getting back to normal life? It’s about your entire food habits, lifestyle, sleeping pattern, vitamin intake that influences your weight, skin, hair, nails etc. Everything in moderation is the key. Hard drinks can be taken 2-3 times a week, if you really must, totaling up to 4-5 drinks in a week. Are there specific foods that help in weight loss? There is no one food that decides weight loss. Losing weight means eating but foods like whole grains, rice, soybeans, fish, milk, curd, and eggs, so that you gain in health and lose in weight. Can the diet which works for one person affect the other person too? There is an ideal diet for a particular type of body constitution. Based on symptoms, your medical problems, your family history of medical problems, your lifestyle, a suitable diet can be designed which will suit your individual needs. The diet has to be designed to increase their energy levels and enhance immunity to handle stress and concentrate better. It is important to first identify body constitution and according to that derive a corrective-eating plan for each individual that covers all meals from morning to bedtime. With the diet, the complaints ranging from chipped nails, dull complexion, dark circles etc. Should vanish, and metabolism and hemoglobin should be improved. Healthy foods lead to sound health and these should be started from childhood. Lack of exercise, indulging in routine consumption of fast foods, etc leads to many health problems. The importance of diet in maintaining health should not be ignored. Since diet played a major role in controlling diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, etc, it is important to take regular diet counseling from a professional who can understand your body and design the right diet for you.

I have lipoma. There are lot in my body and they have been growing through years. Hands. Thighs. Stomach. Chest. These are the places it' s there. I want to get rid of them. If surgery is solution. Can I get it done with out scars. Suggest. I am 26 male.

Lipomas are benign tumours and generally do not cause any harm. If a lipoma is growing in size, has pressure effects, or cosmetically not acceptable the it should be removed. Surgically. They cannot be cured with medicines.

Yesss, smoking creates lots of health problems. If you want to quit your addiction of smoking you need to create motivation in urself that you can stay without smoking. It helps to create your self confidence to quit it. Try to attaind narcotics anonymous meetings. Or you can take help from psychiatrist to deal with your withdrawal symptoms. Use positive substitutes like chewing chocklate, mithi soanf etc. But do not use smoking if you r going through craving. If you have any questions you can ask me anytime. Not to worry, best luck.
