Why my skin is irritating after shower? What should I use to avoid this? Kindly suggest.
Take Shorter Showers Use cool or lukewarm water only while showering or bathing. Limit showers to 10 minutes maximum. Do not bathe more than once a day. Add baby oil or oatmeal soaks to your bath to help relieve itching. Gently pat yourself dry with a towel and avoid vigorous rubbing.

The skin can lose its glow and get dull and discoloured. Sun exposure, chloasma, freckles and scars due to acne are just a few reasons. Although not a life-threatening issue, people with dull and darkened facial skin usually consider it a life-altering one, leading to feelings of inadequacy and decreased self-confidence. This, in most cases, leads to the haphazard use of cosmetics and medicated ointments. However, only temporary results are usually found and in some cases injudicious use of such products may even aggravate the condition. This brings us to the scope of homeopathic treatment in such cases. We can confidently say that homeopathic remedies for clear and glowing skin are totally free from any side effects and are extremely effective in treating this problem. The medicines used are all natural and, thus, free from any harmful components.

I have two question :- (1)-mental tension or fearness during passing hard stool has any contribution for anal fissures occurring because everyone get hard stool at one time in their lifetime but only few get fissures in ano?(2 ):- Why a fully healed fissures easily recur after another hard motion or he is prone to get another fissures even after surgery?

MS - General Surgery
General Physician, Jalandhar
Yes, stress is a known cause of type c Irritable bowel syndrome, which includes constipation as the main complaint. Yes being stressful at time of passing stool, or being in a hurry to get things over with can lead to tears due to sudden passage of stool from an Initially constricted state of the anal sphincter muscles and the inner delicate mucosa layer. Coupled with constipation it can lead to anal fissures. Thirdly, as you must have seen, Bhiman, whenever we're injured, healing takes place by scarring, and nothing can beat the original configuration of the body. So a healed fissure is more likely to recur again. Moreover some people have a genetic predisposition to develop anal fissures, while in rare cases it can be a sign of anal cancers or it can be due to several other reasons. So next time you are sitting on the pot, be calm ad relaxed, give time for your muscles to relax, start including a lot of fiber foods in your diet, drink plenty of water, practice stress management, or visit a therapist. I hope you are helped.

Hello lybrate-user, best soap for bathing depends upon tfm (total fatty matter). Higher the tfm, better is the soap. Therefore, grade 1 soaps are better as they have more than 75% of tfm. Grade 2 and grade 3 has tfm value 70% and 60% respectively.

These are signs of hirsutism. Hirsutism may be idiopathic (or without any known cause), due to hormonal imbalance, pcod or thyroid disorders, medications like topical steroids, etc. Your doctor may advise you to get a hormonal profile done, for proper diagnosis and treatment. Laser hair removal is a good option for long term hair reduction if hormonal imbalance has been treated.
