You need to start psychotherapy and then consistently follow the steps. Slowly soon after sometime, you will find less dependency on drugs. Or medication. This will surely help you become aware of your problems root causes and coping skills will be developed. Take help. Go for paid audio or text consultations.

If years health permits and you are a moderate drinker say 1-2 times in a week and not more than 1-2 pegs it is ok, but if you become dependent on alcohol and can't stay without it, you need intervention.

Dear Haresh, Welcome to lybrate. Social Anxiety disorder treatment consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, life style changes, relaxation therapy and meditation. Once you learn how to manage your anxiety yourself with the help of the above treatment methods, You will be cured. The process is a bit lengthy and could take any period between one year to 2 years according to the depth of the anxiety problem and the circumstances at which the patient lives. Keep the period of treatment in mind, prepare yourself to take up the treatment and consult a psychologist online or in person. Take care.

I am very stressful person I take tension very easily please give some suggestion on this.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician, Alappuzha
I am very stressful person I take tension very easily please give some suggestion on this.
Physical symptoms of stress include: •Low energy. •Headaches. •Upset stomach, including diarrhoea, constipation and nausea. •Aches, pains, and tense muscles. •Chest pain and rapid heartbeat. •Insomnia. •Frequent colds and infections. •Loss of sexual desire and/or ability. STRESS CONTROL There are many ways to tame your stress and keep it at bay. Here are 20 tips to tame your stress today, and keep the stress monsters at bay. 1.Perform diaphragmatic or deep breathing exercises. 2.Lie face down on the floor and begin breathing deeply and slowly, with your hands resting under your face. Do this for five minutes. 3.Sit in a reclining chair. Put a hand on your abdomen and a hand on your chest. As you breathe, make sure the hand on your abdomen is moving up and down rather than one on your chest. If the hand on your abdomen is moving you are breathing deeply and slowly. 4.Try progressive muscle relaxation or “deep muscle” relaxation. Progressively tense and relax each muscle group in your body. Learn the difference between muscle tension and relaxation. 5.Meditate. Use visualization or imagery to help you learn to be one with your thoughts. Sit quietly with your eyes closed, imagining the sights, sounds and smells of your favorite place, such as a beach or mountain retreat. 6.Exercise regularly or take up yoga. 7.Consult a psychologist about the use of biofeedback 8.Make time for music, art or other hobbies that help relax and distract you. 9.Learn to identify and monitor stressors. Come up with an organized plan for handling stressful situations. Be careful not to overgeneralize negative reactions to things. 10.Make a list of the important things you need to handle each day. Try to follow the list so you feel organized and on top of things. Put together a coping plan step by step so you have a sense of mastery. 11.Keep an eye on things that might suggest you’re not coping well. For example, are you smoking or drinking more, or sleeping less? 12.Keep a list of the large and little hassles in your day versus the major stressful events in your life. This helps you focus on the fact that you’re keeping track of and managing those as well as you can. 13.Set aside a time every day to work on relaxation. 14.Avoid using caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, junk food, binge eating and other drugs as your primary means for coping with stress. While they can be helpful once in awhile, using them as your only or usual method will result in longer-term problems, such as weight problems or alcoholism. 15.Learn to just say, “No” occasionally. It won’t hurt other people’s feelings as much as you think and is simply a method to be more assertive in your own life, to better help you meet your own needs. 16.Get the right amount of sleep. For most people, this is seven to nine hours a night. 17.Cultivate a sense of humor; laugh. 18.Research has shown that having a close, confiding relationship protects you from many stresses. 19.Don’t run from your problems! This only makes them worse. 20.Talk to your family and friends. See if they can help. If these tips don’t help, or you’ve tried a lot of them with little luck in better taming the stress in your life, it may be time to consider taking it up a notch. A mental health professional — such as a psychologist — can help teach you more effective methods for handling stress in a healthy way in your life. Such psychotherapy is short-term and time-limited, with a focus on helping you better deal with stress. Remember — we do have control over the stress and choices we make in our lives. It sometimes takes a little practice and effort to put some of these techniques into play in your life. But once you do so, you may be pleasantly surprised at the positive benefits you’ll receive If you need any prescription please consult me as we cannot prescribe in questions session. Regards.

This is related to low confidence and because of performance anxiety etc... These troubles are very nicely recoveredby homoeopathic medicines... and it is not a major issue... just consult a good homoeopath of your choice... and get proper treatment... You could also attend some personality developement classes or seminars...

See the reasons behind you not being happy can be a lot. However we need to differentiate that it's just the low mood you having or you facing depression. It would be better that you consulted a psychiatrist and discuss the problem in detail.

Hi, I am 24 years old, I have too much tension without any reason. What should I do? please help me.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd

Hi, I am 24 years old, I have too much tension without any reason. What should I do? please help me.
It is hardly likely that there is no reason for your tension. If you do not have a conscious reason, then the unconscious mind will have one for sure. If there are reasons buried in your unconscious mind, it is likely that the reasons may have been precipitated from childhood experiences, or a long time ago. The reason you have not been perturbed by it this far is because these may have been suppressed for years, and at an undue moment when stressful factors may have lowered your defenses, it is bound to come up and trouble you. You need to talk to a counselor and that person will help you identify these influences from childhood, and then you could work on them. Any which way, learn about your emotions and learn how to express them appropriately.

Hi Feeling depressed always on my sexual orientation I not want to be gay. I want to be a normal person like my friend's Now talking clonazepam tablet.

Hi Feeling depressed always on my sexual orientation I not want to be gay. I want to be a normal person like my frien...
There are many factors that may have influenced this gay mindset. It could be due to genetic factors; mixed parenting roles between mother and father; an over-bearing father/mother; you may have cultivated the drive when we are all in that phase between 7 years to 14 years when we tend towards homosexual contacts with our peers as a social adaptation; You may have had gay exposure at some time in your life; you may have had too much of male exposure during a considerable part of your life; You could have cultivated more of anima than animus and vice versa depending on the role you have identified with; and it may happen because of some social development when you may have found it easier to relate to boys than to girls. These are some of the reasons that I can think of right now. If you do not like it, don’t just resist it because that will make you want it more. Instead talk to a sexologist and understand these orientations and get some education on sex and sexuality to know what your urges are all about. Then he could propose some measures to take to cultivate your heterosexual drives instead. In the meantime, do spend time with girls and learn to enjoy their company and to respect them overall. If you indulge in the thought of your attraction towards boys it will trouble you no end. Just let it be there but cultivate healthy relationships with them and spend more time in female company. In time you will be able to appreciate your leanings towards girls more. If you wish you may go for hypnotherapy too.
