Gagging it is. Try to keep your head at little down position while brushing. When you look at front or upside while brushing, more chances are there, for the toothpaste or else to go at back and cause gagging. Plus amount of toothpaste you need is of pea size. Avoid excessive usage of that. Try and practise even without toothpaste some other time of the day. If brushing not helping much start with flossing and mouthwash as well.

Some strong layer has been gathered on my teeth. What I have to do for removing it?

Some strong layer has been gathered on my teeth. What I have to do for removing it?
Hello. That strong layer is known as calculus. Plaque or food debris that have been accumulated for a long time become that strong layer. You can get that removed by scaling.

- use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floslybrate-usereyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth. - stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums. - eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque. - try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a" water pick, to clear debris from around the gum line. - you may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser.

Hello, Usually such ulcers heal in 7-10 days. But You can apply dologel-CT gel on that 3-4 times half an hour before meals for 5-7 days. Need to avoid spicy and hot food and have lots of water. You can visit my clinic in case it's not getting better.

Consult a dentist. Being positive this might be a normal ulcer. But if it is long lasting non healing it may be a cause of concern.Sometimes this habits cause reduced mouth opening for which plenty of treatments are available if you have left the habit.Over that a dentist may help you in Tobacco Cessation Therapy also.Stay Healthy.

Consult a dentist, if there is dental decay then get the filling done. You may need an xray and if the decay is deep involving the pulp of the tooth then rct may be required.

I'm having teeth problem from 2 month sensitive teeth it hurt while eating or drinking cold things.

BDS
Dentist, Gurgaon
I'm having teeth problem from 2 month sensitive teeth it hurt while eating or drinking cold things.
Sensitivity toothpaste, which contains strontium chloride or potassium nitrate are very effective in treating sensitive teeth. After a few weeks of use you may notice a decrease in sensitivity. Highly acidic foods such as oranges, grapefruits and lemons, as well as tea and soda can increase tooth sensitivity, and work against any sensitivity toothpaste. If you do not get relief by brushing gently and using a desensitizing toothpaste, see your dentist. There are special compounds that can be applied in office to the roots of your tooth to reduce—if not eliminate—the sensitivity. High-fluoride containing home care products can also be recommended to help reduce tooth sensitivity.
