Patient Review Highlights
Our experience was very good. Dr. Dutta listens to you..she gives ample amount of time and doesnt seems to be rushing at all in comparison to the other doctors we met before her. Also, she is very approachable over the phone as well and the response time is amazing. This is our second pregnancy and the gap is almost 10 years. We were shocked to see that now almost all the doctors gives you a very strong feeling of being commercialised and are ready to send you back even before your consultation begins however meeting Dr. Dutta was such a delight. Plus her knowledge is much better and advanced than many other doctors who would prescribe age old medicines and dosages. Shes a must visit and we would recommend her to everyone. We are sure you would come back with a smile.
I wish we could have more doctors like Dr. Sutopa Banerjee. But unfortunately doctors like her are very rare these days. One can visit her without any confusion and believe me you are in safe hands here. She is an excellent professional and a superb human being. She treats her patients with utmost care and understands each and every problem very patiently. We visited her after one miscarriage and now we are blessed with a beautiful princess. All thanks to her, after God. Unless and until u have some complications, you can always expect normal delivery under her treatment.
I am very much exited to say that Dr. Ambika Dutta is the best Gynecologist, we have ever met. She is very much concerned about each and every patient. Even in case of any urgency, during the pregnancy she is always one call away to answer the queries of patients. She is more than a doctor & highly recommended. Also I would like to mention here that she is very polite in nature, soft spoken & nice human being. Dr. Dutta had treated my wife during pregnancy and we are extremely pleased with her professionalism. Thanks a lot doctor for care & support every time
She is a highly qualified, experienced and sweet doctor. I went there for my mothers laparoscopic hysterectomy and she dealt with it very professionally. Her behaviour with the patients is so good that they feel very comfortable even in critical surgeries. She has one amazing habit of writing her personal mobile number on the prescription so that you can contact her in case of any abnormal situation and she makes sure that she replies. My mother had a very good experience in her care.
I have visited lot of doctors , as I am not able to conceive after my miscarriage.. I am absolutely fine not having any issues not to conceive. I never get satisfied with any doctors treatment I consulted before.. The day I have visited Badhna mam, I am totally satisfied and soon I will have my baby, by grace of Mam , I believe God has send for me... She is really very very fantastic human being.. U deserve everything good in ur life mam...
I have taking my wife to her for some time now and always found her to be very empathetic and understanding to our problems. One thing I really appreciate about her is that despite having such a busy schedule and so many patients she is always well informed about our case and offers the right guidance and support. She is all ears to our endless list of questions always and answers each to our satisfaction.
She is not just friendly, but also is very motivating. The Fortis IVF Clinic have proper facilities for disabled patients as well. I consulted Dr Richika Shukla for treatment. Thanks to the expert care and guidance, I feel much better than before. I was suffering from polycystic ovary synDrome. My boss referred me her name.

We have consulted couple of doctors initially they asked to undergo pcod treatment we did it but nothing worked out. Later we did iui suddenly she got pregnant but after 3 months we missed the baby. Both of us did full body checkup and no notable issues. What could be the reason for delay in pregnancy? Normal hsg, no thyroid, 85% fertile sperm count. What could be the reason sir?
Infertility is a condition where a couple, trying to conceive in a natural way is not able to do so even after one year of trying. It is also a matter of worry for patients who are over the age of 35 years and those who are not able to conceive naturally even after 12 months of trying constantly. So here are the causes, risks and treatment for this condition.
There are many causes of infertility. It may be down to a condition present in one or both partners. As per a medical study, 20% of the cases of infertility are due to males, while 40% to 50% cases are due to problems in the female partner. 30% of the cases suffer from infertility due to problems in both males and females.
Ovulation and fertilisation are the main elements of the conception process and any condition in the female or male can upset either function, which can make it difficult to conceive. While abnormal sperm production and transport may be a common condition that leads to infertility in males, other factors like side effects of cancer treatments and too much exposure to toxins and chemicals can also play an important role in this regard.
For females, the causes of infertility may range from ovulation disorders, uterine and fibroid tumours, uterine and cervical anomalies, damage to or blockage of the fallopian tubes, endometriosis, primary ovarian insufficiency and pelvic adhesions. Also, factors like thyroid, cancer and medication leading to temporary infertility may be at play.
There are a number of factors that put a male or a female at risk of infertility. Being in your mid 30s usually has an adverse effect on the ovulation and production of well functioning sperm. Further, smoking and tobacco are among the main causes of infertility in either partner. Excessive alcohol consumption may also lead to this problem. Being overweight or underweight can also make a person infertile. Further, not getting enough exercise and routine activities out of your day, can lead to this condition as well.
Male patients can go through a treatment for any existing infections, hormonal injections and medication, surgical options like vasectomy reversal and ART or assistive reproductive technology. Female patients can turn to medication that will stimulate ovulation, Intrauterine Insemination, and surgical processes to correct a uterine septum and remove endometrial polyps, or even a hysteroscopy surgery.
If these methods fail, the patient or the couple can always turn to methods like In Vitro Fertilisation. For other mild reasons, lifestyle changes along with a stress free environment can help in increasing the chances of conception.
My periods is getting very frequently. Sometimes, the difference 20 days and now it came after 10 days from my last menstruation. I have no baby after 10 years of my marriage. I have done 1st IVF but it turned in ectopic. Then I have done 2nd IVF in 2017. This time I could not conceive. My menstruation cycle is disturbed last few months. Gynecologist says it is normal. Problem happens when it comes after many days Don't worry about it. please tell me it is really normal?
Polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos) is a condition that causes irregular menstrual periods because monthly ovulation is not occurring and levels of androgens (male hormones) in women are elevated. The condition occurs in about 5 to 10 percent of women. The elevated androgen levels can sometimes cause excessive facial hair growth, acne, and/or male-pattern scalp hair thinning. Most, but not all, women with pcos are overweight or obese, and they are at higher than average risk of developing diabetes and obstructive sleep apnea. For women with pcos who want to become pregnant, fertility pills or injections are often needed to help women ovulate.
Although pcos is not completely reversible, there are a number of treatments that can reduce or minimize bothersome symptoms. Most women with pcos are able to lead a normal life without significant complications.
Common signs and symptoms
Irregular menstrual periods menstrual disorders can include absent periods, periods that occur infrequently or too frequently, heavy periods, or unpredictable periods.
Infertility pcos is one of the most common causes of female infertility.
Obesity up to 80% of women with pcos are obese.
Excess hair growth on the face, chest, abdomen, or upper thighs this condition, called hirsutism, affects more than 70% of women with pcos.
Patches of thickened, velvety, darkened skin called acanthosis nigricans
Multiple small cysts on the ovary
Are treatments available for women with pcos?
A variety of treatments are available to address the problems of pcos. Treatment is tailored to each woman according to symptoms, other health problems, and whether she wants to become pregnant.
Is there a cure?
Medical treatments aim to manage and reduce the symptoms or consequences of having pcos.
Medication alone has not been shown to be any better than healthy lifestyle changes (weight loss and exercise). Many women with pcos successfully manage their symptoms and long-term health risks without medical intervention.
They do this by eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly and maintaining a healthy lifestyle
Polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos) is a condition which can affect a woman's menstrual cycle, fertility, hormones and aspects of her appearance but with proper medical care she can lead a healthy lifestyle.
