She have a rear hole in their heart then what exercise she will do for remove a hole and give some remedies also.
Dear Lybrateuser, - There are no specific exercises for closure of the hole, she should carry on doing her normal activity as long as she doesn't feel tired & weak - sometimes if the size is small the hole closes on its own & if the person becomes symptomatic then surgery is required - she should be investigated & checked by a cardiologist as constant monitoring is also required in future.

Mr. lybrate-user, you should talk to her first, find her if there is some reason she is feeling stressed, if required she can be given a low dose hypnotic (sleep medication). If she does not confide in you or any other family member she can meet a mental health professional for this problem.

Hello. There are 2 kinds of tulsi leaves we come across. One is" ram tulsi" (which is lighter in shade) and the other one is" shyam tulsi" (which is darker in shade) you have to consume 10-15 leaves of" shyam tulsi" which means the leaves with darker shade. Take 10 to 15 leaves of shyam tulsi and grind it into a paste. Boil this paste in 200 ml of water until the water comes down to the level of 100 ml. Consume this water chewing the leave remains daily in 3 installments without break. I guarantee you that you will feel better after some days. Besides natural remedies doesn't even have any side effects along with them. Thanks.

Sometimes I get some pain in my abdomen area in left portion. Can It be a symptom of heart attack?
Very unlikely that it is would suggest a heart attack. You need to understand that for heart attacks breathlessness is more common and more important symptom than Chest pain or pain anywhere else. No heart attack ever happened without breathlessness.

Hello doctor I had lumps on the chest since the age of around 13 I'm 24 now I've visited some 6 doctors 2 of them said this is pigeons chest and others said this is gynecomastia. The lumps are very small. I used to exercise a lot so On the right side it's almost negligible now and looks normal but on the left side it's bit visible with some difference. Is it possible to operate only on one side? When I touch the chest region on the left side I feel some little hard circular lump inside Thank you.

Dna is decided once only at the time of conception, it cannot change later because of relations with other men. Go to labor room without any doubts or fears of more than one man being responsible for this pregnancy. Your progress so far is good according to ultrasound reprorts.

High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation, yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. Garlic,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines . Cap. Ecosprin gold-10 at night daily.

Too Slow Heart Rate - Know The Reasons Behind It!

Fellowship in Electrophysiology, Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, DM - Cardiology, MD - Medicine, MBBS
Cardiologist, Delhi
Too Slow Heart Rate - Know The Reasons Behind It!

The heart is a muscular organ and beats at regular intervals. This is known as heart rate, which indicates a person’s overall health. In a normal healthy individual, it ranges from 60 to 100 depending on overall health status. A heart rate outside of these ranges is usually a cause for concern.

Bradycardia is when the heart rate is below 60. While this could be a sign of fitness and health in some, it could also mean an underlying cardiac condition in others. Low heart rate is seen in many athletes, who normally have a heart rate below 60, with no symptoms or problems.

However, in others, slow heart rate can be an indication of an underlying heart problem. The electrical system in the heart could be affected, leading to alteration in blood supply to the heart and other vital organs. This needs further investigation and management to restore normal cardiac function.

Causes: Some of the reasons for reduced heart rate include:

  1. Normal aging process, as with all body functions, aging slows down the heart’s electrical function, leading to reduced heart rate
  2. Heart conditions like coronary artery disease, hypertension, atherosclerosis, heart attack, and infections of the heart muscles (endocarditis or myocarditis)
  3. Pulmonary conditions like sleep apnea
  4. Hormonal conditions like hypothyroidism
  5. Metabolic conditions like increased potassium
  6. Increased iron accumulation in the body
  7. Medications like beta-blockers and digoxin

Symptoms: While bradycardia does not cause symptoms in some, in others, where it has an associated medical condition, the following would be seen too:

  1. Extreme levels of fatigue, with near-fainting episodes
  2. Regular bouts of dizziness
  3. Shortness of breath with even minimal activity
  4. Weakness, tiredness, and low energy levels
  5. Chest pain bouts
  6. Lack of mental energy and confusion
  7. Memory problems

Complications: If left untreated, bradycardia can cause:

  1. Fainting spells, where the patient may just collapse in the midst of an activity
  2. Heart failure, where the heart is not able to pump enough blood
  3. Sudden cardiac death

Risk factors: If you have any or some of the following, do not ignore bradycardia.

  1. Age (more common in older adults)
  2. Hypertension
  3. Diabetes
  4. Smoking
  5. Heavy alcohol abuse
  6. High levels of emotional stress

Treatment: Once diagnosis of bradycardia and underlying disease is confirmed, treatment will be two-pronged.

  1. Correct underlying condition like hypothyroidism, electrolyte imbalance and infections.
  2. Work on managing chronic conditions like coronary disease, diabetes, and obesity.
  3. Prepare the patient to watch for episodes of bradycardia and ways to manage them.

While bradycardia per se is not a concern, other conditions should be managed so the heart keeps working to its optimal level. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Cardiologist.
