There are so many reasons for pain in knee joint, after detailed history and examination conclusive diagnosis can be made. According to me you might be suffering from vitamin D deficiency or cartilage problem, get your blood tests done which include sugar, thyroid Vitamin D, vitamin B12, blood count and Rheumatoid factor.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have got pains at multiple joints in the body. My advise to you will be: - catch hold of a good physical therapist and start your exercises - concentrate initially on isometrics for neck region, general conditioning and abdominal strengthening ex - do daily walks for about 2-3 km ( brisk walks) everyday - take adequate calcium and vitamin d ( as per deficiency) - you can use tab ultracet 1 tab sos in case of pain. Please also send me certain tests like: cbc, esr, crp, serum electrolytes, serum vitamin d levels and dexa scan to evaluate your bone density. I presume certain issues in you must be related to degeneration in joints and there could be some inflammation as well. But if you start doing your exercises, try a healthy lifestyle some these issues will get solved by itself. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Most probably you are suffering from oa of knee. Knee surgery-total knee replacement (tkr) is quite safe & gives uniformly good results, in our hands. We have well equipped center in delhi. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Surgery should be done when patient is still active & will be able to take benefit of surgery. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Kindly show me x- rays before a final decision can be taken. You will be thoroughly investigated before surgery is under taken. Risk in surgery is less than the risk in crossing road.

Please avoid protein diet and high glycemic index food items. Avoid soyabean, pulses, peas, chole, rajma, meat etc. Dont take maida products, soft drinks, food products that have artificial sweeteners.

Patient needs to be examined in detail & be investigated. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days then inform me.

Proper posture while sitting is necessary. Do some massaging with oil and do hip rotation. Give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Consult after 5 days.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Dear mother It's really difficult to get up at night time and again esp.when child is 11months now. Does he take feed at night when he wakes up? Do you give rice or other food at dinner or he takes milk only?Inthat case start giving him dinner and if he wants milk after that give him that and put him to sleep try to delay his sleeping time to 9-10pm. At 11months let him crawl a lot and play so that he is tired. Try this and let me know if any further question.happy motherhood

First thing is HIV can only transmitted from an HIV client. So if you got contact with the same above mentioned then go for a test. Otherwise consult Dermatologist. For joint pain go for warm foamentation.

Hello, please explain what is the cause of pain ??is there any history of injury or this is Sciatica type of pain?? In the mean time you can take Arnica 200, 5 drops twice daily and Five Phos 6x, 5 tabs twice daily.
