Hi lybrate-user. Here are some of the most common causes of true under-eye circles. 1. Allergies 2. Atopic dermatitis (eczema) 3. Contact dermatitis 4. Fatigue 5. Heredity — dark under-eye circles can run in families 6. Pigmentation irregularities — these are a particular concern for people of color, especially blacks and Asians 7. Rubbing or scratching your eyes 8. Sun exposure, which prompts your body to produce more melanin, the pigment that gives skin its color 9. Thinning skin and loss of fat and collagen — common as you age — can make the reddish-blue blood vessels under your eyes more obvious. Medication:- 1. Massage in a circular motion with Tavishi oil regulary twice a day. 2. Apply sumukha facepack regularly with honey. Tips:- 1. Get your beauty sleep. 2. Eat well. 3. Regularly undergo meditation and perform exercise.

Dark pigmentation can be caused by three different factors: 1. Sun Exposure It usually takes up to a few years for dark spots to appear on the sun-exposed areas of the skin. After their appearance, the probability of them fading away without a proper treatment is small; however, considering the fact that a changed pigment stays just beneath the surface of your skin, the condition can be treated with the aid of various scrubs and creams. It is highly recommended you use a sunscreen as a prophylactic method, and as a way to keep your hyperpigmentation from darkening any further. 2. Melasma (Chloasma) These murky spots start appearing on the upper lip as a product of hormone changes that occur during pregnancy (or consumption of birth-control pills). Even though they are highly treatable, they may reappear. 3. Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation Dark skinned people could develop some dark spots that might stay there for a while after a pimple or a burn has healed. But there is no need to worry! The skin will regain its normal color within three to six months. Berberis Aquifolium – Excellent Homeopathic medicine for treating facial pigmentation from eruptions

I am 20 year old female and I am dark in colour. What can I do for a fairy glowing skin.

Hi, Believe me, if you are genuinely happy from inside and taking nutritious, healthy food and daily yoga or some kind of exercises, it will be automatically reflected on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face!! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon,orange,gooseberry,etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: You can also use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel daily at night. Home remedies: Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it. Do this daily or every other day. Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Make a paste of 'Kasturi Manjal' (wild turmeric) with rose petals, saffron and raw milk which is very effective.

Tips for Glowing Skin
Grapes are highly beneficial for your skin. You can directly scrub your skin using grapes or you can create a juice out of them and apply it on your skin. This will make your skin soft and bright.

The best way to get your skin glowing is to increase oxygen circulation in your body with the help of exercises, yoga. Taking break between hectic work schedule and splashing your face with cold water 2-3 times a day is helpful. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Have a balanced diet, eat more iron and zinc containing foods like dates, nuts and dry fruits. Include Skimmed milk, cottage cheese, lentils in diet. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are important nutrients for great skin. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet.

The best way to flatten deep chickenpox scars is to apply a moisturizer with vitamin e and aloe vera extract directly onto the pitted scar. Pitted scars, also known as" atrophic scars" are deep scars commonly caused by chickenpox. Also, do regular massaging. An increase in blood flow helps is filling the holes sooner.
