Hello lybrate-user, check for your posture. Backache is aggravated with unsupported sitting for long hours, lifting a heavy backpack. Sit with a proper back support. Avoid bending forward and lifting heavy weights. Start taking hot water bag for relieving spasm and stiffness in the back muscles.

Lybrate-user, back pain is very common in people who have a prolonged sitting job. Take care of yoir sitting posture. Use a back rest to support your back. Sit straight with placing pillows on the back of the chair. Use a chair that has a back support till the neck. Take frequent breaks to do some back stretching. Before going to bed apply some pain reliving gel/ oil followed by a hot pack to feel a little better for the next day.

You can do a regular cycling. Make sure that you are using a back belt while exercising. It is good to strengthen your muscles and be fit, but take a few precautions while exercising. Bending forward, lifting heavy weights should be avoided. And brisk walking, cycling can be done with a l-s belt on.

Get yourself checked with a physiotherapist for a detailed postural assessment. Forward bending, slouched sitting, unsupported sitting posture for prolonged duration can lead to backache. Long working hours, abnormal sleep-wake pattern can also lead to backache. So, check whether your postural habits have lead to this problem. You can change your sitting posture- to supported sitting. You can also avoid bending forward to avoid backache. And consult a rheumatologist, if the pain doesn't subside with postural correction.

You should consult a physiotherapist, and take sessions if you have allergies with painkillers. Anyhow painkillers are not good for long term use. For the time being you can use a pain relieving ointment - volini gel/ ortho pain oil, followed by a hot water fomentation before going to sleep, every night. This will help your muscles to relax. Stretch your body to avoid spasms and stiffness in neck and back.

Hi, Take a painkiller with anti-inflammatory effect. Zynase dp -one tablet after dinner for five days along with ten physiotherapy sessions will help you relieve your back pain.

Mention your job profile? did you do a jerky movement with your right shoulder? apply a pain relieving ointment: volini /dynapar gel. Followed by a hot water fomentation. This procedure should be done twice a day. Also, avoid sleeping on the right shoulder. Consult a physiotherapist if the pain doesn't subside with this protocol.
