Hello lybrate-user ,stretching exercise is good for muscle gain. So you should do alternates days. Take sprouts ,soya milk, whole pulses, tofu,paneer, egg white, cold coffee, take high protein and high calories1. But exercise is very important.

I am overweight and have done so many things for weight loss but no luck. I have got thyroid test and it is normal. I now started avoiding rice completely and eating only Roti, but after a week I see increase in my tummy. What else can be done for weight reduction.

Hello do brisk walk and cycling daily. Take luke warm water before and after meals. Take plenty of fruits. Take plenty of fluids. Take high fiber diet. Take luke warm water with aloe Vera juice empty stomach early morning. Have small and frequent meals.

I am 51 years female suffering from diabetes type 2 for the last 6 years. Using Canagliflozin 100 mg in morning and Galvus Met 50/500 in afternoon for the last 6 months as per endocrinologist advise. Sirs, I am diabetic since my 44 and now I’m 50. I took alcohol up to 3 large twice in a week and had smoking habit. My PP BGL suddenly increased to 500 two months before and doctor prescribed to take insulin Apidra 4 IU thrice daily before food and Lantus 20 IU daily before bed. Also I’m having Tab. Glyciphage SR and Glucozide 40 twice daily. Now the BGL is normal but it will be high (200 in fasting) when I’m stopping the injection even for one day. Taking only tablets is not effective. I need advice how can I getting normal.

I am a diabetic since last 17 years but lately my PP after breakfast is going un controlled. I take lipaglyn, Amaryl 1 mg. MET, before breakfast and 18u of actrapid. My sugar level is between 270 and 350 mg. I take 2 spoons of Oats with milk in the morning as breakfast and one cup green tea early in the morning after medicines. The fasting sugar is 140 to160. Can anyone guide me the reason. The Lunch and dinner pp levels are below 200.

hello balan , u should start walk daily. take high fiber diet, include salad , apple,butter milk.take milk oats, milk cornflakes without sugar in breakfast .take milk porridge ,green veg.have small and frequent meals. u should take meals in fix time . don't skip ur breakfast and meals.

Hello lybrate-user ji. If you r diabetic and hypertension patient .that time you should take high fiber diet. Take low salt and low oil in your diet .walk is very important for you. Take plenty of fluids. Take plenty of fruits. Avoid sugars ,raw salt. If you want proper diet plan you should contact for near by dietitian.
