Muscle injury is when your muscle gets strained or pulled causing an inflammation or a tear. This happens when your muscles are overstretched. Fatigue, over or improper use of the muscles can cause this injury. The symptoms of the condition include sudden onset of pain, muscle soreness, limited or restricted movement, swelling and stiffness of the muscles.

The condition can be self-diagnosed. In rare cases, the general physician may want to look at an imaging scan such as an x-ray to identify the severity of the injury and its exact location.
HOW IS MUSCLE INJURY TREATED?
While most of the Muscle Injuries can be successfully treated at home, however, in a severe case of Muscle Injury, doctors may prescribe physical therapy and anti-inflammatory medication to reduce the pain in the muscle.
