Hydrocoele is another problem where there is too much of fluid accommodation in the cavity of the body. And this would usually happen around the testicles area or the genital areas of the individual. It is actually a form of hernia that affects younger children and it is usually seen and felt as a hard bulge around the genitals associate with pain and similar symptoms.
HOW IS HYDROCOELE DIAGNOSED?
Diagnosis of the same is done via physical examination of the Hydrocoele and usually a scan is required to check for internal damage.
HOW IS HYDROCOELE TREATED?
Hydrocoele are not usually dangerous and resolve on their own. In cases where the Hydrocoele is too large and causes reduced blood supply to penis, drainage of the fluid may be needed. In some cases surgical removal may be needed.
DID YOU KNOW?
