You aer a victim of acne vulgaris and it's sequelae like most people your age. It's a very common problem with a lot of solutions. These acne pimples if broken leave really dark marks and scar marks. So steer clear from them. Don't pick at them. Avoid cosmetics and over the counter face products. Overwashing won't remove pimples or spots. You need to use cold water and wash face with a salicylic acid containing wash twice a day and not more. It vil help reduce the oiliness to a large degree. Avoid milk and milk products, you can have them occasionally. Instead, you can have tea or coffee. Do not stress over your problem its treatable. Stress vil only increase chances of more pimples. Exercise. You can practice meditation, it vil take your mind of your problem and create all the right chemicals in you. Have fruits with a high vitamin a content (such as broccoli, papaya, spinach and carrots) as this helps to flush acne-causing proteins from the system, and with high vitamin e and c contents (oranges, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, avocados) which have antioxidant effects and help to calm the skin. Have adequate amount of water. Include nuts like almond, walnuts. Avoid milk and milk products like butter, cheese as well as refined flour items and sugary drinks. You vil also need to do treatment like peels and lasers.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine berberis aquifolium 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. *clean your skin gently with a mild face wash removing all dirt or make-up. Wash many times a day with plain water. *get an adequate amount of sleep. *avoid touching your face with your hands or try to squeeze pimples, it may leave permanent scars and spread the infection. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *avoid fried and spicy food. *include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *avoid harsh skin products.

Hello, Your weight is normal but to maintain this weight or to even loose a little weight you need to exercise, if not possible to do exercise try to walk as much as possible, if you travel by cab/bus you can get down one or two stops earlier and get home by walk. Try not to take bike for near by places. Since you are eating infrequent meals try to eat fresh fruit and vegetables than the fried foods and simple easily available refined foods. Drink plenty of water avoid sugars in any form like chocolate, juice, cola even tea and coffee as much as possible and also junk foods. Do not eat in front of TV, Computer etc as you tend to loose count of food intake and consume more calories. Do not sit in a place for more than 1 hour, try to take small walks in between. Do not skip your meals especially your breakfast as you tend to binge when you skip your meals.

Hello, There is no need to worry about it! We can't come to any conclusion right now and of course, we shouldn't suspect of Cancer any which ways as all over growths are not always a Cancerous growth at all! Relax. First we will treat the lump with basic medication, in case there is no improvement in the condition, we ask the patient for further investigations (if required). If not got any outcome from that, then only we should go further high. It is gradual stepping up in any case. Medication: Along with the medication you are on, start taking homoeopathic medicines as well (as it is safe to take) - Calcarea Fluor. 12x/ thrice daily and Hepar Sulph. 200/ one dose daily for 10 days, get back to me..

the results of meniscal repair depends on the site of the meniscal injury. Only peripheral tear have better outcomes. there is always a risk of failure of repair because the meniscus is not well vascularised (doesnt have much blood supply except in the periphery). if you still have pain then you may require a repeat MRI to see if the tear has recurred. speak to your surgeon

Hye, Thanks for the query. You can improve your running stamina by following an effective training program and right nutrition. Step 1 Run more miles each week. You can increase your total running volume by increasing either the distance of each run or adding more runs. This allows your body to develop the systems needed to get more blood and oxygen to the muscles that are working.  Step 2 Incorporate a resistance workout two to three times per week, focusing on all of the major muscles groups of the body. Resistance can come from free weights, machines, body weight or bands, depending on what is available. At a minimum, the strength program should include squats, push-ups and planks because the combination of these three exercises will strengthen all of the major muscles of the body. Increasing muscle strength and endurance trains the muscles to work longer before reaching fatigue and that translates to being able to run longer. Step 3 Consume a nutritious diet, high in carbohydrates, moderate in protein and low in fat to ensure you have enough energy to complete your run. The diet of a runner should be made up of 60 to 70 percent carbohydrates, 12 to 15 percent from protein and no more than 30 percent from fat sources. Runners must also focus on staying well hydrated, drinking water regularly throughout the day and before, during and after workouts.

Dear lybrate-user, As a teenager many persons make mistakes. Many lessons are learnt from mistakes. Since you are suffering from depression, you are still thinking about big mistake even after 12 years. Itis good that since one year you are taking treatment. Zaptra (peroxetine) is a good antidepressant. Just go back to the psychiatrist who prescribed it and ask him whether you can stop it. Without consult her/him, please do not stop it. Every drug will have side effect. Not that everyone will get all the side effect. But when you have got benefit with Zaptra, you need not worry about side effect.

Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take of your total as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests. For more detailed and personal advice ask me privately.

Hello. Use home methods:- 1. Use lemon, glycerine and rose water mixture. Take them in equal quantity and use twice a day to lighten skin colour. It removes tan and gives you healthy fair skin. 2. Use curd and termeric paste. Take required amount of curd and add a pinch of haldi. Mix it and apply on skin. When it dries up wash with plain water. 3. Tomatoa juice is also good for lightening skin colour. 4. Apply aloe vera gel at night time. It gives you good skin. Use one or two methods from above and you will notice changes after few days. Dear user. this phenomenon is normal. Dizziness or light-headedness when standing up occurs as a result of abnormal blood pressure regulation. Normally, when people stand, gravity causes blood to pool in the veins of the legs and trunk. This pooling lowers the blood pressure and the amount of blood the heart pumps to the brain. Take care.
