For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) you can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) stop eating junk & processed food. 3) make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee. 4) eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) boost up your apettite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins. 6) massaging whole body with vata balancing herbal oil (ksheerabala oil) is very beneficial 7) reducing stress level, sleeping comfortably for long hours and afternoon naps are very essential to increase body mass.

We live in a world of seamless connectivity. Its a world where we pride ourselves being available & online 24 by 7! So, it has become quite a rarity when we find ourselves to truly alone. Even when none of our friends or family members are physically near us, they’re only a whats app or Hike text message away. While being so connected does have its benefits, but sometimes; it’s necessary to shut the world out and live in our cocoon of loneliness or solitude. Cutting a long introduction short, what can be the benefits of solitude?
We get Innovative & more productive: When we are truly & totally alone, we don’t rely on other people to entertain or otherwise enhance our life experience. Not only it forces us to think differently but we also don’t hold our self back in any way. Result? more new ways of accomplishing a task that we might not even had tried before, had we been working in a group. (Remember the movie & novel The Martian??)
We Work Harder: Remember school & college group projects?? I bet we all had near similar experiences where one or two members of the group put in all the donkeys work on behalf of group of four or five students! This group mentality of being Passive or “someone else will do it or should do it” doesn’t exist when we are alone. And of course, if we don’t do what we are supposed to, we shall be the one's taking the blame. But on the brighter side, when we are totally alone, we are completely free from distractions and can actually focus on getting work done with monomaniacal focus.
We are able to clear our minds better:We all need time to recharge. This happens best during periods of loneliness where we can sit back & objectively think about our problems, projects without the burden of outside opinions. History is ripe with tales of great ideas & inventions springing to life in serenity of solitude.
So next time, we should all welcome the prospect of spending ''that weekend'' or ''that trip'' alone all by ourselves!! Cheers!

1.Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit, tomato etc 2..Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3.Eat smaller meals and don't overeat. 4.Drink plenty of water. Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee if you are having, 7. Try these 2 remedies to improve your sex stamina: 1: Take 50 gms sprouted grams (चना) + 1 table spoon ginger juice + 1/2 half table spoon lemon juice + 1/3 tea spoon sendha namak + 1/2 spoon kaali mirch powder. Eat this for 3 month once a day in morning empty stomach. 2.ASHWAGANDHA: Take 1/2 table spoon ashwagandha powder + 1/2 table spoon honey + 200 ml cow milk. It will help in long lasting sex.

Hi, The tendency for fungus to recur in many adults, especially on the feet and toenails, is a genetic condition. Their skin cannot recognize the fungus as foreign and get rid of it. After having a fungus there for a while the body's immune system learns to live with the fungus and no longer tries to get rid of it. Steps to prevent fungal infection of the skin includes: - Wearing shower sandals in public showering areas, wearing shoes that allow the feet to breathe, and daily washing of the feet with soap and water. - Drying the feet thoroughly and using a quality foot powder can also help prevent fungal infection. - Change clothes -- especially underwear – everyday. - Keep feet clean, cool and dry. Change socks. Wear shoes that "breathe" like leather, rather than plastic. - Make sure shoes fit correctly and are not too tight. - Avoid walking barefoot, especially in bathrooms, locker rooms, gyms, on carpeting, and in public bathing areas. Wear slippers or stand on a towel or piece of paper. - Keep toenails short, cut straight across and avoid ingrown nails. Do not use the same clippers on abnormal nails and normal nails. - Family members and close personal contacts should treat any fungus infections they may have to avoid trading back and forth. - Discard old shoes, boots, slippers and sneakers. Do not share footwear with others. Medication: Tellurium 200/ twice daily and Sulphur 200/ once a day daily - take them for 2 weeks. Revert me back there after.

Eating healthy diet and regular exercise to burn extra calories will help you in reducing cholesterol. As regards food is concerned green vegetables, salads, fruits are good. Avoid oil, fat, fast food, colas, sweets.

I am a working woman. Suffering from sciatica . I feel stomach cramps by evening. My in laws place I am not comfortable with food. I usually eat less and no fruit and milk intake is there and at times even have to crave for food and eat out as I am hungry. I have decided to take some supplement drink like horlicks in my office. What else should I do. By end of day my body is stiff bcz of the nerve pinge. Having terrible headache and hungry also but no food.

Dear, These are some instructions & methods for good sleep: • Frequent oil massage of head with oil relax your mind and enhances sleep. You can also do foot massage daily it destress you. * Eat food with a bowl of curd and after that off the light and go to sleep because after eating meal our brain become relax and sleep comes. • Drink a glass of milk at night daily. * Avoid the excess use of laptop and phone during night. They also cause sleeplessness. • Do not take caffeine, tea & alcohol in excess and these are stimulant,(activate) your brain result in lack of sleep. • Avoid drinking alcohol & smoking. • Do not take stress. Do meditation and long breathing pranayams to relax the mind.

I am 60 years old. If I am eating any side dish cooked with oil, the oil alone comes out during vomiting after 6 hours or in within the next day. I am taking Ranitin 150 mg. Tablets to control / postpone the situation. I have the issue for the past 7 years. Now days I am taking food without oil. What will be reason doctor?

U have indigestion problem dear it leads to gastritis and food reflux. Walk daily early morning and do yoga exercises. Prefer to sit in vjrasana whenever u sit. Sleep in left lateral position always. Do not go to bed just after sleep. Take 1 tsf avipattikar churna (DABUR) daily morning and evening 30 min before meals with water 2 tab suthshekhar ras 30 min after meals prefer to chew tab well. Drink plenty of fluids. Avoid oily and spicy food. Try to take light meals at night or take fruits and soup at night Avoid constipation and take proper sleep. Follow up after 10 days.

Hello meenakshi. You are in morbid obese category { bmi 39.4}. It is very difficult to loose weight by diet and exercise in this category. If you do not try it seriously. I will end up requiring bariatric surgery for the same. As such high bmi is really detrimental for health in another 10 years to come.

I have persisting problem of alopecia & its going & coming but now its worst. Earlier when its starts it was on face & head both places but now only on head left side two patches are there. Dear Lybrate User, Hair growth occurs in cycles. Each cycle consists of a long growing phase (anagen), a short transitional phase (catagen) and a short resting phase (telogen). At the end of the resting phase, the hair falls out (exogen) and a new hair starts growing in the follicle beginning the cycle again. Normally, about 40 hairs reach the end of their resting phase each day and fall out. When more than 100 hairs fall out per day, clinical hair loss may occur. Hair loss have many causes such as:- 1) Shrinkage of the hair follicles due to the influence of androgenic hormones. 2) Under-nutrition of the hair due to fungal infection on the scalp. 3) Effects of Radio therapy or Chemotherapy. 4) Nutritional deficiencies. 5) Autoimmune diseases. Modes of treatment for hairfall/alopecia includes surgical modes, oral medicine & local external application. The minimum duration of the course of oral medicines & external application is 6 months. Sometimes when I go to pee after I'm done. I feel like I have a little bit left. So I push so as to let the rest out. I can feel it coming out like usual when I finish. Dark circles are mostly due to habits. Avoid rubbing eyes. Get allergies tested. If you have refractive errors, get it checked and corrected. Avoid eye cosmetics and chemicals. Shampoos that seep down to eyeswhile bathing can contribute to this, so don't let it accumulate. Food should b supplemented with iron capsules. Have green leafy vegetables and jaggery in plenty. Overtime with computers, laptops, television, can increase the chances of darkness around eyes. Get your hb checked. Catch a good six hour sleep everyday. Relax and destress with yoga, meditation, prayer. Dark circles don't have a one-stop solution or home remedy. Sunken eyes won't respond to creams or medicines.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.
