A disorder of the skin, Seborrhea affects mainly the scalp and oily regions of the skin. Its symptoms are red skin, scaly patches and dry skin in the form of dandruff. The causes are dry and cold weather, hormones, stress and a yeast like organism. It is not a severe disease and the likely treatments are ketoconazole, salicylic acid and Zinc pyrithione.
