Usually, baldness is associated with aging. However, there are a lot of other factors that can contribute to premature baldness like stress, weight loss, type of food, etc. Hair loss is a huge issue in both women and men, and, often times, losing hair leads to low self-esteem and loss of confidence.

For this purpose, there are numerous store-bought products for treatment of hair loss, as well as hair transplantation- a rather expensive procedure. However, the problem is that not everyone who's struggling with baldness is able to afford it.

Luckily, there are more alternative measures when it comes to hair loss. Namely, the recipe that you're about to see below is a very beneficial remedy for hair loss:

    2 tbsp of castor oil
    1 egg yolk
1 tbsp of organic raw honey

Mix all of the ingredients well until you get a homogenous mixture.

Massage the content into your hair and then cover it with a shower cap. Leave it for 3 hours. Afterwards, rinse your hair as usually. Repeat this procedure twice per week for 2 months until you notice improvement.

Letting go and speaking up or crying out is the best aphrodisiac and marriage problems solver says Dr. Vaibhav lunkad

Of all the cases of erectile dysfunction we get to see at aaiina clinic 162 shukrawarpeth pune we found that 40% almost were due to psychosomatic problems such as misunderstanding, misconceptions, misperceptions, misbehaviour and habits of missing, messing and masking emotions or actions.

Just one session of detailed counseling and psychotherapy for one hour and the mutual satisfaction of the couples and us was immeasurable. Their relations all renewed, relieved and resumed. To understand one another, it's necessary to go beyond logic and accept the intricacies of human body, mind, and relationships without bias and prejudice. To allow a person to be as he, she or a bisexual or gay is, is real love. To" forgive and forget" without reminding again helps resume all broken relationships too. To have humour, hunger and humility (letting go, keeps the flame of" romance, sex and love" ignited always. To be" at ease or dis-ease" is a choice we can make every moment. After menopause or andropause or any other problems what is required is" listening attentively without judging, taunting, expecting anything at all. Giving and for-giving childlike returns back immeasurably even from a strained relation,

So kill your ego and misunderstanding, misconceptions, misperceptions, misbehaviour and just keep shut a dirty mouth and leave habits of" missing, messing and masking emotions or actions.

Life literally changes by 180 and you can" reignite romance, love and sex" back in your and other's life just atm (anytime)

Letting go and speaking up or crying out is the best aphrodisiac and marriage problems solver says Dr. Vaibhav Lunkad

One should think logical and practically before jumping into unknown terrains. It's always better to know your body and it's nature as each individual is born with a unique identity (due to the role played by genetics).

The metabolic rate differs from person to person and so there cannot be a one plan that fits all regarding weight loss or weight gain.

Some important points to be noted.

Always check with your physician and see that you are fit to reduce or gain weight.

Infact it very important to confirm that you are overweight or underweight before you start anything!

See that you do not suffer from thyroid problems, diabetes or hypertension or any other illnesses.

Ensure that any change in lifestyle (including dieting and exercising) is comfortable for you and does not cause pain or discomfort.

There are no short cuts for success. It can be dangerous to use supplements or steroids, or even thinking of starvation or avoiding a particular nutrient in order to achieve fast results.

Use common-sense in taking important decisions. If some body promises miraculous changes without a scientific basis and that too in a short period if time, be aware! it can cause more damage than the promised benefits in the future.

Always stick to a balanced diet as the body requires all the nutrients.

Always include exercise whether it's weight loss or weight gain.

Always prefer natural ingredients over artificial ones.

Keep good hydration (your thirst should be the best indicator). When you are thirsty please drink plain and clean water and nothing else. An average of 8-10 glasses of water would be sufficient. If you are active and do workouts (exercise) then you can increase a few more glasses of water.

Avoid all junk food, fried food, very salty food, ready-made juices, sodas (cold drinks) tobacco and alcohol.
Eat freshly prepared food only. Have green salads, sprouts, whole grains (all types of grains), pulses, seeds, nuts, fruits and vegetables so that there is a good portion of all the nutrients in your diet.

Keep a track of your progress. Keep checking the vital parameters once in a week so that you are safe and healthy. And enjoy the process of transformation which should be slow and study. You should remember that it's not a competition with anybody but a conscious decision to stay fit and healthy which should make you happy and motivated.

Peer pressure is always difficult to deal with, especially when it comes to sex. Many girls feel the pressure from friends to have sex before they're ready, which is why it's so important to have the confidence to say no to something you don't feel ready to do.

Just because your friends are having sex or say they're having sex doesn't mean that you have to as well! you might feel like everyone is doing it but you will soon realize that this is not the case. Your friends may talk about sex in a casual manner. If you have a good group of friends, they should not be pressuring you into doing something that you're not ready to do.

Pressure from magazines, celebrities and peers can all contribute to the pressure that you may feel. On tv, sex is displayed in such a casual way, however you should remember that sex is actually a really big deal! you need to make sure that you're completely confident and comfortable with your decision if you do decide to have sex. Think carefully how you feel yourself about having sex, as this is the first step in handling the peer pressure. It's okay to have fun when you're a teenager, but equally you need to respect yourself enough to say no I'm not ready and your peers should respect that too. When making the decision to have sex, consider whether peer pressure is influencing your decision or if it's something that you have decided that you are ready to do. Once you've had sex for the first time you can't go back, so make sure it's a decision that you won't regret.

Remember that there is no certain age that you are expected to have sex a lot of people wait until they're married! everybody is different and will mature and feel ready at different ages, so just because your friend is doing it and feels ready now, this does not mean that you should feel that way too. Don't ever have sex just to fit in with your friends, as they will respect you more if you stick to your morals and don't do things just because you're pressured to.

If you're worried about peer pressure, know that you're not alone. Hang out with friends who understand you and also believe that it's okay to wait to have sex. If you're going on a first date, go along with friends so it's not just you and your date. This way, if you feel worried that you might be pressured into doing something you don't want to, you won't be alone. Think of what you would say in advance if anyone tries to pressure you in the future, so that you're not caught off guard or feel like you have to do something you don't want to. You are never obliged to have sex with someone, so even if they try to make you feel guilty never do something that you don't want to do, as it's always your decision. Sex is not something that you should rush into, so take your time until you feel 100% ready to take the next step. Respect yourself, your morals and your body and when the time is right to take the next step, you will know.

World osteoporosis day 20 October 2016
Osteoporosis is a medical condition in which the bones become brittle and start thinning due to the loss of tissues. Doctors advise food rich in calcium, vitamin d and vitamin c to help maintain healthy bones as well as to reduce the risk of this condition. Regular muscle-strengthening exercises are also helpful in preventing osteoporosis. According to recent studies, the following foods help prevent osteoporosis and relieve painful symptoms.

It is no big surprise that the superstar of foods for osteoporosis is milk. Milk brims with bone strengthening calcium which is a crucial nutrient for healthy bones. Milk is packed with vitamin d, which is important for the absorption of calcium in the body, improves bone health and also boosts the immune system. If you are worried about the weight gain factor, go for low-fat or skimmed milk.

A perfect osteoporosis diet should always include fish as it is an impeccable source of calcium. Fish, especially salmon is packed with vitamin d, an important nutrient which helps the body absorb and process calcium. Sardines are also a rich source of calcium. The calcium in fish helps maintain bone mass and also maintain bone structure.

Almonds are a great source of vitamin e, manganese, calcium and riboflavin, and are an inseparable part of the osteoporosis diet plan. It supports bone health in many ways. Almonds are a chock-full of essential nutrients that help build strong and healthy bones. For people suffering from osteoporosis, it is must to incorporate a handful of almonds in their daily diet plan.

An ideal diet for osteoporosis is never complete without eggs. Eggs are packed with vitamin d, vitamin k, vitamin e, vitamin a, phosphorous, folate and selenium. They are one of the best natural sources of protein which protects our bones and promotes healthy hair and nails. The phosphorous in the eggs is an important component for healthy bones and aid in strong bone formation.

Yogurt is one of the most noted food items that can be incorporated in your diet to reduce the problems of osteoporosis. Yogurt is a milk product and is a great source of animal protein. It also contains several other nutrients like calcium, potassium, vitamin b2, vitamin 12, vitamin d and magnesium. In women, during their menopause, there is a notable deceases in the estrogen levels which in turn can cause thinning of bones, yogurt restores the estrogen levels and ensures bone health.

Bananas are very nutritious fruits and one of the most effective foods to prevent osteoporosis. One of the main reasons to incorporate bananas into the osteoporosis diet plan is its high potassium content. Regular intake of banana helps the body to absorb calcium and other essential bone healthy nutrients that ensure bone health and lowers the risk of osteoporosis.

Cabbage is one of the best foods for osteoporosis and ensures strong, healthy bones. It is a great source of fiber, vitamin b6, vitamin d, folate, iron, magnesium, calcium and potassium. Folate plays a pivotal role in carrying out many bodily functions like bone repair and bone maintenance. Cabbage also helps in the process of bone metabolism.

Polio is a virus that has the potential to infect any parts of the body including, but not limited to nerves and muscles. Primarily there are 3 types of polio namely, non-paralytic, spinal paralytic and bulbar. This disease shows minimal to no symptoms in more than 90 percent of the cases. 5 percent of the cases can show symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, sore throat and abdominal pain. Polio is a communicable disease and can cause massive damage if a proper dosage is not taken. It can spread through air, physical contact with an infected person, coughs etc.

Polio can cause paralysis: Polio has a far-reaching permanent effect on the body. It can cause paralysis on any of the limbs leading to permanent disability. This severely alters a child s life. The far-reaching consequences of the virus can only be negated through vaccination.
Weak muscle: Polio can result in weak muscles, respiratory problems and loss of reflex. If the breathing muscle collapses, it can result in the death of a person. Any of the above-mentioned symptoms can lead to weak body development altering the fate of a child.
It can spread fast and quick: Polio spreads very fast through the air, physical contact, saliva and water. It not only affects a single life but put millions at risk of the disease. A 1916 outbreak of the disease killed 6000 people in the United States and left several thousands of people disabled.
It reduces the risk of infection: 3 dosages Polio vaccination under the age of 6 can save a baby from getting polio in future. The body successfully creates polio antibodies from the vaccines and gets enough ammunition to fight it if the virus attacks it in future.
Social responsibility: Massive amount of awareness campaigns have been run by countries all over the world to permanently eradicate polio from the face of the earth. As per the latest reports, only 3 countries are reported to have babies affected with polio; Afghanistan, Pakistan and Congo. It is, therefore, a social responsibility to take part in the mission of removing polio from the face of the earth once and for all.
Save future generation: Although polio is not known to be a disease which passes through heredity, there still lies a chance for the future generation to get this disease. In order to negate that from happening, it makes sense to get the vaccines on time.
Give your kid a head start: Every kid deserves to have an equal amount of privileges like others. One small mistake on part of the parents can heavily cost a child s future. In order to make sure your kids grow up with any apprehension of polio, it is very important to treat them with polio vaccines.

Breast examination is a way of detecting early changes that help in detecting lumps or other growth in the breast. This is a manual form of examination that may be carried out by the doctor or even by the patient. This kind of examination helps in detecting the onset of breast cancer and helps in successful treatment of the same. It is an essential screening strategy that all women must go through. Let us cast a glance on the various details regarding this examination, and also how frequently it must be conducted.

Age: Women who have reached the age of 18 are said to have matured physically and sexually. They should perform this examination once they have reached the said age in order to detect any anomalies in the way the physical changes occur in the breast tissue.
Procedure: One should begin by looking at one's reflection in the mirror to find any rashes or dimpling in the breasts. The shape, size and colour of the breasts and nipples must also be studied so as to check for any anomalies. Inverted nipples, redness and soreness must also be reported to the doctor. Once you are done checking the visuals, you can raise your arms and look for any changes. Then, you will need to lie down and feel your breasts by using a circular motion. The finger pads must be used in order to check for any lumps. One must start from the centre and move the breasts sideways. Any wet and slippery feeling must be reported to the doctor immediately.
Pressure: During the breast examination, you must use light pressure for the skin and tissue that lie beneath the breasts, while medium to moderate pressure should be used for the middle portion of the breasts. One must use a firm hand to check the tissue that lies at the back of the breasts, near the rib cage.
Frequency: One must get into the habit of conducting a breast examination at least once a fortnight or once a month, without fail. You can also go to the gynaecologist for an examination in case you are not confident of conducting it on your own with proper movements and accuracy. You may also journalise your breast examination findings.
Menstrual Cycles: When you are going through your menstrual cycle or period, it is important to remember that your breasts can become tender just before or after the start of the cycle. So, do not panic if you think you have found a lump or any other growth at this time. It is best to check again after a week and then visit the doctor about checking the same.

Smoking increases the risk of heart disease and lung cancer, but even before those potentially deadly diseases develop, regular smokers are more likely to begin losing their teeth. A new study from britain's university of birmingham and the german institute of human nutrition determined that men who smoke are 3.6 times more prone to lose their teeth than non-smokers, while among women smokers the risk is 2.5 times higher. The researchers based their conclusions on data gathered from 23, 376 participants in a long-term study in germany. Part of the problem is that smoking is a strong risk factor in promoting tooth decay and gum disease, both of which can lead to tooth loss. The investigators noted that smoking can mask bleeding gums, a key symptom of gum disease, so that a smoker's gums may look healthier than they actually are. The good news is that quitting smoking can reverse the increased risk of tooth loss, although the researchers wrote that it could take more than 10 years for the risk to equal that of someone who never smoked.

    What is coblation tonsillectomy?
Coblation is an advanced technology that uses gentle radio frequency energy with a saline solution to quickly and safely remove tonsils without causing much pain & no bleeding.

    How is cobalation tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy done?
This surgery is done under general anaesthesia generally takes about 30 min. The surgeon uses a special cobalation wand which utlizes radio frequency energy to remove tonsil adenoids in a nearly bloodless fashion the patient can go home the same day.

Why is coblation tonsillectomy a better choice?
Older ways of removing the tonsils and adenoids include cold steel method of dissection. These methods could cause extensive pain, bleeding and may damage healthy tissue around the tissue that is removed. Coblation does not remove the tonsils or adenoids by heating or burning preserving healthy surrounding tissue.

What are the benefits of coblation tonsillectomy?
Fewer'bad days patients report a better overall experience with coblation tonsillectomy after surgery when compared to other procedures. Studies show that patient calls and visits to the doctor due to problems after surgery are significantly less with coblation tonsillectomy.
Faster recovery coblation tonsillectomy has been shown in clinical studies to speed a child's return to normal activity and diet. On average, patients return to a normal diet in 2.4 days after coblation, versus 7.6 days after routine cold steel method.

Less pain coblation tonsillectomy has also been shown to decrease pain and use of medications after the procedure.

    Adenoidectomy via cobalation
    Difficulty in breathing
    Obstructive sleep apnea
    Rec episodes of cough old

Coblation adenoidectomy is a technique which works at a relatively low temperature to gently dissolve and/or shrink target tissue with minimal thermal damage to surrounding healthy tissue. Coblation technology provides ablation, resection, coagulation of soft tissue and hemostasis of blood vessels in one convenient surgical device.

    Complete removal of adenoids
    No bleeding
    Under direct endoscopic vision
    No recurrence
Minimal pain with day care procedure
    Faster recovery.

    What is stress?

There are situations in life when a person is required to perform beyond his/her normal capacity, or situations when some expectations are not met. This creates anxiety, fear and anger. This is a situation where a person feels inadequate, under-confident and experiences loss of control. This affects a person's physical and mental wellbeing. This feeling of fear, anxiety, restlessness is commonly known as "tension or stress".

    Symptoms of Stress :

Anger and Aggression: While under stress a person starts doubting his/her own capacity and efficiency because he/she feels inadequate or incapable of performing certain tasks. This creates a lot of anger or frustration and sometime, may result into aggressive behaviour.
Irritability: Under stress people get irritated for no reason. There is loss of patience, loss of sense of humour.
Sleep Disorders: A person under stress may not be able to sleep at all or in some cases sleep excessively.
Eating Disorders: A person under stress may lose appetite or in some cases, tend to overeat resulting in harmful effects on body.
Anxiety: Stress may cause a lot of anxiety and restlessness. The person under stress may not to able to concentrate and unable to focus on any activity, making things more complicated.
Depression: In a few cases a person under a lot of stress may go into depression.
High BP: Body and mind are closely connected. Hence stress in mind creates stress in the body and under stress, blood pressure may rise.
High Sugar Level: Stress may increase the blood sugar levels.
Headache or Unexplained Body Pains: Stress may cause headache or body aches in different parts of the body, without any physical reason for it.
Sometimes, there may not be any symptoms for stress but the trauma manifests in the form to heart attack, Stroke etc.

    What causes stress ?

Relationship Issues - Conflicts in relationships is a major cause of stress.
Life style - Working for long hours, sedentary life style, unhealthy food habits, along with insatiable urge for money causes a lot of stress.
High expectations from oneself and from others - The peer pressure, the pressure of constant deadlines builds up a huge stress. When a person has very high expectations from himself/herself without corresponding efforts, there is a fear of failure which causes lot of tension. At the same time, having unrealistic expectations from others also is a definite reason for disappointments, resulting in stress.
Physical and Emotional Abuse - When a person is physically or emotionally abused and unable to defend himself/herself for various reasons, it causes frustration. This results in anger and stress.
Competition - Unhealthy competitions with others create a feeling of inadequency and result in lower self esteem and sadness, thereby causing stress.
Health Issues - Chronic and serious health issues cause lot of tension.
Suppressed Emotions - Lack of freedom to express own emotions and feelings, amounts to stress.
Lack of Assertiveness - Inability to say "No", when wanting to say so, inability to fight for one's own rights, causes tension and anger.
Boredom - Lack of creative/interesting occupation may cause stress especially in old people or people with physical disabilities.
Low self esteem, feeling hopeless and helpless - If a person has low self esteem and does not value oneself, it causes lots of negativity and stress.
    Why stress management is important?
Body and mind affect each other's functioning. When the mind is stressed out, it gets reflected in the body in the form of high blood pressure, high sugar levels, indigestion, acidity, heartburn, ulcers, skin rashes, headache, nausea, cancer, eating disorders, psychosomatic pains etc. It may trigger asthma, migraine etc.

Because of these harmful effects of stress, the body's capacity to function reduces. At times, it may cause serious threat to one's life. Hence, it is very important to learn to relieve and also to manage stress, in order to have a long and healthy life.

There are a number of ways to relieve stress:

    Sleep, take rest, relax.
Take a break from daily routine, do something different, take a short vacation.
Go for a walk/jog/run/cycling. Practice Yoga, meditation, deep muscle relaxation, etc.
Spend time with friends and family.
    Play with children.
    Spend time with pets.
Pursue a hobby like reading, gardening, painting, music, dance, singing, cooking, etc.
Recreation - Watch a movie, play, picnic, go for a drive or shopping.
Pamper yourself with beauty treatments, massage, or your favourite food/drinks.
    How to manage Stress?
Stress is inevitable part of life now. Right from a kid going to Pre-Nursery school to senior citizens staying alone at homes and having severe health problems; all are under lot of stress. No one can avoid stress. But there are certain ways to manage your stress-

Self-awareness. Learn more about your own self. Understand what induces stress in you, what tasks are difficult for you, what situations are difficult for you and then try to figure out the reasons why it is so. Try to resolve or modify your thoughts and attitude.
Identify stressors and explore options. Once you identify what is causing your stress, try to find more options to resolve your issues.
Reasonable Expectations and Feasible Goals. Have reasonable expectations from yourself and from others. Have goals which are possible for you to achieve.
Learn assertive techniques. Learn to express your feelings, learn to fight for your own rights, understand and respect other's rights.
Try to minimise stress in life and lead a happy healthy life.

There are many things we do in our daily routine that can have various repercussions. The state of our skin is one of these. Starting from what we eat to how we shower and what kind of a skin care regimen we follow, there are a variety of factors that can affect the way our skin behaves. So are you showering the right way? Find out the best way to shower if you want healthy and glowing skin that retains its elasticity for a longer time.
    1. Turn it to Cold: Did you know that standing under hot water for too long can actually rob your skin of its moisture and make it look shrivelled? That s right, the temperature of the water can actually make your skin good or bad. So turn the knob to cold and enjoy an energetic shower, which will leave your skin looking dewy fresh. The water should not be completely cold, as harsh temperatures can have the same effect as extremely hot water. Instead, make sure that you find the perfect room temperature or luke warm setting with which you can shower every day.
    2. Showerhead: This may come as a surprise to you. Your showerhead actually determines the health of your skin. This showerhead is usually packed with dirt and grime that we know nothing about. Showering with this dirty showerhead can actually lead to a host of health issues in the long run including a slowdown of your immune system, as per the views of many doctors. So unscrew the showerhead and give it a good rinse in a mug of hot water. Use a toothbrush to easily dislodge the loose dirt and the grime that may have settled in layers. Take special care of the tiny jets, which should not get damaged in your cleaning spree!
    3. Shampoo and Conditioner: Remember to lather your locks in the right way by diluting the shampoo a little before spreading it evenly over the rest of your scalp. You should also do the same for your conditioner and let it stand for a few minutes before you wash it off.
    4. Exfoliation: Keep this activity to a minimum to avoid excessive abrasion of the skin. Use soft foam on a daily basis and keep the exfoliation to a minimum with one or two sessions a week.
    5. Cleansing: While the bar soap is the cleanest option, the loofah is not. So, if you are using a loofah on a daily basis, you will have to clean it up properly before you hang it to dry. Also, ensure that your bathroom has plenty of ventilation so that it may dry properly before your next use.

Premature hair thinning, receding hairline, increased hair fall and various other problems are all related to your scalp are directly proportional to your psychological health. Being overly concerned about one's physical appearance does not always result from vanity. It could be the plain and simple desire of being acceptable to oneself. Today, surgeons are capable of transplanting and extracting large number of hair follicles.

The reasons when one may opt for a hair transplant are:

Traction alopecia: This type of hair loss occurs due to exertion of external pressure on the hair, which may cause it to fall. If the hair does not grow back then it would result in a bald patch. Thus, you may opt for a hair transplant procedure if you suffer from this disorder and experience loss of hair.
Involutional alopecia: It is a form of alopecia where the hair growth tends to decrease due to ageing resulting in thinning and shorter hair. The follicles remain in the telogen phase (resting phase) for an extended amount of time. You may opt for a hair transplant surgery to correct this disorder.
Trichotillomania: This is a psychological condition where a person pulls out his/her hair. If excessive hair is lost, resulting in bald spots, then you may opt for hair transplant surgery.

Hair transplant surgery is naturally a lasting and safe treatment for hair loss, as the chances for your body to reject the intervention in the form of implanted hair is minimal. This is because the technique that is used involves taking your own hair out from the follicle roots, (mostly from areas like the neck or the back and sides of your head) where they are not needed so much and place them in specially designed holes in the bald areas. Since no external factors are involved, the body does not tend to reject the transplant.

From an early age we re taught that alcohol is bad for us, but is that really true? Drinking yourself silly every night can have disastrous consequences, but having one drink a day is associated with a number of health benefits. The key here is moderation. Moderate drinking can be defined as one drink a day for women and two drinks a day for men. This is a daily quote system and not to be taken as an average over time.

Here are a few ways your body can benefit from the occasional drink:

It boosts cardiovascular health: Many types of alcohol are rich in phenols. This helps fight stress, reduces the risk of hypertension and can protect the heart against a number of cardiovascular conditions. Moderate amounts of alcohol can also increase the amount of good cholesterol in the body and influence the clotting of blood. Higher levels of cholesterol help protect against heart diseases while by influencing the blood clotting process, alcohol can indirectly help prevent the formation of blood clots in the arteries.
It slows aging: Some types of alcohol like wine are rich in antioxidants. This helps flush toxins out of the body and can slow down the aging process. An antioxidant called resveratrol that is found in red wine can even increase the lifespan of cells and activate enzymes that slow down the aging process. It is also said to increase DNA stability thus extending a person s lifespan.
It can help fight diseases: Alcohol is said to lower the risk of catching a cold. A warm drink like brandy can also be used to treat sore throats and a cough. Tonic water contains quinine that is anti inflammatory and has analgesic properties. Though medication for malaria is now easily available, tonic water can be used to treat the initial phase of the disease if proper medication is not available.
It enhances your libido: Excessive drinking can dampen your sex drive, but when consumed in moderation, alcohol can lower the risk of erectile dysfunction. Moderate amounts of alcohol also help lower inhibitions and thus encourage people to form sexual relationships.
It improves cognitive ability: Almost all forms of alcohol contain ethanol that helps neurons resist wear and tear. This can lower a person s risk of suffering from Alzheimer s or dementia later in life. It can also enhance problem solving abilities and encourage creativity.

All of the above benefits are applicable only if alcohol is consumed in moderation. Thus do not use them to binge drink.

Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disorder that results in higher level of blood sugar in the body. It is assuming epidemic proportions and India has become the new diabetic capital with more than 50 million diabetic people. The main problem with diabetes is that it does not completely go away and there is a whole myriad of issues that it brings along with it. Heart attack, stroke, eyesight problems, delayed wound healing, nerve damage and impotence. Therefore, diabetes and by that we mainly mean blood sugar level has to be managed so that there is a delay in onset of the associated conditions and/or reduced in severity.

Ayurveda refers to diabetes as Prameha (excessive urination) and Madhumeha (sugary urine) and has identified close to 20 forms of the disease. According to Ayurvedic belief, each disease is caused due to imbalance in kapha, pitta, and vata doshas and diabetes is caused by all these, predominantly by kapha. With any stream of medicine, management of diabetes involves two tracks one is lifestyle changes and the second is medications.

    Lifestyle changes include the following:

Diet: Reduce the amount of rice, sugar, potato, sweet fruits, maida, deep fried foods, and red meat. Protein-rich foods like lentils, soya, green leafy vegetables and fish should be increased. Diet plan should change to small, frequent meals instead of binge eating.

Exercise: Include 30 minutes of regular exercise into your daily routine if you have a diabetic predisposition.

Others: Avoid smoking and alcohol, ensure sufficient sleep, avoid sleeping during day time, improved foot and eye care, periodically check sugar levels and manage stress levels.

Ayurveda has a whole lot of home remedies which have proven to be very effective against diabetes:

Jambhul: Eugenia Jambolana whether eaten raw or juice extract has been shown to have beneficial effects in managing sugar levels and cholesterol.

Gymnema sylvestre: Used to manage diabetes for over 2000 years, it reduces sugar cravings and is being touted as the future for diabetes treatment.

Bitter gourd (Momordica charantia): It has 3 components that give it strong antidiabetic properties. The charantin reduces blood sugar levels; the polypeptide has insulin-like effects; and lectin that again has hypoglycemic effects.

Bel (Aegle marmelos): Also known as wood apple, leaves of the plant are shown to have antidiabetic properties. 5 to 10 leaves can be chewed on a daily basis to help control blood sugar levels.

Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum graecum): Consuming 10 g of fenugreek seeds soaked in water increases the amount of insulin produced, thereby increasing sugar breakdown.

Neem: Chewing about 4 to 5 leaves in the morning on an empty stomach helps to control blood sugar levels. Alternately, neem leaves powder is available which can be dissolved in water and consumed.

Most people lose about 50 to 100 strands of hair each day. Yet, the thinning of scalp hair is almost unnoticeable owing to the simultaneous hair growth filling up the vacant spots. But permanent hair loss occurs if the cycle of shedding and growth is disrupted or the hair follicle is damaged and substituted with a scar tissue.

    Few possible causes can be-

Genetic factors- Genetic factors bring about gradual hair loss in both the sexes; resulting in bald spots and a receding hairline in men and the thinning of hair among women. Hereditary factors also determines the age at which you could start losing hair.
Medical conditions- Medical conditions such as hormonal imbalances attack the body s immune system, thus resulting in damaged hair follicles, scalp infections such as ringworm, skin disorders and hair pulling disorder, a psychological condition that causes people to pull out hair from the scalp, eyebrows or other parts of the body.
Medications- Hair loss can be caused due to intake of certain drugs, such as the ones for birth control or for treating high blood pressure, heart problems, depression, arthritis or cancer. Consumption of excessive Vitamin A can cause hair fall as well.
Stress: Physical and emotional stress can cause hair loss. Surgery, high fevers, and blood loss can cause enough stress to cause excessive shedding. Childbirth can result in hair loss for several months after delivery. As for psychological stress, the link is less well defined, but many people have reported losing hair at times of extreme mental stress or anxiety.

Other Possible Reasons: Other reasons such as radiation therapy to treat cancer, emotional or physical trauma, surgery, extremely high fever or sudden and excessive weight loss can all contribute to hair loss. Hair styling equipment and other chemical based treatments are some of the other triggers of hair loss.

Anemia: Anemia (insufficient red blood cells in the blood), Polycystic Ovarian syndrome (a condition marked by enlarged ovaries and the formation of tiny cysts on the outer edges of the ovaries), thyroid disorders or pregnancy can also result in hair loss.

Heartburn is a common symptom experienced by many people, but is often overlooked as indigestion. Besides making you uncomfortable, this can be a sign of a much bigger health problem. While the occasional heartburn can be treated with antacids, chronic heartburn can be a sign of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or acid reflux. Here are three important reasons you should not ignore heartburn.

It can promote tooth decay:The acid regurgitated might not necessarily stop in the esophagus. It can often also make its way into your mouth. When this happens frequently it can promote tooth decay and wear out enamel. This can also leave your mouth with a sour taste. Acid reflux induced tooth erosion can easily be prevented by the early treatment of acid reflux, but in most cases is noticed only after the damage has been done.
It can cause cancer of the esophagus:Chronic acid reflux that persists for years can lead to changes in the cells of the esophagus. This can lead to a cancerous condition known as Barrett's esophagus. The condition has no other symptoms can if left untreated can develop into cancer of the esophagus. Women are at a higher risk of this form of cancer than men. Though esophageal cancer is relatively rare, it is not something to be trifled with. The survival rate of esophageal cancer is very low in comparison to other forms of cancer. Only 15-20% patients live longer than 5 years after this condition is diagnosed.
It can lead to breathing problems:Heartburn is caused by stomach acid flowing back into the esophagus. If it is inhaled after regurgitation, it can worsen asthmatic conditions and pneumonia. At the same time, treating acid reflux with medication like PPIs can also increase the risk of pneumonia as it can promote bacterial growth and suppress coughing. Thus, when consulting a doctor for acid reflux treatment ensure that you mention any existing asthmatic conditions so that you can be treated with your lung functioning in mind.
In addition, acid reflux can also impact a person's health and quality of life. To prevent heartburn people often find themselves avoiding certain foods. This can impact their social lives and in turn make them withdrawing into themselves. A person's sleep can also be affected by heartburn. Hence, it is important to treat heart burn as early as possible and not wait for it to become a chronic problem.

Precautions to be taken are -not smoking -regular exercise: 75 minutes intensive or 150 minutes moderate exercise each week. -don’t grow obese, or lose weight if overweight -if diabetic, strict diabetes control -strict blood pressure control -use platelet aggregation inhibitor drugs e.g. Aspirin -most would greatly profit from being on a statin, even when having normal serum lipid levels since it has beneficial effects on the precursor cells for the inner lining of the arteries . Thus repairing defects on which clots could form.

Meet a pulmonologist who will work with the children in action and use various physical exercises and breathing exercises, which they like very much. Pulmonologist teach a child how to eliminate the excessive ventilation of the lungs—that is to say, how to eliminate hyperventilation and to normalize the respiratory function as a whole. Thus, the body no longer has to produce an excessive amount of mucus, which defends against hyperventilation, and the child is given the chance to continuously breathe through the nose. Nasal breathing restores the natural ventilation of the ear, nose and throat area, as well as natural drainage, and the inflammation of the adenoids is halted. In addition to this, the adenoids stop enlarging, or, as is sometimes the case, even get smaller due to the elimination of the mucous membrane and tissue puffiness. The child sees the treatment as a game and develops a trusting relationship with the specialist, which helps achieve the desirable results faster. The alleviation of a child's condition frequently occurs during the first or second lesson and the children think of this as positive experience.

Snoring has been linked to being both overweight and out of shape, so working on those two issues can have the payoff of improving your sleep. Losing weight and exercising more improve muscle tone, even in your palate. Avoiding alcohol before bedtime may help too. If allergies or nasal congestion seem to be the cause of snoring, an antihistamine or decongestant might be all you need to breathe freely and sleep comfortably. As a last resort, there are several surgical procedures doctors can perform to increase the size of your airways. In some cases it’s just a matter of fixing a structural problem such as a deviated septum or removing adenoids. Other techniques include placing implants in the palate, which stimulate the formation of scar tissue and reduce snoring, or removing the uvula. Both of these procedures have a success rate of around 50%, though the long-term benefits are not yet known.

Over time, diabetes can affect many parts of your body. One of those is the vagus nerve, which controls how quickly your stomach empties. When it's damaged, your digestion slows down and food stays in your body longer than it should. This is a condition called gastroparesis. It can make you feel queasy and vomit. It's also bad for your blood sugar levels. Although it's more common in people with type 1 diabetes, people with type 2 can also get it. Most people with gastroparesis have had diabetes for at least 10 years and also have other complications related to the disease. If you have diabetes, one of the best ways to help control the symptoms of gastroparesis is to vary when and how you eat. For instance, instead of eating three times a day, you can have six small meals. You'll have less food in your stomach, so you won't feel as full. It'll be easier for the food to leave your system, too. Also, pay attention to the texture of food. Liquids and things that are easy to digest are a good idea. Avoid foods that are high in fat, which can slow down digestion. Also watch out for fiber, which takes longer for your body to process.

Gastritis can be caused by irritation due to excessive alcohol use, chronic vomiting, stress, or the use of certain medications such as aspirin or other anti-inflammatory drugs or long term antibiotics use. It may also be caused by any of the following: helicobacter pylori (h. Pylori): a bacteria that lives in the mucous lining of the stomach; without treatment, the infection can lead to ulcers, and in some people, stomach cancer. Pernicious anemia: a form of anemia that occurs when the stomach lacks a naturally occurring substance needed to properly absorb and digest vitamin b12 bile reflux: a backflow of bile into the stomach from the bile tract (that connects to the liver and gallbladder) infections caused by bacteria and viruses you can go in for an upper gi endoscopy to look for cause in your stomach and then start treatment accordingly after consulting a gastroenterologist.

Try gentle exercise. Take a short walk each day. Gradually increase your walking time until you are walking for at least 20 minutes. Make sure you drink enough fluids. Most adults should try to drink between 8 and 10 glasses of water or noncaffeinated beverages each day. Avoid alcoholic beverages and caffeine, which can increase dehydration. If you have heart failure or kidney failure, talk to your doctor about what amount of fluid is right for you. Include fruits, vegetables, and fiber in your diet each day. Have cereal for breakfast, and try eating a piece of fruit for a mid-afternoon snack. Schedule time each day for a bowel movement (after breakfast, for example). Establishing a daily routine may help. Take your time. Do not be in a hurry. You can try over the counter preparations like isakbol 2 teaspoons mixed with water at night daily to increase roughage.

These factors increase your risk for another heart attack: inactive lifestyle being overweight or obese high cholesterol high blood sugar, if you have diabetes high blood pressure smoking excess stress metal stents, devices placed into an artery to keep the vessel open, have been used in lieu of balloon angioplasty to treat patients with coronary artery disease (cad) for about 15 years, due to their better long-term patency. Nonetheless, with conventional (" bare metal") stents, there may be a disease recurrence rate of at least 20% to 30% due to scar tissue formation within the stent. Much research has been done to try to prevent this scar tissue formation. In the past decade, newer metal stents coated with medication to prevent scar tissue formation have become widely available. These stents have reduced the recurrence (" restenosis") rate of coronary artery disease to well under 10%. These percentages are vlid only if you take proper precautions to avoid risk factors for heart attack as mentioned above and you keep taking your prescribed medicines regularly.

Although human body may harbor the bacteria that cause tuberculosis, but immune system usually can prevent a person from falling sick. For this reason, doctors make a distinction between: latent tb. In this condition, you have a tb infection, but the bacteria remain in your body in an inactive state and cause no symptoms. Latent tb, also called inactive tb or tb infection, isn't contagious. It can turn into active tb, so treatment is important for the person with latent tb and to help control the spread of tb. Active tb. This condition makes you sick and can spread to others. It can occur in the first few weeks after infection with the tb bacteria, or it might occur years later. Signs and symptoms of active tb include: coughing that lasts three or more weeks coughing up blood chest pain, or pain with breathing or coughing unintentional weight loss fatigue fever night sweats chills loss of appetite tuberculosis can also affect other parts of your body, including your kidneys, spine or brain. When tb occurs outside your lungs, signs and symptoms vary according to the organs involved. For example, tuberculosis of the spine may give you back pain, and tuberculosis in your kidneys might cause blood in your urine.

Most people who have an acute hepatitis b infection don't have symptoms. But if you do have symptoms, they may include: extreme tiredness (fatigue). Mild fever. Headache. Loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting. Constant discomfort on the right side of the belly under the rib cage. (that's where the liver is located.) black colored stools. Dark urine. Jaundice. This means that the skin and whites of the eyes look yellow. Jaundice is a major sign of liver damage. It usually appears after other symptoms have started to go away. Most people who have chronic infection have no symptoms. You may get infected without knowing it. You may not find out that you have an infection until you have a routine blood test or donate blood. Finding out that a family member or someone you live with is infected also may inspire you to be tested. Some people never know they have hepatitis b until a doctor finds that they have cirrhosis or liver cancer.

Penis size is genetic. There is no medication or herbal product of any kind that will enlarge your penis so do not waste your money. Honestly, most women do not care much about size. A large penis in of itself does not make for satisfactory sex and a very large penis can hurt. What satisfies a woman best is that you put her needs as being of utmost importance. If you give your woman a lot of attention she will not care about the size of your penis. Most of us will take a man who pays attention to us over a man with a large penis who satisfies only himself any day.

Isolation of the patient for about 6 days after the onset of rashes and disinfecting the articles soiled by nose and throat discharge of the patient are the usual control measures. Treatment mostly consists of easing the symptoms. In serious cases of chickenpox and in people with a weak immune system, aciclovir which works specifically against chickenpox can be used. The drug should help reduce the severity of chickenpox symptoms, especially in older children and teenagers if taken within 24 hours of the rash's first appearance. An alternative antiviral agent is vidarabine. The infected person will be contagious until all the blisters have scabs and when new blisters have stopped appearing. It is advised that the patient should stay at home while they are infectious. Avoid scratching the blisters because of the risk of infection. Cut the nails short or make the patient wear gloves. Pay attention to personal hygiene. Calamine lotion will help relieve itching. Keep the patient in cold surroundings as heat and sweat may make the itching worse. In attacks of chickenpox where the itching is so serious that the sleep is totally disturbed, antihistamine medications with a heavily sedative effect can be used. Many other skin diseases look like chicken pox so kindly visit a dermatologist and get your disease confirmed before starting any medication.

STOP AND START METHOD This method is one of the best methods to delay your ejaculation, intensify your orgasms, as well as increase your ejaculate volume. It’s quite simple; all you need to do is withdraw as soon as you feel yourself as reaching a climax. Allow yourself to relax for a while until the sensation subsides. Once the sensation has passed, you can penetrate your partner again and continue. The method not only prolongs your sexual pleasure but the whole process of withdrawing and penetrating again will make your partner long for more and she is likely to reach an orgasm that she has never ever experienced before. SQUEEZE METHODS Another technique is to squeeze the tip of the penis. This is again done as soon as you feel yourself about to ejaculate. The method is perfect for those who men tend to ejaculate even before penetration. As soon as you feel like ejaculating, just squeeze the tip of the penis for ten to twenty seconds. Maintain the squeeze till the feeling subsides. Once the feeling has passed, wait for around 30 seconds and then penetrate again. You can continue doing this until the time that you and your partner are ready to ejaculate. Meet a physician to rule out diabetes or any other medical illness causing your problem.
