Home remedies to relieve you of dandruff

Dandruff is a very common scalp disorder. And common reasons for dandruff are dry skin, oily but irritated skin, other skin conditions, bacterial infection, etc. Dandruff weakens hair follicles. There are many ways to cure the problem, however the best dandruff cures usually are home remedies.

Try these home remedies to get rid of dandruff:

    1. Apple cider vinegar: acv is a very effective product for a lot of health problems, including dandruff. All that you need to do is take a couple of spoons of the vinegar and mix with the same amount of water. In the mix, add about 20 drops of tea tree oil and message this mix on your scalp. Rinse after a few minutes.

    2. Neem: leaves of neem tree have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, and are very good for hair. Just boil a handful of leaves in four cups of water. When the water has cooled down, strain and use it to rinse your hair. Do this twice or thrice a week.

    3. Olive oil: if you get dandruff because your scalp is dry, extra virgin olive oil can be of help to you. Warm some oil and massage it on your scalp. Wrap a warm towel on your hair for 45 minutes and shampoo your hair. You can do this every time you plan to wash your hair.

    4. Coconut oil and lemon: take some coconut oil and add juice of half a lemon in it. Use the mix to rub on your scalp and leave it on for about 20 minutes before you wash your hair. Do this before your hair wash, two to three times a week. This mixture deeply nourishes the scalp and cleanses it too.
