Hamstring is a group of four muscles that run along the back of our thigh which allows us to bend your knee. Whenever there is a stretch or tear, affecting these muscles itself or the tissue connecting these muscles to the bones, it is known as Hamstring strain. One is likely to get a hamstring strain during activities involving a lot of running and jumping or sudden stopping and starting.
