A simple answer is a big yes.
- You can be fat and comfortable and healthy and flexible and everything now but those extra fleshes don't help you in a long run. This is called'metabolic healthy obesity' and this may not be permanent.
- As you age, your metabolism drops down faster and that is when you encounter more problems physically and mentally. Breathlessness, sleep apnea, body ache, metabolic syndrome, difficulty in getting pregnant, heart disease, increased blood pressure, knee pain, heel pain, lower immunity, itching, poor blood circulation, body odour, digestive problems, some kind of cancers, profuse sweating, depression and so many other troubles accompany weight gain over a period of time.
- Higher bmi is not always acceptable. Even if you feel comfortable in your own body, it is very important to eat right, stay physically active and follow a healthy lifestyle.
- A vehicle with less weight gives more mileage. Agree?
