According to ayurveda, for treatmnet of obesity, you firstly stop causative factors from your life style. Like drinking too much cold water, eat too much sweets, day sleep, water after meal, lack of exercise, curd, menda etc. I will need your detail history. Till you can follow this * start drinking hot water * stop day sleep * start any exercise in morning, like suryanamaskar, walking, joging, sports * drink juice of turmeric n ginger with honey * take jau barley, instead of ghenhu wheat. * use cow ghee n milk only * boild rise in open pot, don't use cocker. Withdraw water if rice we are offering ayurveda course for obesity. For weight reduce in particular organ, excersice of that organ is best. Diet & medicine can affect on whole body. So start abdomen excersice. One more thing you can do it, use barley flour & triphala powder. Use it for massage on abdomen before going to bath.

Dear user, burning more calories that you take is the best way to lose weight. 1. Controlling your diet and exercising regularly is the key to losing weight. Taking the following could also help in accelerating the weight loss process: taking pranacharya medohar rasayan (1-1) twice a day; taking medohar guggul (2-2) twice a day; pranacharya slim capsule (1-1) twice a day. 2. It is advisable to avoid junk, fried, fermented or oily food. You should also avoid the intake of alcohol, sugar, dairy products. 3. You should increase the intake of oats and cereals. You should incorporate a walk of at least 45 minutes in your daily regime and prayanama every morning. It is advised not to sleep immediately after taking a meal.

I am 22 years old and my weight is just 51 kgs. I am not able to take proper diet due to my busy schedule. But I want to gain muscle mass not fat. For that I have purchased protein supplement (On Whey protein. I have just started gym. I just wanted to know how to take this supplement. On box it is mentioned 1 scoop contains 30g. Since I am beginner, should I start with one full scoop or 2 half scoops in morning and evening. I am very confused how to intake this supplement so that I get good results and my money and protein wouldn't waste. Also I am vegetarian can't eat meat or eggs.(

Hello you need to understand the concept of weight loss, it requires cut down in calories (under the guidance of dietician) along with exercises like brisk walking or cycling or yoga and stretching 5 days a week for at-least 25-30 mins. Include foods like green tea, lemon water, jeera water, salad vegetables like onion, tomato, cucumber, kakri, cabbage and fruits like melon, watermelon, plums. Avoid fried foods, carbonated drinks, sweets and processed foods. Drink plenty of water. Take small and regular meals like 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Take chamomile tea before going to bed. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Don't skip breakfast. Thank you.

Dear lybrate-user, As per your weight that you mentioned here, is certainly stating the fact that you're weak. The veggies/juices or milk that you're consuming are very good but you're not taking all the adequate nutrient intake for your body which is complete diet. I would like to suggest you to please introduce more high protein foods in your diet which will promote growth and give strength to the body. You need to have at least 7-8 ounces of meat/fish/poultry or equivalent amount of whole pulses or lentils in case you're vegetarian. At least 4 cups of milk, 2 eggs and 1-2 servings of green leafy/yellow vegetables in a day. Salads and fresh fruits are must. Citrus fruits are good sources of ascorbic acid. Whole grain cereals or breads shall be included for healthy digestion. Additional foods from the fats or sweets group including butter, sugar, desserts Or more of the listed foods above shall be combined to meet the caloric requirements.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine alfalfa tonic (sbl) (1tbs) twice a day for 15 days and revert. *avoid fried and spicy food *avoid stress and anger. *take a sound sleep. *take milk twice a day *include fruits, vegetables in your diet. *take small meals.

If you are talking about cooking brown rice. yes some B vitamin loss is expected as it is water soluble and heat resistant. But protein loss will not be there. you can still eat brown rice for its goodness in fibre and low starch content. To compensate loss if B vitamins add a cup of sprouts salad to your menu.
