The B.P. Reading is not an issue. Moreover, palpitations may occur at times. If your palpitations are occurring frequently and is bothersome to you, you may consult the cardiologist. Else occasional palpitations are not to be much worried.

Hello lybrate-user asak your father does have a very weak heart and bypass surgery is going to be very high risk due to this. If the angiogram shows good target vessels and thallium scan shows good amount of viable myocardium, then surgery is going to be beneficial. Even then you have to realise that it is going to be a high risk surgery.

Hello, I have gone through the values mentioned, following are higher than normal: uric acid, total cholesterol, ldl and alt. Others are fine. Toal cholesterol is marginally high but ldl is definitely much higher. Liver enzyme alt is also marginally high. Not much of a problem but if you are alcoholic then it is better to reduce or stop that. Higher uric acid can cause joit pains, otherwise nothing much to worry.

How to reduce stomach cholesterol. please suggest.?

MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
Endocrinologist,
How to reduce stomach cholesterol. please suggest.?
Hello dear High cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation, yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

I have chest pain.what should i do?

DNB (ENT), MBBS
Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT) Specialist,
I have chest pain.what should i do?
Hi . If the chest pain can be pointed by a finger and if it worsens on taking a deep breath it is probably due to a muscular chest pain. If the chest pain is diffuse and you get tired soon then you should evaluate your heart and get an ecg.

Hi, I am 28 years old getting back and chest pain both together front and back same position. From 3 weeks suggest me what can I do.

Diploma In Orthopaedics (D. Ortho)

Hi if you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia, weakness in limbs etc, my advice is: - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic like diclofenac or something which suits your body for 5-7 days - take muscle relaxant for same time as analgesic to relieve muscle spasm - ice packs at the site of pain, muscle spasm - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know in a week time how you are feeling. I will actually ask you to get x ray of involved region of spine (ap & lateral) and send reports across to me so that I can advise further in a better manner. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

You might be suffering from tinnitus which is the sensation of hearing ringing, buzzing, hissing, chirping, whistling, or other sounds and is often associated with hearing loss. There are multiple causes of tinnitus like ear wax, middle ear infection, hypertension, migraine, age related and many more. Consult a nearby ent specialist for proper evaluation (which will include a complete ent examination, audiogram and some radiological investigations) and management which is currently cognitive behavioral therapy/ tinnitus retraining therapy.

Every human being there heart re left side so my question is why? Why not right side.
This is the way god has created us, btw heart is in centre but tilted towards left but some individuals are borne with a heart on right side & they remain normal or carry as much heart risk as rest of us do.

Hello, As atorvastatin is helping you to reduce the TG but it has a withdrawal process. But that also do not make so much difference. But with the withdrawal process of atrovastatin you should go through proper Characterized Homeopathic case recording for your individualized treatment else your problem will persist. Homeo treatment will help you to reduce the intake of Tonact which has chemical effect on health. TG is directly effects on health. If think fit you may contact though Lybrate for your constitutional treatment.

I am 28 years old getting suddenly unwillingness and tension with anger. From last 3 months. In past from last 4 yes ...
It appears to me that you have some suppressed anger. If your reports are clear and if you still have chest pain then please understand that your suppressed negative emotions are affecting your body. Please talk to a Counsellor. The Counsellor will help you to understand your hidden negative feelings and will also help you to deal with it. Once you give healthy outlet to your negative feelings you will feel better and will be able to enjoy your life.
