Hi if you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia, weakness in limbs etc, my advice is: - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic like diclofenac or something which suits your body for 5-7 days - take muscle relaxant for same time as analgesic to relieve muscle spasm - ice packs at the site of pain, muscle spasm - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know in a week time how you are feeling. I will actually ask you to get x ray of involved region of spine (ap & lateral) and send reports across to me so that I can advise further in a better manner. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # change sleeping position. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same, you need specific treatment plan according to your symptoms. Knock knees cannot be sorted out in 20 days time. First need to know the reason behind knock knees. If it's soft tissue related bracing can help. If it's bony, often surgical corrections will be necessary.

Postural hypotension means that your nerves are not working properly in a normal person, when he gets up and stands from lying down position, the blood pressure increases in your case, the increase will not be normal.

Do x ray of cervical spine. When you on tense your cervical muscle got stiff. Bcz of stiffness of the cervical muscle blood circulation of brain are interrupt so you feel vomiting. When you have any tense you do slowly neck bending leftside to right side. Slowly neck rotation left right. Take hot fermentation on neck for 15 mints.

Your wife most probably has osteoarthritis with an acute inflammatory flare. The diagnosis needs to confirmed. Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Management: -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. -Some people seem to benefit from the use of ice or heat. Take care, do not use a heating pad on ‘high’ or place ice directly on the skin. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch. 1. Lie on your back. 2. Cross your left leg over your right so that your left ankle rests on your right knee. 3. Use your hands to grab hold of your left knee and pull it gently toward the opposite shoulder. 4. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds. 5. Relax, and then repeat with the other leg. 6. Repeat this cycle 2 to 4 times.

Hi. You should avoid forward bending activities, especially while lifting weights. Learn spinal and core strengthening exercises from a physiotherapist and do them regularly. You should also learn about proper posture and follow it during daily routine activities.

I have severe back pain. Its exactly just above the right side of the back above the hip. I did Kub, exray and c.T. Everything is normal and my esnophil is 17. But still the back pain remains.

Hello , Back pain can be treated with of the help of directional specific exercises. Your all reports may seem normal But you might suffer from pain. For this troublesome pain a complete assessment should be done.I assess and treat the patients through the MCKENZIE METHOD which is a world class level of treating patients with spine and joints problem. After complete assessment, exercises will be given which will decrease and abolish the pain.

My MRI LS Spine done on 25-may-2016 final impression says-"Grade 1 spondylolisthesis of L4 over L5 which along with degenerated and posteriorly herniated intervening L4-L5 IV disc, causing indentation of thecal sac with encroachment upon bilateral lateral recesses, both neural foramina and the bilateral exiting nerve roots (Right >Left)" Few days back I got lower back pain during playing cricket, though in initial days the pain is not that much and after few days rest I join back office, but after 5 days of my office my back is again start pain and now I am not able to stand straight, my back is tilt towards left over my naval point, Now my question is - what kind of bed rest should I prefer though doctor suggested me complete bed rest for three weeks and 4 mg of steroids thrice a day and pain killer with Caltok M2, I usually stands in morning for loo and bath and during day for food. From last 5 days of medication last 2 days I feel no pain in morning but my posture problem is as it was, but as day progresses pain develop again. Is it because of my moment or what? please help me to get early relief as I can't take more leave then three weeks.

With medicine tk physiotherapy treatment must and and do posture correction sit straight tk soft pillow for back support tk break between your office work and do walk and stretching exercise. Do strength exercise after relief in gradually process.

Thanks for the query. Most of the times if you have good recovery from hemiplegia you would be moving fingers and arms with reasonable amount of power. If you had not recovered then the chances of muscle power coming back is remote. It is best if you try physiotherapy to the fingers to keep the joints supple and mobile.
