Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Hi, thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc and with no other associated constitutional symptoms like evening rise in temperature, loss of weight, excessive sweating at night etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. According your age it may be muscle strain so tk physiotherapy for 5 days ultrasonic therapy. Haath upper aa jaiga.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Inform after 5 days.

Irregular periods r quite common in this age group, But you should use effective contraception as still there are some chances of getting pregnant. Do a urine pregnancy test yourself. If its negative. Then let me know I will prescribe you medicine for white discharge and morning sickness.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

You need some exercises. Usually post pregnancy back pain is because of weak muscles, vitamin and calcium deficiency.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Prolonged working on laptop/tv/mobile can cause computer vision syndrome. Computer vision syndrome is a condition resulting from focusing the eyes on a computer or other display device for, uninterrupted periods of time. Some symptoms of cvs include a. Headaches b blurred vision c. Neck pain d redness in the eyes e. Eye strain f dry eyes sometimes watery eyes these symptoms can be further aggravated by improper lighting conditions. Measures to reduce this include 1. Work under proper light. 2. Blink a lot. 3. Cold compresses 4. Use good lubricating eyedrop.

You need to change chair or get the back support. Continue exercises. Check blood for serum vitamin d levels.

I am 58 yes old and diabetic and hypertensive and taking tab amaryl 1 mg and olmetime h 40. Both are under control but I am getting heavily burning and pain in my both foot sole with awkward feeling on both toe please advise.

I feel you r suffering from diabetic neuropathy. Keep your blood sugar in control by regular exercises, restricted diet and timely medicines. Take some multivitamins for few days.

Hi Naman, ankle pain maybe due to sprain. Use crepe bandage for ankle and wrap it like figure of 8 around your ankle. Exercises for ankle: draw alphabet from your great toe with ankle movement but your leg should be static while making alphabet. It will maintain your strength of muscle connected with ankle.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Why not discuss with me in a video conference? Hi doctor I am 24 year old and I am suffering from lower back pain 4 years back I got an accident which is treated well and pain is gone but after 2 years from this incident again this pain started its a time of winter so we thought because of winters pain might occur but since last 4 months again this pain occur and iam unable to understand the reason why this is happening this pain mostly occur while iam relaxing in home and while sleeping this pain can started in chest also. You will have to let me know what injury did you sustain earlier, was that at back, what was the diagnosis at that time and what management was done for it? you have mentioned that you are having back pain, can I ask you on a scale of 1-10 what is the intensity of this pain? I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias (electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs.
