Instead of reducing your calcium intake, focus on limiting the sodium in your diet. Extra sodium causes you to lose more calcium in your urine, putting you at risk for developing another stone. Limit your sodium to 2, 000 milligrams each day. There are many sources of hidden sodium such as canned or commercially processed foods as well as restaurant-prepared and fast foods. Calcium oxalate kidney stones are the leading type of kidney stones. Oxalate is naturally found in many foods, including fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, grains, legumes, and even chocolate and tea. Some examples of foods that contain high levels of oxalate include: peanuts, spinach, beets, chocolate and sweet potatoes. Another common type of kidney stone is a uric acid stone. Red meat and shellfish have high concentrations of a natural chemical compound known as a purine. High purine intake leads to a higher production of uric acid which then accumulates as crystals in the joints, or as stones in the kidneys. To prevent uric acid stones, cut down on high-purine foods such as red meat, organ meats, and shellfish, and follow a healthy diet that contains mostly vegetables and fruits, whole grains, and low fat dairy products. Limit sugar-sweetened foods and drinks, especially those that contain high fructose corn syrup. Limit alcohol because it can increase uric acid levels in the blood and avoid crash diets for the same reason. Eating less animal-based protein and eating more fruits and vegetables will help decrease urine acidity and this will help reduce the chance for stone formation. You should also be sure to drink at least 6-8 glass of water a day to help reduce the risk for stone formation.

There is no need t o continue citralka The Citralka or disodium hydrogen citrate is used in urinary tract infection to give relief to patients suffering from discomfort. The medicine is also known to decrease the chances of uric acid stones in a nascent stage of uricosuric therapy

My sister 38 years old female. She is suffering from anti gbm antibody disease from last 4 months. Initially she has only symptoms of renal involvement she used immunosuppressants and prednisalone for 2 months. Her renal function not improved because of side effects she stopped those tablets. After 10 days pulmonary symptoms began (severe cough, sputum with blood streaks, low grade fever) now she is using cyclophosphamide and on regular dialysis. Is there any other way to improve her condition? please suggest a solution for this problem.

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
As it is a known auto immune disease which is affecting the kidney and lungs and we have already seen that once you stopped the treatment pulmonary symptoms had developed and if we discontinue the treatment than there can be death due to kidney and lung failure and with ongoing treatment we are clearing the auto antibodies and making her survive for more years to come

Hello sir my mom is suffering from kidney stone both side so please give a suggestion to remove this naturally.
if stones are less then 6 mm and non obstructing then they may pass spontaneously, for that you should take plenty of fluids orally, you need to be investigated like urine rm, urine cs, serum creatinine, serum calcium, serum uric acid, to prevent from further stone formation and diet modification. consult urologists.
