I am a 26 old girl. Due to pollution my hair turns very oily and I wash it every day. As a result of which at places my scalp is visible which looks very bad. Also my hair has very less volume. Follow this - use aha glow face wash daily use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

I have a problem of less sleep. Even trying soo hard I am not able to sleep for more than 4 hours. And 8-9 hours sleep is important. Can you please help me out in this problem. I don't smoke or drink. Nor I am addictive to any of the drug. I am a sports person and only take glucose.

As a sports person, you will need your sleep to be normal always. Try these techniques and see how successful you are: In your case particularly, do not sleep during the day; don’t even lie down. Go for regular exercise (breathing through your nostrils only) at a fixed time (at about 6 am) every day, whether you sleep or not. You must develop this habit of sleeping by 10 pm latest every night and wake up at a uniform time by 6 am every morning, even if you do not get sleep. If you do not get sleep, just lie down and if you have a bed lamp (or you could get one) lie down and read something light but not exciting. Your eyes will tire and you will fall asleep. If you like you may also put on light and soft music with the sleep function on. Depending on whether you are a visual or auditory person, you may watch TV in a lying down position until you feel sleepy. Have a warm bath before going to bed (for some people a cold bath at night seems to induce sleep! If you are one of them, please do so). Place the head side of your bed in a North-South position. The room must be as dark as possible and there should be no electronic items that give off even a light LED glow. There must be ample ventilation in the room. Avoid strong odors, except lavender, on your body or in the room, or on your sheets and clothes. There should not be any live plants in your bedroom. Sleep with the lightest of clothes or without any clothing. When lying down to sleep, lie down on your left ear as much as possible. Do not sleep directly under an overhead fan. You must eat a good breakfast, a fairly light lunch, and an early dinner, which should be a very light meal. Whatever you eat in the other meals, have only a pure carbohydrate meal at night with any vegetables, and preferably before 8 pm. Do not drink much liquids after or near about dinner time. When lying down to sleep you may use the 4-7-8 breathing pattern of sleep inducement i.e. Breathe in for four counts through your nostril only, hold for 7 counts, and exhale with a whoosh sound, through your mouth only, for 8 counts. Repeat this four times in the morning and just before you sleep at night. If you know Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT (check this out either on YouTube or Google), then please practice this too for sleep induction. Self-hypnosis and slow relaxation techniques, at night will be tremendously useful. Acupuncture or acupressure will both be very useful too. Pray last thing at night before you sleep.

Atkeast 30 min. Work out is a must. Rip inning/jogging whenever you find time in the day/eve/night. Diet is the main focus after workout. -in the morning, take one glass hot lemon water with honey 8: 00 a. M. -take light breakfast like, poha/upma/plain idli /sandwich with one glass milk10: 00 a. M. -eat one fruit like banana/melon/apple 12: 00 -have butter milk and then take your meal.(eat either steamed rice or chapati, not both and eat lesser than you normally eat.) 2: 00 p. M. -take green tea 4: 00 p. M. -eat roasted chana/ khakhra, one digestive or marie biscuit with tea/coffee/bournvita/proteinex (you may add sugar if you feel the need) 6: 00 p. M. -eat dinner like boiled vegetables/baked vegetables/soup /khichdi (idea is to take dinner 3-4 hours before bed time) 8: 00 p. M. If you are starving with this diet, you can add few more healthy foods, but keep a gap of two hours in each. You may redo the timings with the same gap, according to your schedule.

Add a desirable amount of white multani powder (it is different from multani mitti, ask from any good, pansari shop, they have it) 1-2 spoons, and at lat add 10-20 drops of lime (nimdu) such that the consistenccy of this paste is semisolid and can be easily applicable on skin. Now apply on the acne prone skin until it is dry and wah it with cleano soap after 10-20 minutes. Do this procedure every alternate day.

acne is a common problem in teen. Almost everybody will get pimples during their teen years. First, don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction (rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin c (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin e on scars. You may have heard that applying vitamin e to a scar will help it heal faster. But according to a study, applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can actually hinder its healing. In the study, vitamin e either had no effect or made matters worse for 90% of the patients, and 33% who put vitamin e on the skin developed a contact dermatitis. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids through a diet significantly rich in fish and seafood results in lower rates of an inflammatory disease like acne. A low-glycemic-index diet also reduces acne risk. I being a both a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Mix powdered Indian gooseberry (amla) and sesame seeds in equal amounts. Take 1 teaspoon twice a day with water. Massage with bhrigraj oil thrice a week. Use mild herbal shampoo.. Take amla tablets 2 tab twice daily with water for 1 month.

Gargling with warm salt water is an effective way to treat a sore throat. Salt can even help kill the bacteria or virus causing pharyngitis. 1. Mix three teaspoons of salt (preferably sea salt) in two cups of warm water. 2. Gargle with this solution. Do not swallow it. Spit the water out after gargling. 3. Do this several times daily for one to two days.

Cobra Stretch:-Cobra stretch is pretty well known for its potential in increasing one’s height. Lie on your abdomen, then with your palms pressing on the ground parallel to your shoulders, lift your hips off the floor. Again, do not hunch, keep your back straight. Hold this position about 20 seconds then come back down. For beginners, this stretch can cause a burning sensation in your lower neck due to the pressure.

Start with Physiotherapy treatment to relieve pain. Start taking milk twice a day. Don't lift heavy things. Start with spinal exercise. Apply volini cream. Use lumber spine belt. Take calcium and multivitamin for 2 month.
