I have a lumbar buldge in my L2-L5 .Is there any treatment for this or with a complete rest will recover my pain ?Even when I stand and sit for a more time it causes pain and also when I lie down on a carpet that causes pain.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Daily I suffer from savior neck pain at nights or sometimes even in early morning. I actually look so tall. But I suffer daily. I doesn't know the reason. I took all scans xray. But noting was found in tat. Even now it's so painful.

Hello, Kindly follow advises given below 1.Avoid using computers continuously, take rest for 5 min after working for half an hour 2. In pain free interval do neck exercise (kindly learn exercise by registered Trainer) 3. you can use thin pillow while sleeping so that normal posture of neck can be maintained 4.Maintain proper posture of body while watching TV/ studying Consult Physician/me for Further Management

Apply hot fomentation Take rest breaks in between your work of at least 5-10 min, do self stretching of whole body Do spinal extension exercise Do stretching of hamstrings, quadriceps & calf muscles Do ankle pumps Do neck stretching All exercise must be done twice a day Make use of footrest while sitting Your lower back must be well supported, keep a cushio or thin pillow Take plenty of fluids.

Easiest and sure way of getting vitamin D is sitting in Soft sunlight for 1/2 to 1 hour for five days a week. Otherwise she can take vitamin D 3 tablets or sache after checking green mark on them.

You are most likely suffering from myofascial pains involving neck and shoulder muscles. You should consult a pain specialist and get intramuscular stimulation done. This therapy is safe and effective to relieve muscle spasm and stress. Meanwhile observe these tips to get relief: 1. Take anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen round the clock for 5 days 2. Apply warm fomentation over affected areas. 3. Do neck and shoulder exercises once pain is relieved. Consult again for further queries.

How can I control the diabetes of my mother, her age is 48, please suggest me fastly, or also to control the knee pain.
For diabetes follow a diet low in carbohydrate, low in fat and high in fibre. Avoid bakery products. Avoid too much rice and potato. Avoid fried stuff. Avoid chocolate, cakes, ice cream, soft drinks and fruit juices. Eat lots of vegetables. Walk for at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days in a week. Medicine will depend upon your blood sugar report. For knee pain consult an orthopaedician.

Hi. Backpain is a common problem. It is mainly due to bad posture and activities like bad reading position, bad chairs n bad bed etc. Stand n walk upright without stooping. Sit in a proper chair. Take 5-10 min breaks every 2 hrs. Sleep on a flat bed. Do exercise daily. While sleeping keep a rolled towel under your knees. Back pain gets relieved by lifestyle modifications. Do back strengthening exercises. Thank you.

She is feeling pain in her heels and around it ftom last couple of months. Sometimes feel difficult to walk after getting from the bed after a long time or from chair after couple of hours. Please suggest.

Although there can be many causes for Heel pain like spurs, fascial inflammation, infection, trauma etc but normally Plantar Fascitis is the most common cause especially if there is no history of any injury or any s/s of inflammation or infection like swelling, skin redness etc. This kind of pain is usually due to inflammation of your heel fascia. It is chronic pain which get aggravated especially when you walk more and is better with rest. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily .Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. .Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

I fell from a motorbike skidding on a soil/clay road 10 days back. Bike safety guard slightly pressed my leg MTP Joint, there is no fracture/swelling but pain persist, I didn't use any pain killers or cloth thinking it would heal automatically since there is no swelling/injury. Please advise.

Most of software professionals don't know how to work on computer for long time without giving trouble to eyes. While working on computer number of blinking drastically goes down from around 24 per minute to around 8 per minute leading to severe dryness causing burning, eyestrain, blurring of vision & headache. One should try to have normal blinking while working on computer, should look away from screen after every 10 minute , should take rest for 10 minute after every 2 hours& should wear antiglare glass. Software professionals should use lubricating eye drops 4-5 times daily (Systane ultra)&genteal gel once at bed time.
